The property was beautiful. It has everything you need to enjoy a lake property (dock with deck and lounge chairs, kayaks and life vests) The bar area with the dart board and view of the lake was really nice! The deck off the house was wonderful with a full table, chairs and umbrella. We had a wonderful relaxing time!

Great house on the lake! The house was clean and had everything we needed. I recommend renting their pontoon boat for the day to explore Lake Norman.

We enjoyed this property very much. We did not enjoy the size or comfort of the beds. There should be more mirrors for us women and little bit more of a feminine touch is needed as far as comfort and lighting but other than that it really did the job!

We enjoyed our 4 day stay. The house has been nicely updated and the availability of the rental boat was great. Hosts were friendly and responsive.

We highly recommend using Zach's house for a vacation. We couldn't ask for a better experience. Zach and his Mom were wonderful with us. We recommend renting the pontoon while you are there. We had 3 of our younger grandchildren with us and they said they liked it better then a beach vacation. I wished we could have stayed longer.

Rented the house and a boat to go along with it for 6 adults over 4th of July week. House is “cozy,” very clean and had everything we needed for a great time. Had an air conditioning issue on the holiday, but owners were amazingly responsive and got it fixed right away! Terrific stay!

Great place! Very clean when we arrived, and there were lots of amenities. The bar in the backyard was the cherry on top. The lake makes for a very relaxing atmosphere, but there is also lots to do in the nearby Charlotte area. Definitely worth every penny. The owners take really good care of the place and do a very good job of making you feel welcome. It was definitely an above average experience for my group overall. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a place on the water.

Very quiet neighborhood. Not much passerby traffic since it’s a cul-de-sac. Everything at the house was very accommodating. We fished from the dock, and couldn’t keep the fish off our lines. It will be hard not to stay here again when returning to Lake Norman. We highly recommend this place!

The house was perfect and clean. The location was ideal! We spent a lot Of time at the kitchen table as a family. The boat was a a great bonus!

We were supposed to go to Hilton Head, the house we rented sold leaving us without a place to stay. We scrambled to find a new place and Zachary’s house popped up catching our eye. Hilton Head was always our family vacation destination, but we all quickly fell in love with Lake Norman. Zach and his dad Jeff were extremely accommodating. All of my kids and grandkids want to come back every year now. We had a fantastic time at this house. The owner and his father were wonderful to work with. Jeff checked in on us from time to time by text to make sure everything was running smooth with the boat and the property. I felt like we made a friend by the time we left. The house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, so with having four young grandkids it was nice for them to ride their scooters without worrying about traffic. Although the house was small for our group, we made it work and it served our needs well. I would 100% recommend staying here, we will be back. Gloria from Ohio

This house is fantastic for a quick weekend getaway. We went with family, including 3 adults, 2 teens and a 4 year old. The location on the lake is wonderful, with great fishing for the kids off the dock, and it’s close enough to restaurants and grocery stores so you’re not too out of the way. Zack was a gracious host and very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. I highly recommend renting his boat if you dont have one. While somewhat expensive for what you get, it’s hard to really enjoy the lake without it. There are also kayaks for getting out in the cove, which was nice as well. All in all, a lovely place.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our family. The boys loved fishing off the dock. They caught fish faster than we could take them off the line. Zack was very prompt when answering our questions. We will definitely be back!

The house was very clean and homey. Beautiful view out the back. Well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Owner answered any questions we had quickly.

Cottage was perfect for our family visiting college son for Family Weekend. 15 minute drive to/from Davidson College, close to anything you need (groceries, Costco, etc.). Property was as described, very clean, and had everything you needed to enjoy your time there. Would definitely stay again, hopefully next time to get on the water with boat and enjoy the lake! Zack accurately described his adorable lake house and the pictures were right on target! The decor to the linens/towels to the well-stocked kitchen to the outdoor amenities were all equally impressive. It is clear that he knows how to travel comfortably as there was nothing missing to make our stay comfy and relaxing. We loved the electronic locking system so we didnt need to keep track of keys. He had stocked an abundance of fluffy bath and beach towels...never worried of running out!! CLEAN AND ATTENTION TO DETAILS!! The outdoor dining area was perfectly situated and the dock sitting area had a dozen lounge chairs with soft bistro lights to enjoy the quiet nights. We rented Zack’s speed boat and had an absolutely spectacular day with friends and family on the water. He had about 8 pool noodles that we used when anchored in deep water and simply floated for hours together. We used his huge tube to pull the adults and kids alike....hilarious fun! Totally fitted with safety gear and cooler. Nice having 3 kayaks included with house bc there are so many coves to explore. Go and enjoy his oasis!!! Added bonus.....Neighbors were super friendly and shared tips for visiting the area.

In town for the USTA NC state championships. Stayed here for 4 nights with 8 girlfriends/teammates. We had a wonderful time! It was cozy, comfortable and clean. The home had everything you could think of that you would need as well. The outdoor spaces and additional bar area made it seem much bigger than it really was.... And with 8 women we never felt crowded. Zach was very good at communicating before and during our stay. We will be back if in the area again and would recommend this home. Thank you for your hospitality!

Loved it! Zack was quick to respond about availability, then he called as we arrived at the airport to make sure we were safely in town. The house is beautifully decorated; it is in a quiet neighborhood on a quiet cove. It is great to swim or kayak and the waterside deck was shady and great for reading and supervising the kids playing in the water. I enjoyed the covered front porch cooled by a ceiling fan. The location is really convenient for provisioning, dining and entertainment. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I hope Zack will have us back.

Nice lakeside dock with shade and adirondack chairs. We sat out there all day, swimming and kayaking with house kayaks.

We visited very last minute, after seeing several colleges with our high schooler. Zack was quick to answer questions, and helpful with local suggestions. Overall, not too big, not too small for our family of four, with two teenagers. Master has double/queen bed, rather small for middle aged parents. But we truly enjoyed our stay, despite the cold rainy weather, the accomodations were nice to come "home" to!
