We absolutely loved this house. The location is wonderful and the owners thought of everything! We hope to be back!

Where do I begin with this incredible home? To start, the heated pool and large seating area outside were truly amazing! Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the pool!! It was nice to have an outdoor shower for washing off sand from beach. We loved that everything was so clean and beautifully decorated inside the home. From the big sliding doors to the high ceilings on the main second level, it gave a very open feeling. The elevator was great for carrying suitcases and groceries up to the second and third floors. Having a laundry on the ground floor and another on the second floor was a good idea. The provided beach towels were in constant use! We slept well in the comfortable beds and enjoyed games on the large lanai off the living room. This home was a perfect choice for our family of 11, and I highly recommend it to others!

Delighted to return to this beautiful house - we love everything about it. Great location, immaculately furnished and catered for all needs. Looking forward to returning already!

We have stayed in many houses in Captiva and this is a great one. The house is off the main drag, but close enough to be within easy walking distance of everything. The house was well-equipped with everything you would need for a vacation. We rented golf carts, which i highly recommend. The house itself is very nice. The walk-in floor has two rooms (one of which is a bunk room); the main floor (second floor) also has two rooms; and the top floor has the master. The backyard has a nice pool, but no hot tub. There is also a ping ping table. We could not find any balls for it, but we were able to buy some at the store. We also bought a lot of pool toys, which we left behind for others to use. The house had clearly been rented out for a bit before our arrival, so there were some things that were a bit run down, but that is expected for a rental house and it in no way deterred us from enjoying the house. There is also a nest camera in the front of the house (over the garage) and in the backyard (overlooking the pool). The backyard camera is covered with a sock. Most important, the house facilitated our family being together and we had a great time. Really appreciate it!

The house is amazing! Clean, well stocked kitchen. The pool area was fantastic. We swam and played ping pong. The outdoor shower was great to rinse off all the sand. I am hoping to rent this place again. Would highly recommend!!!

We arrived on Saturday 8/17 it had been raining so it was ok since we had arrived into Fort Myers at 2:30pm and had an hour drive to the house. Upon arriving we were all pleasantly surprised that it was exactly as pictured and then some!! Beautiful beachy decor!! Since Covid we had not seen our Florida kids & grandkids in more than a year!! We all met on the beach and enjoyed each other’s company. This trip almost didn’t happen since 6 days before the trip my Dad who has Alzheimer’s was admitted to the hospital where we live in Vermont. I care for him along with my mom. So I was happy when a bed was found for a respite visit. So you see this vacation was a really needed vacation!! Your home gave us the tranquility we needed with the action our grandkids and adult kids needed! We swam everyday in the pool!! We went parasailing!! To the ocean almost every day!! Seadooing!!! To a water park !!! And every night walked to the ice cream shop!! We took turns cooking every night so no one made more then one meal and ate as a family in the dining room. My Grandson especially loved the sun porch for its warmth as we all had coffee on it every morning. Thanks for such a lovely stay!! I highly recommend it for all!!

We bummed around the beach and the pool. The house had everything we could have wanted and more! We look forward to our next visit.

Spacious Clean Good 'Flow' of space within rooms & furniture design Few thoughts to remind guests: Bugs on Back Patio - mosquito's (be prepared to spray!) Beach Umbrellas - some were already broken or damaged. I kind of expected but we had to purchase a new umbrella.

Our group of grandparents, adult children and grandkids (5-13) thoroughly enjoyed a perfect vacation. David and Carole's home is immaculate, well stocked, and within walking distance to a lovely beach and shops. Highly recommend.

Our kids enjoyed the pool and we spent a lot of time in the screened in porch off of the kitchen. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

This was the perfect week for our family. Our children and grandchildren joined us to celebrate mom’s birthday. This first experience with Captiva will not be the last. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The house was terrific!
