Our family (2 young children, my husband and I, and my Mother-in-Law) had an amazing week in this home. It was the perfect place for us and the neighbors are incredible. Access to the beach is super easy and even though it is a private beach you are not alone which is great. We had everything we needed and Jack was so easy to communicate with. We didn't need anything during our stay but I knew he was just a text away if we did. Traveling with kids is not always the easiest but being here felt like a home away from home. We hope we can come back next year but if not we will defintely try to come back as soon as we can get it booked. Whatever kind of trip you need this is a place to rest, relax and enjoy beautiful South Haven. Seriously, I can't rave about how much we loved it enough!

The property location with easy access to the private beach was amazing. Jack is a wonderfully attentive host and all our young family needs were more than met. We had the best Lake Michigan summer vacation yet. The north side beaches are more chill so if that’s what you’re looking for, this place is hard to beat!

I was in town for some business and had a family gathering as well. Had a little confusion at check in but owner Jack resolved issue immediately and the rest of the stay was perfect. Thanks Jack.

This home is even better than the pictures. It is very clean and has had updated floors, paint and furniture. The view was beautiful!! The host was very communicative and provided entry instructions well in advance. I highly recommend this rental!!

This was a really spacious home with a great layout. We communicated a lot with the owners who were incredibly responsive. Overall we had a fantastic trip. The beach was beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. Something to note about this property is that it’s a shared association and your front porch faces 8 other homes with a large shared yard. I didn’t initially pick up on that via the pictures although it’s in the description. The pictures make it seem more secluded than it actually is. This wasn’t a problem overall for us, just something to make note of if you’re looking for more privacy. Again, we had a great stay and we were close enough to walk to the pier and downtown and the coffee shop down the road, not to mention being so close to Meijer. I’d highly recommend the rental.

We loved everything about our stay in South Haven on Lake Michigan. Best location. Roomy home. Everything we needed was there and more.

From the large deck, suitable for dining and lounging or the spacious kitchen or the family room - the direct view of Lake Michigan and the private beach area can’t be beat. Roomy house is clean and functional for a full family. Host is extremely responsive and generous with furnishing ample good quality towels and even toiletries. We come back with kids and grandkids year after year and think of it as our vacation house.

The location is good. Since we were indoors in november with 4 adults we found the seating very uncomfortable and the lighting in the sitting area very poor for reading. I would not stay here again because of this. Also the mattresses upstairs are thin foam and not good for us.

The perfect place for a family beach vacation. We enjoyed the sunroom and deck with a view of Lake Michigan, as well as the communal decks right on the beach, which are perfect for taking in the sunsets. The furnishings were more updated than the photos showed, so that was a nice surprise. Master bedroom bed is great, other beds are good. The owners are great—very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall the place was very nice. It was a 2 hour drive to a nice beach house where we could relax.

This house is clean, lovely, and in a fantastic location! The access to the beach is easy and the beach itself is very nice. We enjoyed not having to fight for parking at the public beaches and having such a short distance to the water. The hosts were very responsive when needed. Air and appliances all worked well. This house exceeded all of our expectations and we had a wonderful vacation here. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our third visit to the property and it just gets better each time! All new flooring looks great and is easy to keep clean. The owner/host is just the best at communicating and making it easy to enjoy the property. My favorite view of Lake Michigan is from the huge deck here. Can’t wait to return.

Short jaunt to very sandy, expansive beach and panoramic views & sizzling sunsets 'til your hearts content. 🌅 It's convenient to everything on North Beach, Marina's and Downtown SoHa. Go down the street in the morning for Bunde's Bakery coffee & cinnamon bread (go early to beat the crowds!!) - Overall comfortable place. Could use larger main TV & a 2nd, but not a deal breaker. Nice beach ⛱vacay spot!

Our family enjoyed our stay on Lake Michigan. Neighbors were friendly and courteous. The house was comfortable.
