This spacious condo is in a quiet community with a beautiful golf course surrounding it. We loved the private deck and closeness of Purgatory resort for hiking and fishing. The unit was well maintained and stocked with grocery stores nearby in Durango. We did wish Durango was closer than the 20 minute drive, but the peaceful aspen and pine shelter around Tamarron made up for it on the warm summer days of our stay.

The neighborhood is gorgeous!!! Was very disappointed with the smoke odor having asthmatic family members, it never went away. The carpets were stained and each time a shower was taken upstairs, the fan in the lower bathroom leaked which was unsettling being an electrical fan. The TACO maintenance team came to look at it on a Friday, said they would come to fix on Monday when their supervisor was around and never heard from them again. The “clean towels” all had yellow and black stains on them. We had to go to store to purchase more. Very disappointed and will not stay at this unit again. I have photo documentation to prove all of this. Extremely unfitting for the neighborhood this unit was in.

Great location to ski slope and downtown Durango. Would definitely rent again.

Outstanding to be in the mountains.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The condo was very clean. We had everything we needed for a couple. It was nice to have enough parking for our vehicle plus trailer and motorcycle. It was a great location close to Durango. Loved all of the lighting with dimmer switches. Some of the light bulbs needed replacing but there was so much lighting it wasn't really a problem. The view of the wooded area was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed. The king-sized bed was comfortable. The downside was the really strong grease smell in the condo that never went away. I didn't contact Vacasa in the beginning because I figured it would go away. The over is very old and was a little greasy. It needs to be updated or thoroughly opened up and cleaned. I also noticed a smell from the kitchen and bathroom sink drains. I did notify vacasa of these issues before we left. The entire unit needs to be updated, but especially the living room and dining room furniture and the oven. But overall very clean, comfortable and convenient.

Terrible experience. Southwest cancelled our flights & called to speak with Vrbo & Vacasa & the host, could not get thru & no one would talk to me about my stay & no refund due to the crazy Southwest cancellation of flights. I’m so disappointed!

The rental process was super easy. Appreciated the split pay as well. The unit was big, had a murphy bed and was 2 minutes from Bear's Ranch. The check-in staff was beyond helpful and we appreciate the quiet. Gorgeous golf course and amenities. Grab your groceries before heading up the hill and enjoy the setting.
