The host, Arnie, was amazing to deal with, super fast responses. The location of the condo was perfect, walk to everything. Condo was clean and as pictured. Will stay again!

It was a perfect location & spacious! The pools are so nice & the dock to the ocean is wonderful. We had 4 kids ages 12-16 and they loved it too! Also huge benefit is it’s right by the grocery store. We had issues with the AC & they can right away to fix! Wonderful stay, highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay at El Cantil! When checking in, they told me they weren’t expecting anyone- didn’t have any key cards ready. Had to go back down to receive them. Small inconvenience- for a great week.

This condo is pretty much perfect. 4 amazing bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a stunning ocean view. Great location and both the property manager and owner were great to communicate with, and accommodating. Highly recommend! You will be glad you stayed here.

Remarkably large and comfortable place to stay. No one ever felt unsafe or uncomfortable in any way. The doormen and the housekeeper were all extremely nice and helpful. They were the best. Arnie, the host was very informative and responsive. The snorkeling immediately in front was so much fun, we did that almost every day. We appreciated the large cotton beach towels provided. The property has a convenient dock for boats. Fresh water rinsing stations near the pool made cleaning and drying diving equipment simple and secure. The grocery was a very short walk away and the apartment was convenient to a number of good places to eat out. The clothes washer and dryer were a god send. The apartment has a water filtration system at the kitchen sink for drinking water which I used to make coffee. However, the water was a tad distasteful for drinking and so we resorted to buying bottled water instead. This became a bit cumbersome as carrying water for 8 people every day became a physical challenge and eventually a time consuming distraction in an otherwise perfect experience. I wish the owner would have provided a bottled water dispenser. There's plenty of room for one. However, I would stay here again regardless and I highly recommend it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our brief 8-day stay and we can't wait to come back. Thanks Arnie for everything.

It was amazing. We lived every minute of it. My only complaints would be the park next door to the condo. The condo needs some type of shade for the living room area to block the evening sun .

Loved our stay here. Plenty of room for 4 groups. Clean and maid service a plus. Only a 20 minute walk to town center, but some shops and restaurants nearby. TWO big grocery stores very short walk away. Loved having an evening swim in the enormous pool...for relaxation and star gazing! Miss it already. Only issue... we had a question, and couldn't get the management phone numbers listed in their book to work. So not sure what was going on there. Would still 100% stay here again. The staff are all nice and helpful. Door man helps insure safety, too. Snorkeling right off condo was great. Saw puffer fish, parrot fish, Mexican reef stingray, and many others!

We had a great week. Property is beautiful and spacious, exactly as listed. The condo is well stocked with everything we needed. Staff were all very nice and helpful, cleaning staff did a great job. Very conveniently located with a grocery store across the street for anything you need.

This VRBO was one of the best we have ever stayed in! The owner was great to work with and the staff were fantastic. The location was perfect, with the best grocery store just one block away. We had a wonderful time with our family!

We loved our stay here. Bedrooms were super spacious and we had plenty of space for our kids and a set of grandparents. We used the kitchen several times for meals and really enjoyed ourselves.
It was Carnaval — so we had an amazing view of the parades and festivities — but it was loud so be sure to check those dates if noise is difficult for you. Great to be close to the action and town. Super walkable to delicious restaurants, ice cream, and grocery stores. Loved the pool and ocean access. We loved the view from the deck and watching the cruise ships dock. Will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Cozumel. The photos are exactly as we found the condo. The unit is spacious, spectacular views of the beautiful ocean, pool and hot tub below are heated and very taken care of. We also enjoyed snorkeling just steps from the pool area as well. The condo location itself is perfect. We walked from the main Ferry dock, stopped for a drink and snack along the way in town. Two large grocery stores are both steps away from the condo. Restaurants as well. We will definitely be back and can't wait to stay here again.

This condo is fantastic! So much space for our group of friends. The location to groceries, restaurants and sights is perfect. We walked everywhere. Other than missing a few small items in the kitchen (tongs, oven mitts and pot holders), we made wonderful meals with the local foods. Loved our stay and highly recommend.

Great property and staff. Good snorkeling. Nice heated pool and hot tub. Great views at sunset. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and cabs.Noisy around Carnaval as the party is in the plaza across the street, but that's beyond anyone's control. Loved the site and looking to come back.

This is an Awesome Condo with an Amazing View, Really, I can't say enough how nice it is. It has lots of room, and the outdoor balcony is where we spend all our time.
The Pool is Really Nice, and it's warm :) Do not take any drinks in glass down.
Avoid talking to the permanent's they verge on being rude, just not friendly at all, you will know who they are. Being a Southern boy I can talk to anyone well F Them people LOL.
The Facility Staff is Super Nice to Help when Needed "Guys in Red Shirts"
The Housekeeper is Super Sweet; she keeps the Condo Very Clean.
Helpful tip, take an HDMI Cable with you, in case you have a rainy day, you can use your laptop to watch Netflix.
Try Rock n Java for Breakfast it's nice, out the front to the Left/North about a block...Pass on Jeanie's it used to be good, :( new cook and well it not worth wasting $ on sad as the view is really nice.
We Love Cozumel, and knew this was going to be the Perfect Location It is, you can walk to just about everything, and getting a cab is Super Easy if needed.
Good to know for Nexbies you are right in between MEGA & Chedraui Grocery Stores 5 nim walk, the nice liquor store is across from MEGA.
Check out the No Name Bar :) Great for Afternoon Dip, Snack & Drink.

