We stay at the medium value place, but still a bed was as bad as a pull out couch. When a pool was closed for the day and we needed to get a keycard for a separate pool, nobody said they were sorry for inconvenience, just reminded us not to lose the card or they would charge us.Beach was great, and pools were nice when open.

Reviewer Comments: I did not like the long walk to the beach, especially with two small grandchildren, one of which had to be carried and the other wanted to be carried. There wasn't much of a view of the ocean, since the palm trees were in the way. The pool should have had umbrella's to help keep off the direct sun. I felt the amount that I paid was not totally worth what I expected. Don't get me wrong, the staff wee outstanding, and we enjoyed the restaurant. The unit was very clean when we left. Someone needs to go in and check out the kitchen. One frying pan needs to be replaced, don't want to eat teflon. The coffee maker is on the blink. I requested maintenance for the front door lock and squeeky doors, neither were taken care of. I requested the outside light by the front door to be replaced as it had burned out. This was done within 24 hrs and I appreciate that very much. The island was very pretty and the grounds are maintained very nice. The pool area very clean.

This year we rented two condos for one week to accommodate our children and grandchildren. The resort has an old Florida look and feel that we all like. It’s quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunset views and miles of uncrowded coastline. It looks like many of the units are being refurbished but one of ours was not. Resort were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and will be back again.

We stayed in unit 3522 which was very clean and a very nice unit. Would recommend the owner replace the washer and dryer with a full size unit. It would take up to two hours to dry a load of clothes and the lint trap kept falling out and getting tangled in the clothes. The washer is tiny and you could only fit two beach towels in there at a time. Also the vent in the guest bedroom had a piece of cardboard stuck in it and it would rattle when the AC would turn off and on. Otherwise, the staff was exceptional and our family had a wonderful time. It’s truly a special place!

It is a very relaxing location away from the over crowded hot spot spring beach locations. However, those locations are only a short drive away. It is a golf cart community with permanent, snow bird and vacationers. However, I have never met such nice people and staff. If you travel off property, you must keep the ferry / water taxi schedule in mind.

Our family of six was looking for some downtime to relax together and this place made that easy. The location is disconnected from the tourist hustle and bustle and gives you space to unwind. We enjoyed the empty beach, the warm pool and the condo balcony with a view! The condo was very comfortable and had all the accomodations we needed. The resort staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive. The resort grounds are nicely maintained and we enjoyed exploring on walks. We will definitely consider coming back here again soon.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were good size. Only issue with condo was the back porch smelled like pet urine when it rained (porch had a couch set not table and chairs) so we did not want to sit out there. A/C was noisy in the smaller room but didn't bother my son. We have stayed in Palm Island many times and we love this area. Private beach with no crowds is what we like. Overall this was a great stay...recommend renting bikes and touring the island.

It’s old for sure but nice new appliances in the kitchen. Really cute decor. I hammered it below because the furniture on the deck smelled so badly you could not use the deck at all. Gave us allergies.
