The pictures didn’t do the place justice. It was the cutest home with a great front and back outdoor area. I loved the location - walking distance from so much stuff! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated apartment in a great location. It’s a very easy walk to the Capitol, Library of Congress, and Supreme Court, and the Capitol South Metro stop is about a block away. We visited during a heatwave, so we wound up taking Uber rides more than planned, but it was just a short ride to the Mall and other sites. We were grateful that the a/c kept the place cool even when it was 99 degrees F outside! There were three of us—two adults and a kid—and there was plenty of room. The bed and rollaway bed (which you need to request in advance) were both comfortable, and I wish I had one of the memory foam pillows at home. The host was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this rental!

The property is in a very convenient location, close to the Capitol building, metro stations, and several restaurants. It is well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were very prompt and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property for any couples interested in vacationing in Washington DC.

Reserving and communication with owners was simple and reassuring. The unit was easy to enter and it was nicely appointed, clean and easy to get settled. The location is on a beautiful tree lined street which is less than a block from the metro stop which gives short access to the Smithsonian Museums and other notable places in the district. Since we drove to Washington we were able to purchase a parking pass for the duration of our stay and available spaces were their when we needed them. Clean, Safe and Great Location.

What a great week we had at this place. The bed and pillows are amazing and the rest of the apartment is also very comfortable. Only 1/2 block from subway to get to anywhere which was convenient It’s also very easy going to and from the airport on the metro (subway). That takes about 30 minutes and cost $2.00 a person. Would definitely stay there again if going to DC

This is a super cute home only a few blocks away from the capitol, museums, grocery store, Eastern market and restaurants. Really safe and beautiful neighborhood.

Great location for my 5 days in DC. Was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go and the Metro was only a couple of blocks away so easy to get around town when I needed to Would recommend this property as the hosts are very nice and responsive

The apartment was great! The host were responsive and welcoming to us and our requests. House was clean and inviting. Location was perfect! Walked to The Capital and National Mall. Took short/ cheap Uber rides to other locations.

Perfect location to enjoy all DC has to offer, either on foot, a bike or metro. Lovely tree-lined quiet street with outdoor space for coffee and people watching. Whole Food close by! Enjoyed my time living like a local in this sweet Capital Hill spot.

We took a cab from union Station but walked to the station when leaving. It’s an easy walk! We used the metro a lot, but it’s an easy walk to the Mall and many museums. Quiet restful spot.

We had a great time staying in this lovely flat, and we will definitely return! It is located in a beautiful neighborhood of row houses, a block from the subway (that goes everywhere but is just far enough from the rental to not be heard), and two blocks from the Library of Congress and the Capitol. It is also a short walk to the wharf or Eastern Market / Capitol Hill neighborhood. It is perfectly situated in a great neighborhood. We loved the cafe around the corner (Le Bon Cafe) for breakfast. The entire apartment was clean, comfortable, and attractive. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy take-in, plus a washer/dryer. The bedroom had excellent options to unpack and hang up clothes or stash them in a dresser, good lighting for reading, and the best--the bed and pillows were outstanding, and we slept soundly. We enjoyed movies on the tv (signed in with our Netflix account) and appreciated the many thoughtful extras throughout the rental. The twin bed set up for our teenager worked well. We requested a parking pass, and we easily found a space directly in front of the rental. Marina was friendly and helpful through several communications. We didn't need anything from Marina while we were there because everything was perfect--easy to get in, clear about check-in/check-out, everything explained well in a binder. This is a comfortable, quiet, well-appointed rental in an upscale residential neighborhood five minutes from the Capitol. A treasure!

This place was really impressive! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Owner had clear and detailed information on directions, expectations and excellent recommendations for restaurants. Metro was a block away and neighborhood was inviting. I highly recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Nation’s Capital. The location of this home was fantastic- so close to historical buildings and the Metro to easily get around. We would highly recommend this property!

Property is in a great spot. Easy Metro Blue line access. Bed and couch were super comfortable. A little noisy from upstairs and other space next door but it’s an urban condo so that’s expected. Wasn’t loud during evening or late hours. Great communication from the owners. Overall would definitely stay again.

This was our first VRBO and I'll tell you what, Marina and James have set the bar pretty high. It was wonderful! Everything you read in the write up about their property is spot on. The location couldn't be more perfect. Marina and James are top tier hosts. They respect your privacy and at the same time are very approachable. So, don't buy into any of the negative reviews. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Good location close to the Capitol

This apartment is as advertised and a perfect base for time in Washington. Many destinations are within walking distance and others easily accessed via the nearby metro stations. The owners ensured a very smooth process for access and answering questions. The apartment is very well appointed and very clean with everything you need. It was lovely to return to at the end of a busy da.

This 1 BR/1BA was perfect for our DC stay. It was conveniently located by the Capital south Metro station. D street is a lovely residential street of historic homes from ranging from 1879. The suite itself had all the comforts of home with a kitchen and washer.

This place is as exactly stated in the description. Easy walking distance from museums, restaurants, and cafes. We had dinner down at the Wharf and was comfortable walking back at night. We’ll definitely start again next time we’re in the area.

The accommodations were as describe and very comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen had all amenities to make meals, and grocery stores were a 20 min walk. The bedroom was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The living room had a couch and plenty of space to stretch out after a day of walking. The Capitol South metro stop was 5 min walk, and made it easy to get from and to the airport. I would definitely rent this place again.

The owners are nearby and available for any questions or issues. We had a wonderful stay with no issues at all. The property is surprisingly roomy for being in downtown. It's very clean and comfortable. You are right next to the Capoitol in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Neighbors we ran into outside we very friendly. Easy to walk to everything. We're already booked for our next stay!

My husband and I have stayed at this apartment twice. It is super convenient for visiting all the museums in the heart of DC.. There is a Trader Joe’s close by and there are bicycles to rent at both ends of the block!
