We were pleased with the location and property. The only concern we encountered was ants in the kitchen sink and also a roach. The other issue was my husband woke up with possible spider bites on his left side. Other than those encounters everything was wondeful. We also noticed that there were some vents missing on the front of house, if you are not aware.

Six of us stayed overnight. Including our grandchild for my wife's birthday weekend. Several friends showed up during the day for a barbecue and cake and a campfire by the fishing dock. It was an excellent stay in an excellent home in an excellent area. We were able to dock a boat and get out on the lake also. We absolutely will stay here again.

I don’t even know where to start. This was an amazing stay. The house was very clean. The view was stunning. My dad did not want to come in from the screened in patio or dock. The owner is extremely polite and professional. No complaints at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our kids and grandkids. The house had everything we needed and the location was excellent. On a nice, quiet cove perfect for swimming and relaxing. A hidden gem.

This rental is located in a quiet neighborhood along high rock lake. Upon driving up to the rental the exertion looked very well taken care of, there was plenty of parking. Candace was great to communicate with, timely and very sweet. We had no problem getting into our rental. Everything looked and smelled clean inside, Beds we’re okay, but I know beds vary from person to person, so this was just our personal review, they seemed a bit hard. The hallway bathroom toilet was very tippy and we did notify Candace the property manager she thanked us. Shower pressure was amazing! The screened in porch looked very relaxing but we didn’t have time to enjoy it because we were busy with a friends wedding. everything was communicated wonderfully with us, we would definitely come back again.

Property was nice and spacious, enough beds for my adult sons and 2 grandsons. Great time fishing and spending time together. We had rain for 2 days, so we were inside a lot but had plenty of room. The neighbors that we came in contact with were polite and respectable. The floating part of the dock needs some repair but overall, everything was great. Looking forward to doing another weekend with my boys next year and if this place is available, we will be back.

Had a great time! Lots of space, dock was nice had plenty of cleats to tie up,screened in porch was nice at night. Some of the yard on the drive way could be leveled up so that there is not a drop off. Trailer slipped off the driveway when pulling in the driveway. Overall had a great time

A few friends and I take a fishing trip every year and this year we went to High Rock Lake. The house is much bigger inside than it looks and was nicely appointed. We screwed up and locked ourselves out one day, but the host was very gracious and found a way to get us back in. The driveway was nice, but careful of the drop offs. Couple of guys in the group did some minor damage to their vehicles/trailers due to the steep concrete drop offs. Honestly, it would've been better just to leave the driveway gravel, rather than having the steep concrete drop offs, but it is what it is.

Me and my family stayed here for the week and had a blast. It was right on the lake, the kids fished and swam all week. Fire pit right by the lake. Amazing sunset/sunrise views. Definitely will come back again.

Great location. In a quiet cove on the lake. Nice size house, plenty of parking and nice walkway to lake. We had a great time. Perfect place for standup paddleboard and kayaking as there is little traffic in the cove. We used the firepit for cooking and s'mores even though it was a very hot week. Had our boat and enjoyed fishing. It would have been nice to have a fan mounted on a post on the deck. It was a very hot week and very little breeze if any at all. There are some things that need some attention such as spider webs on deck which in a minor concern. Checking drawers in bedrooms. There was a shirt and shorts in the master bedroom drawer below the TV. Still there. POSSIBLE LIABILITY CONCERNS FOR FUTURE RENTALS: 1. Hole in the middle of the pier walkway which had been covered up by upside down planter. In a previous review june 5 2022 2. Upon arrival, we checked the grill. Grill was VERY dirty The grease dripping pan on grill was completely full. It looked like it had overflowed onto the grill mat. The soffit over the grill is blackened and warped, indicating there had possibly been a previous grease fire. Prior to using we cleaned out a pound of dried crust not counting the full grease dripping pan that we also emptied. Grill and grease dripping pan should be checked and cleaned between each rental to prevent a serious accident. 3.The master bed has paint cans under the bed rail that appear to be a makeshift support on the side closest to the dresser!!! Why? 4. The sofa bed in the sitting room off the master appears to be in sad condition. We did not use or even sit on it. In a previous review june 5 2022 5. The flooring looks great however there are several soft spots throughout the house where there may be a support issue. One in particular is about a foot to the left of the vent in kitchen on the island side.

We stayed here as a family reunion fun spot. Everyone really enjoyed the firepit area and the dock. Overall it was great but they could improve a few things. There was a hole/repairs needed in the dock that were just covered by an upside down planter. The sleeper sofa is pretty old and uncomfortable and needs replaced, and all the comforters looked worn and stained. Other than that, we really had no complaints. Bring some floating tubes and fishing rods and have a great time on the water.

Accommodations were great with 4 bedrooms. The house is spacious. The screened in porch is great! Location is great.

We had an excellent weekend at this property.
