The stay was GREAT!!! The only thing was in one of the room the ceiling was leaking but overall the stay was wonderful. the manger was very nice. we really enjoyed stay there. they everything we needed and more. Must do it again!!!!

Property is great for large groups but needs some work. Many of the rooms were warm because AC was not working… maintenance came out and needed to “order a part”. No balls for foosball or sand for the shuffleboard so don’t expect much out of the game room. Hot tubs don’t operate the way they should. Pool is run down.

This house proved to be all and more needed to hold this gathering. The rooms were spacious and all had king bed suites and two well equipped kitchens and a large game room for kids with plenty of bunk beds to accommodate them. You could get lost in this house

We could not have asked for much more. It was perfect for our large group. Each bedroom had a comfortable bed and soft linens, with baths en suite for plenty of privacy. Having 2 kitchens was also great for the different cooks and families. The kitchens were so nicely stocked with plenty of nice, (not the usual scratched Teflon junk,) dishes, pots and pans, although we had to buy more dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Wonderful property to walk around and discover, also. Thank you!

We held our large family reunion at this home. We had more than enough room for our family of 40+ and the small tikes really enjoyed watching their favorite Disney films in the amazing home theater. The small boys appreciated the expanse of room in the activity room to play with their trucks. All the adults enjoyed gathering in the living room to talk and relax. The community pool is down the hill from the house and was enjoyed by all. The only problems we encountered were that only one of the 2 hot tubs was working and we never did find the roll-away beds. With regard to those cots, I am certain that Eden Crest would have found us some if we had pressed the issue. All-in-all, this place was excellent for our large family and we are likely to return ever other year!

Held our family reunion this past weekend (Nov 13-16) and boy were we happy with our accommodations. Plenty of room to keep distance, bedrooms with attached baths roomy and clean, linens provided in great supply, two great kitchens, the game room, theater room; all were greatly enjoyed. We will return next year for sure. So much to see and do in the area.

The location and amenities of this property were perfect for our group. Lodge was clean and well stocked, however there is room for improvement on the maintenance side of things. The most noticeable thing was the Kitchen vinyl was ripped and pealing up right at staircase entrance which posed a serious trip hazard down the staircase to the lower level. Other than a few issues like this everything was perfect for our stay and I highly recommend it.

No HOT WATER on Monday or Tuesday and, garbage pickup was needed throughout the stay. when you have 50 people staying in the same place, daily garbage pick up is a must.

We had stayed here last year and was told that it was to be completely refurbished, but the only thing we saw was some new flooring and new refrigerators. We have had between 33 and 40 family members each time. The condition of the lodge is excellent. Each of us had our own private bed and bath. The property is clean well maintained. The customer service was excellent and prompt. I would recommend this location to any large group who wants to stay at one location. We enjoyed the activities provided by Eden Crest and all of the attractions near by.

However, if you are planning a trip during snow season please be aware. I was told that there is an HOA in this resort who would salt the roads for guest. This was NOT true during our visit. When we arrived we went to the front desk and asked about salting the roads before the snow came. They refused and only said they would salt our cabin sidewalks. They said they would only salt if the county enforced them to. Very disappointed because they had both the equipment and salt to help but chose to stay in their front office. We will go back, but I think you need to be prepared for this as a guest.

As a big group, we like this house. The upper level game room has an array of bunk beds, was a nice surprise. The overall house is clean. However, I think the property management team has some room to improve, especially in following areas, 1. Client Communication is very poor I was told that I will get the lock code on the day of arrival. I concerned I might not have a good signal if I am in the mountains so I called them for lock code, they told me they will send text message to my phone after 4pm. And they will call to confirm I receive this message. Until 6pm, I haven't received anything, so I have to call again to get the code. During our stay, it is also very difficult to reach the office and staffs. All I can do is to leave them voicemail. 2. Almost no response from the maintenance team On the first day, we have found some house maintenance issues, for example, all the light bulbs are out and leave the parking lot really dark. ( we have many cars parked there and we had a minor collision ) I left a voice mail report this issue, but receive no response in 24 hours. After that, I called again and reached the maintenance line, they said they got the voice mail and the maintenance order is in place. And John will be come to our unit that day. So we have someone waiting in our unit and wait for him, but he never showed up. And we have never seen anybody from the office during our stay. The only thing they did is that someone took the trash away after we report trash bins were full. 3. The check-in procedure says that we will receive some free tickets. I never seen the tickets during our stay. After I report the issue, someone call me and apologize for it, told me that there will be a person call me in a couple of days. And nobody called. If you just need a nice big house, close to smoky mountains, and have no expectation on house maintenance, this might be a good choic

Reviewer Comments: There were 33 in our Sunday School class who came to the retreat, this was the third time staying here. Obviously a lot of maintenance issues needed attention but I guess the situation that is going on with the facility now doesn't warrant itself to that. The most concerning thing was the septic system, tubs not draining well and commodes getting stopped up. There was raw sewage on top of the ground in the back. It is a great layout for our group and the location is great. I hope that it will fall into good hands and be improved upon. I was told the code would be sent to me at noon, it wasn't. I called at about 2:30 and they said it wasn't ready and would text to me. At 3:55 I had not heard from them and called and was given the code then. I would recommend as to the space and location but would hope some improvements are coming.

We took this property in lieu of two newer 4 bedroom cabins due to one of the owners decided to no longer rent their property with Eden Crest. Eden Crest offered this larger older motel/lodge type property. It worked well, but was older and had some downfalls. TV's worked but only one had cable, one washer was broken, game room was not as shown, showed two hot tubs but had none, beds were very hard and old. We had a great time and the property is located close to all the action of shopping and entertainment. No great views but works well with a large group.
