House was well equipped with everything you would need. Great location and easy walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and private back yard. Beds and living room furniture need updating.

A very comfortable, up to date home with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, lanai area and pool. The televisions and high speed internet worked very well and the owner, Dawn, was very pleasant and responsive to our needs.

The place is nicely decorated, the owner is very responsive, the fenced dog yard is a big plus, the perfect-temperature pool is shaded much of the time by towering palms and the kitchen is super-modern. It is a bit of a schlep to walk to the beautiful mostly deserted beach for us older folk and I would have liked to have a card table or desk to work on, but for folks wanting a quiet, pretty house away from the more touristed area, we and our dogs highly recommend this.

Great location close to the beach and the home has a comfortable layout. Fenced in yard is a real plus for pets.

Love Sanibel! The house is beautiful, beach close and beautiful, great pool, close to Ding Darling, great for bike riding, owner wonderful.

We stayed at SeaTulip during April and May 2017 and returned for April and May 2018. From the minute we entered the house, we felt like we had returned home. Our two Frenchies 'said' when we walked in ... "hey, we know this place!" and headed for the pool area. Frank and Dawn upgraded some of the electronics and appliances since our last stay, which was of course appreciated. But the overall feelings were of a high level of emotional and physical comfort. Any questions we had that were addressed to Dawn were addressed immediately. We went to the Tesoro restaurant for dinner for the first time, and will return for sure whenever we are on Sanibel - it was fabulous. The Sunday market is another weekly event we try not to miss. The house was great. Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, appliances, bikes, beach chairs, towels. Couldn't think of anything else. The location was great. So close to Ding Darling, we biked there often. And the beach was perfect. Can't wait to go back next year.

The house is just a quick, scenic stroll to the private beach! We had the beach to ourselves as far as the eye could see, but the kids enjoyed walking down the beach to have lunch at West Wind Inn and meet other youngsters (while we still got our peace and quiet)! We spent every afternoon in the private, screened in pool! Perfect spot to cool off and take in the natural Sanibel vegetation. The whole house looks straight out of Better Home and Gardens - completely renovated, clean and homey! The beds were SO comfortable and we loved having a fully equipped kitchen to make meals when we weren't at our favorite restaurants. Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing month in Sanibel! This lovely home is located on the quiet rabbit road. The house is a short walk to the beach, and the beach wagon in the garage made it easy for us to haul our coolers and chairs. The house has a secluded pool, great for cooling off in the afternoons. The patio furniture was new, high end, and extremely comfortable. I had no problem laying outside for hours reading my books. Inside, the house was equipped with modern appliances and electronics. The kitchen was fully stocked and suited all our cooking needs. All the beds and furniture were exceptionally comfortable. We highly recommend staying here!

May 31, 2017 We have been coming to Sanibel for a number of years now, but decided to bring our dogs this year, and rented this property for the first time, for April and May. We found the house to be exactly as advertised, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture and beds thoughout. We spent many hours at the pool every day and found the privacy and tranquility at the back of the property to be ideal. We also gave the grill a good workout most days. Dawn was very responsive when we contacted her for assistance a couple of times. The proximity to the beach was a bonus, allowing easy access for frequent long beach walks, shelling and close encounters with interesting sea dwellers (dolphins, rays). Occasionally we went out for meals, our favorite dinner location is The Sand Bar just up West Gulf a short distance. We also enjoyed Timbers, Island Cow and Matzaluna. We spent the month of January in this home and loved the location. The heated pool is a big bonus and we enjoyed taking a dip almost everyday. The beds are so comfortable and bathrooms are nicely updated. We used beach chairs, carts, beach towels and bikes almost everyday. The only slight disappointment was the furniture out by the pool. There was only one lounge chair and the other chairs were not that comfortable for relaxing.

Super place to stay

After a busy summer in Michigan, my family kept counting the days until we could hit the beach on our FAVORITE island...Sanibel Island! We have stayed at a couple of hotels and resorts on Sanibel before, but we hate the crowded pools and noise at certain times of the day and night. What a great decision we made renting this immaculate home with a private pool and amazing kitchen! The short stroll from the house to the secluded beach was a joy. The owners supply a beach wagon that held our cooler, chairs, and everything else we needed to spend quiet hours on the beach. The only things to interrupt our conversations would be the dolphins, manatees and jumping fish just off shore! We got awesome pictures of the beautiful ospreys and pelicans as they would glide past us and nose dive into the Gulf! We always look forward to the wonderful choices of restaurants on Sanibel and Captiva, but loved the well equipped kitchen at the house and the gas grill for days when we just wanted to relax around the pool or a walk back from the gorgeous sunsets. I promise we are renting this again if available!!! Thanks to Dawn for providing the best vacation home on Sanibel!!!

Great home! Owner is wonderful to rent with. Stocked with everything you could possibly need. Short walk to the beach. Any and all beach equipment in the garage with cart for easy transport! We have stayed multiple times and plan to stay again in the future!

Rabbit Road is wonderful! What a perfect place to enjoy the gulf, play with family and friends, eat amazing cuisine and spend leisurely days catching up on me-time. Dawn and Frank make sure the property is well maintained with everything you need at your fingertips. We lacked for nothing on our trip in June, the kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of linens, boardgames to play, Wi-Fi, books, tv and bikes. There is even a beanbag toss game, which we enjoyed in the backyard! Our favorite past-times were riding bikes everyday on the easily accessible bike trails, swimming in our private pool was a treat as well, and trying the different amazing restaurants rounded out most of our days. It was so nice to wake up and do nothing, cook a wonderful breakfast, walk on the beach, see a movie intown, play a board game...whatever we chose. The only downside was...the month went by too quickly! Thank you Dawn and Frank for such a remarkable experience! I hope to make Sanibel a frequent stop for vacations.

I have stayed on Sanibel Island several times over the years. This year was my favorite visit yet. My wife and I usually stay at a resort, but we decided we wanted the privacy of a rental home this January. We were hesitant at first choosing a home being rented by owners, but the experience could not have better. Our concerns and questions were always answered quickly and to our satisfaction. For example, the underwater pool light burnt out and the owners had the pool company replace it the next day! This home is in a perfect location for everything. We were a short walk to the best beach on the island with amazing sunset views and countless beautiful shells and wildlife. After fun days at the beach, we would come back for cocktails in the screened, tropical, heated pool. The house is tastefully decorated, updated and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. You will find plenty of pillows, high-quality sheets, extra blankets, and beach towels. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, an electric wine opener and large refrigerator. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage, where we stored all our beverages. For coffee lovers, the kitchen has a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig Coffee Maker! The dining table is large enough for six to enjoy dinners we made at home and lots of prep area on the most beautiful granite slab I have seen. Bathrooms are top of the line with great water pressure and exquisite Travertine tile in the master bathroom, over-sized shower. We cannot wait to return to this island gem!

The most relaxing month of my life just ended after our family spent May on Sanibel in this fabulous home on the quiet side of the island. While it was hard to leave the wonderful beach every day, we had the heated pool to look forward to for more relaxing times! The owners provided bikes for exploring the island, coolers, chairs and a handy beach wagon for all our supplies at the beach. The tropical landscaped grounds provided privacy and is tranquil. We especially like the one-level living...no steps to get to the pool or to our car. The home is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. This was the perfect location to stay on Sanibel. Quiet, yet convenient to both Sanibel and Captiva. Very private beach. The house was large, very clean with great amenities. Nothing beats coming home from the beach and taking a dip in the pool. The owners provided everything from beach items, chairs, shelling accessories kayak, bikes, just to name a few. After searching different properties, I made the best decision when I rented this house. Thanks so much !!
