We were there for my sisters wedding and had problems with our fights, but our host was amazing and so easy to communicate with! Great space, the location was perfect for walking!

We loved this house. It had four bedrooms, two of which could be 2 twins or a king. It was SO close to the Gap, to Bliss Cafe, and also 1/4 mile to walk in the other direction to get a bus. Very clean and safe neighborhood. Bedrooms have AC that are individually controlled. We would come again.

This is our 4th vacation in Dover. Great location. 5 minute walk to several beautiful beaches. House is perfect for a two week stay. Lots of space. The house has a nice backyard spot to enjoy eating meals and relaxing after a day at the beach. ( and a little bit of yoga if your up for it!)

Our family of 7 seniors stayed at southern marsh for 5 days prior to a cruise . The property was well located for beaches and restaurants and the property more than adequately met our needs . Clean and well equipped and check in was easy . Communication with the owners was excellent and I would fully recommend it to any travellers .

Superb property in the gap but just far enough removed to not be bothered by late night parties. Owners and housekeeper were excellent, couldn’t do enough for us even during storm Dorian. Would highly recommend and use again. Big thank you to Sandy and Dawn

A group of 5 went to Barbados to celebrate my birthday and we had an incredible time! The home exceeded our expectations! Safe, spotless, welcoming, modern, spacious...this house had it all. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and "the gap". where we found restaurants, bars, shops, etc. We even got to watch the Raptors at a local spot and then the victory parade on Monday. We all agree, we'll be back to Southern Marsh. A special note: Dawn, the property manager is fantastic!

We were extremely happy staying at "Southern Marsh". The property is beautiful and clean, well furnished with a very large kitchen and lovely patio and yard. Fabulous location and an exceptionally well equipped property Due to severe weather before we arrived there were problems with comms however these were dealt with very promptly. Would definitely come back, home from home. Visit from the monkey troop an added bonus

MY daughters and a few girlfriends came for a week for my 50th Birthday. The house was lovely. We enjoyed breakfast and evening on the back patio. It was quiet but also only a stones throw away from the Gap so we could go out when we wanted. Only 2of our group had been to Barbados. But now the rest of us are planning our next vacation and fighting over who gets the house. Xoxo. Thanks for letting us enjoy your lovely home

Southern Marsh was a great property, it was well cared for, clean, and beautifully furnished. It was an easy walk to several beaches, but still located in a quieter area of the Gap. The property owner and manager were easy to communicate with and very flexible. I would strongly recommend staying here!

I've rented this beautiful home for 9 nights as I was going to be celebrating my 50th with my siblings and other family members. Sandy the owner and Brian the property manager are very accommodating. My family loved the house and could not stop talking about it, everything about this home is beautiful. I had a conversation with Sandy and also sent her a family picture of who would be occupying her home, so that her mind would be at ease. I am originally from Guyana and lived in Canada for nearly 30 and was very happy to have found this home. Sandy a total of 27 of us was able to surprise my sister that's living in Barbados, and that has made my 50th a smashing day. In a heartbeat I would recommend your home to anyone visiting Barbados, I know I will be back. Thank you for renting your home to me and my family from Aug 11-20, 2017. Loved it! Staying at the Marshalls was an absolutely fabulous experience. 8 of us stayed on the week of July 02 and the place was perfectly spacious enough and very comfortable. House is very well equipped and Brian the manager was very helpful when we had issues. We definitely recommend this house.

We found the location ideal for the beaches, a five minute walk to the nearest. Also within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants, bars and shops, but not too close for any noise issues. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious, the living / dining and kitchen area was well furnished and equipped to suit our needs. We loved sitting on the patio at the back, watching the birds visit the beautiful garden. Brian met us at the property on our arrival, and was most welcoming and informative in respect of the house and surrounding area. We loved Barbados and found the people warm and welcoming and very laid back. We hopefully will return in the near future and would look forward to staying at Southern Marsh again.

Excellent location, easy walk to nice beach, restaurants and stores. Also, very close to bus route, to allow for easy moving around the island. The house had all the amenities of home, nice to have laundry facilities. Would not hesitate to come back to Southern Marsh on our next trip.

Excellant location. Near amenities and the beach, yet far enough away to be quiet. An excellent well equipped home. Very clean. The owner was very pleasant and helpful before arrival, as were the hosts after arrival. Large family home. We were 9 people and with the addition of 2 rollaway cots for the kids, everyone was very comfortable. We would come here again with no hesitation. Thanks for a great stay.

It was a pleasure working with the Owner Sandy. She was very professional and welcoming. The property manager Brian was also a pleasure once we arrived to the house. This was my first time to Barbados and I wanted the feel of being home away from home. My family and I came down for a wedding and I needed a place that can hold 7 of us comfortably. The house was very modern and spacious. It also came fully equipped with everything we needed from pots and pans, to laundry detergent, beach towels and even bug spray. If you forgot anything at home, don't worry I guarantee it was already here at the house. Besides the house being wonderful, the location was perfect. Being in Lawrence Gap was close to all the nice restaurants, local bars and beaches. I would recommend this place to anyone and would not mind staying here again. Danelle H

Words cannot express how beautiful this home is. The owners have included everything you would need when vacationing. Sandy,Brian and Allen were wonderful. It is perfect location, close to so many attractions. We will be referring and rebooking with Sandy again.

House was everything as described and more. Close to beaches, market and the Gap. Highly recommended for family or group of couples.

Our stay at Southern Marsh totally exceeded all expectations, firstly the property itself was very open and spacious and comfortably housed a family of 7, and was exactly as what was listed if not more. There were many nice small touches which clearly have been well thought out by the owners including the providing of beach towels, a Netflix account on the tv and even provisions for tea and coffee. Sandy (The Owner) was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after our stay and along with the property manager Brian they comfortably dealt with all our needs. The property itself is in a perfect location, at the end of the road you have a local convenience store which is open till 10pm, there is also an ATM and the beach is less then 5 mins walk all in a safe neighbourhood. For local entertainment along with bars etc the St Lawrence Gap is a short walk from the property. I would definitely recommend Southern Marsh to anyone looking for a great rental home in Barbados and next time I am in Barbados I will be sure to stay here. Thanks for a great stay! This villa is just as the pictures show, absolutely beautiful with everything you need and more. It is a spacious villa situated close to shops, beaches and nightlife. I travelled with a large group for my 40th birthday and had a couple of villas, however 8 of us stayed at Sandy Marsh and we had a wonderful stay, the owners have left no stone unturned and provide everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable, I honestly cannot think of a negative thing to say. The property owner Sandy is truly a diamond and was ever so helpful, she provided support and information right from the word go and throughout the holiday, which believe me is not done by everyone! I would highly recommend this villa...you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be booking Sandy Marsh whenever I return to Barbados, just love this place!!!! x