We spent a great week in Cozumel at El Cantil. The staff was very friendly. The location is within walking distance to many great shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and bars.
We spent a good amount of time snorkeling right at the resort. There was plenty to see close by!
The pool was fabulous! We met so many friendly people at El Cantil.
The condo was spacious and well talen care of. The cleaning crew was amazing. The condo was well stocked.
There were 6 adults in our group. Everyone had a great time and would stay again!

This was the perfect property for our group of 7 women on retreat. Security and Safety were never an issue and all were comfortable in the spacious common spaces. Very useful to have private bathrooms within every bedroom and an extra 1/2 bath powder room. We loved the views from the large balcony and easy access to beach space, pools and nearby liquor and grocery stores.

This condo was a perfect location for our recent visit to Cozumel -- pre-trip communications were very professional. Check-in was flawless. All the staff at El Cantil, security to housekeeping, were very kind and helpful. Easy walk to local restaurants, also easy to get cabs for excursions. The condo was clean and well appointed, the view was great, as was the pool on site. Looking forward to returning.

The condo is amazing, very comfortable accommodations for 8 adults and 1 toddler. I’m hoping to make this an annual tradition for our family!

This is one place that the pictures were no exaggeration. Lot's of room. The door men were helpful each time we needed a cab. The staff kept the pool area clean! We loved watching the cruise ships come and go every day. The location was right between the 2 main ports. We were within one block of a grocery store! We'd walk down to local restaurants each day or stay in have meals. Some of the best snorkeling was done right off the pool area.

Stayed here for a week in June with family. The location was perfect for us. Close to two markets and walking distance to lots of shops. The unit we stayed in was perfect for our group of 8 and Arnie was so wonderful in timely responses to all our pre-trip questions. The property itself was well maintained and secure. Guards were very courteous and attentive. The waterfront pool and beaches were clean and never crowded which made it feel so private. And of course, the diving in Cozumel is the highlight of most trips and having dive operators pick you up on the dock was so convenient. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to book this one again.

We had a great time, and the VRBO had a lot of great, useful amenities. The toasrer oven, & Smoothie blender was our favorite in the kitchen. We liked how there was a lot of useful kitchen pots and pans, utensils to be used and plenty of chairs inside and outside to use as well on the patio. In the back room the window blind does not close all the way, so wakes you up in the morning, some of the ceiling fans are very loud from rust, from the sea air close by which were hard to use and decided to not use them because of the loud noise. Some of the faucets needed to be replaced from rust from Sea Air in the bathrooms. Overall nice time, we liked how the dive shop could pick us up from the dock close by and didn't have to go anywhere, great pools for all ages, Spa on Deck was helpful to be so close, the main jacuzzi down by the pool was extremely hot and I think they finally adjusted it by the time we were leaving.

We have been to Cozumel 25 times in the last 15 years and love it. This condo was fantastic and perfect for our group of 9. It was very clean, with comfortable beds (which is hard to find in Mexico). The location near 2 grocery stores was very convenient since we had 3 kids in our group. Communication before the booking with the owner and then while we were there with the property manager was exemplary. Highly recommend this condo.

The unit is just beautiful, with a terrace looking towards the sunset (although we chose to watch from the horizon pool!). It was very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out. Housekeeping came every other day, and we had Karla, the private chef, come twice during our 2 week stay, and she cooked up wonderful Mexican food we enjoyed for days. The Aldora dive boat picked us up right out front; two supermarkets were easy walking distance, and downtown about a 10 minute walk. It could not have been a nicer place!

The condo was nice and clean and convenient walking distance to downtown. Having the unit offer cleaning/maid service during the week was awesome. The air conditioner/fan had loud noises to it while running but nothing we couldn't get past. All in all, everything was great!

Conveniently located condo with plenty of space for family with a huge balcony overlooking pool and ocean. Eve was very responsive and helpful with any request. She also helped coordinate a chef. Karla prepared an exceptional Mexican meal for our family. The 24/7 security staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady was meticulous and cleaned three times during our week stay. Our family ranked this vacation very high on our list. Thank you!

The location of the VRBO was conveniently central for grocery shopping, restaurants, pharmacy and ATMs.
The VRBO was pleasantly spacious for the 10 of us.
Housekeeping was so sweet and accommodating.
Arnie was very friendly and answered all my inquiries in a timely manner.
We were there for a retirement trip and my son-in-law told me we had nailed it!

What a great spot. The apartment was huge with a bathroom in every bedroom. The view was beyond fantastic. We were five minutes from the two major groceries stores. The place was very clean and having a hot tub on the deck is always a bonus. 5 stars all the way

We (7 adult relatives) stayed in this apartment for 5 days this November. It is very convenient to town and the ferry, situated right on the beach with lovely views. The apartment is spacious and has a large kitchen. The maid was very sweet and did a great job, and the manager was very friendly and responsive. The pools were wonderful and warm. We had a great stay and would do it again.

We had a wonderful stay at El Cantil. The condo is very spacious and well appointed, and the view is to die for. With short walks to two grocery superstores, it was a beeeze to stock up everything we needed. Restaurants, bars and shopping are also within walking distance. The location is fantastic. Arnold was very responsive and easy to work with. The property manager was very responsive as well. Loved the every other day cleaning and laundry service. The pool/beach area is beautiful and never had more than a handful of people during our late August visit. Great snorkeling just off the rocky beach. We will be back.
