The condo was the perfect fit for our family of 3. We were able to walk to most activities in Blowing Rock, including all of our meals. The owner was a delight to speak with and coordinate efforts. We really hope to return again someday.

Royal Oaks is a perfect, convenient location for getting around Blowing Rock. Vanessa was extremely responsive & easy to book, checkin & checkout with. We highly recommend staying here!

My best friend and I loved our stay in Blowing Rock. Vanessa was a wonderful host and very communicative. The condo itself is very conveniently located to town - we enjoyed being able to walk to downtown and not deal with parking. We can’t wait to come back!

We went for skiing weekend at Appalachian Ski Mtn. Comfortable condo with quick access to ski mtn and places to eat in Boone. However, the gas fireplace is not operational :(. I didn't see this in description, so be aware of that, kinda disappointing. The coffee maker is an antique "Mr Coffee Senior", it worked fine, but surprised to see something from the 80's, lol. Otherwise nice condo for our ski trip.

This condo is very easy to access from the main highway and is a very convenient five minute walk to Downtown Blowing Rock. The communication with the owner before and during the stay was excellent. The unit has all of the necessities covered and the property is well maintained. With each morning's new snow, someone was there promptly to salt the sidewalks and plow the parking lots. This condo's proximity to the downtown and the highway made it the perfect hub to explore everything the area has to offer.

Our condo had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. Easy check-in and great communication from our host. We were in Blowing Rock for Thanksgiving and it was a lifesaver to be able to walk to everything in town without dealing with finding a parking place. Would stay there again in the future.

We so enjoyed our stay in Blowing Rock. The condo was perfect for us - everything we could think of needing was there for us - even Halloween dvds for the granddaughters to enjoy - so thoughtful! We will be back! Thank you, Vanessa, for your hospitality 💚

The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was in great condition and it’s a perfect location for visiting Blowing Rock in the surrounding areas. Vanessa was quick to respond with any questions and checked in during the week to make sure we were having an enjoyable time and everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location & really cute condo. Unfortunately we had to deal with an oven issue where we had to turn the breaker on & off to be able to use the microwave. Then also had to deal with a fridge issue with the fridge leaking onto the floor. If we didn’t have to deal with this set of issues, it would have been a perfect stay. The home owner was very nice & very detailed on how to check in & out. And was appreciative of our help with getting her appliances situated until someone could come fix them after our stay

Everything was great! Location, cleanliness, beds are comfy, nice shower and very well appointed with all you need. Communication with Vanessa was wonderful. She even checked in with us our first day to make sure we were happy with everything . Ive never had that happen with a VRBO host before. Will definitely stay again !

We were familiar with the condo property having stayed in another unit, which we were unhappy with. This unit was very nice, very clean and everything worked. Kitchen had the basics. The owner was wonderful and easy to communicate with her. It is on the 2nd floor no elevator and a few steps as well, no bother for us, good for cardio though carrying the suitcases and other items. We would stay there again period. Location is great walk to Main Street and the shops. Highly recommend this unit.

Very centrally located to downtown Blowing Rock.

My friends and I had a lovely long weekend in Blowing Rock. The condo is close to Main Street and lots of restaurants. We especially enjoyed the keyless entry. The owners were very informative and accommodating.

We had such a great stay with our 8 & 10 yr old grandkids! The condo is perfectly located to main street & the beautiful little lake at the park. Pap & kids caught several fish there! Vanessa even graciously allowed us to check in early & check out late! Will definitely be back!

Quiet and pleasant condo, only a short walk into the middle of Blowing Rock. Worked especially well taking two little ones, 2 and 4 years old back and forth in their strollers for different activities in town, especially the town’s wonderful central playground.

The condo was a great fit for our quick getaway to Blowing Rock. We loved being able to walk to everything in town. The complex was well-kept and quiet, and the 2nd floor location felt very private. The condo is well-maintained and very clean; beds were comforable; water pressure was great - highly recommend!

We travel from Florida to spend Christmas with our kids. The communication with the owner was amazing from the beginning. There were only a couple issues that we would make a suggestion to consider possibly changing. The first is the inability to use the gas log fireplace. Part of the reason we came to the mountains is to get the full ambience of being there. Not being able to use the fireplace, especially at Christmas was extremely disappointing. Not that it’s a huge deal, but there was a plastic cup on the sprayer in the kitchen sink that said do not use the sprayer. We found that to be unacceptable, although a minor issue. All in all, the unit was clean, and comfortable for the length of time that we were there of eight days. We would definitely consider staying there again!
