The patios and decks were the highlight of our evenings. The cool breezes off the ocean and seclusion of the property, cooking dinner at the outdoor kitchen was a pure delight

Wonderful experience!!

The property location was great because it had its own dock and is right on the ocean, but the whole home is super dated, not clean, dilapidated in some areas, and doesn’t have basic amenities that seem easy to give guests for an upgraded experience, especially for the price you’re paying. We had a group of 6 so the space was great because everyone had their own room, but some acs didn’t work as well as others and all furnishings seem dated quite a bit and honestly some of the house looks like is needs to be completely renovated. The kitchen is my biggest complaint because the knives aren’t sharp, there weren’t any pans to use in the oven, no basics like salt and sugar, broken handles on multiple pans and also the espresso maker, the over oven vent is barely hanging on, for the price on the property I would expect more. Beautiful location but lackluster on all other fronts, outrageous price for what it was.

Casa Pelícano was a great fit for our family of 16. The outdoor kitchen and entertainment space was amazing! The home owner communicated well throughout our trip and offered some fantastic suggestions on local food and excursion options. We couldn’t have asked for more!

The Place itself was an experience!!

Our group had a very relaxing and fun stay at the Pelicano. The place had many areas to hang out and was well maintained and clean. I would stay there again for sure. Alex the host was very helpful with the planning.

Property has everything you need. We were a party of 8 and it was more than enough. Second time at this home. We used the outdoor kitchen multiple times. The breezes are wonderful as well. Even slept in the hamaca! Beds are nice. Lizards and hummingbirds and of course roosters. Sitting on the dock at night, we could see so many stars. My 11 commented that we can’t see this at home. Thank you Alejo, for your immediate responses and fabulous hosting. We will be back asap. ♥️

We had a group of 10 and found the property very nicely supported our group. Villa Pelicano is a private setting. We used the kayaks a few times. Alex was a great host and promptly answered any questions we had.

Great location, Terrace was great

We had a wonderful family trip to Culebra and stay at Villa Pelicano. The Villa offers an abundance of outdoor space for eating and relaxing and an outdoor kitchen. The place is not fancy but has everything you need, is spacious, and beautiful. Alex was helpful and accessible and gave us a excellent recommendations.

This property was incredible and exactly as you see in the pictures. Lots of space inside and outside to enjoy and close to town. Unfortunately the wind coming into the bay was too strong for us to enjoy any kayaking but they certainly looked inviting. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location! Good communication with the host. The house is very comfortable. The only complaint is that check-in is very late (4:30- 5:00 pm) and check-out very early (10:00 am) and the house has not very pleasant smells(I think it is because it is built in wood). Otherwise highly recommended!!!

I love the view from the dock, the Alex is always available and helpful , the villa needs new paint and some upgrades but is in a nice place with a nice view.

Nice island and house. House has a lot to offer. Found the food store to have most of what you need but bring what you can for spices and bug spray We rented golf carts for our stay Owner was so easy to work with and great communication would definitely go back

Everything was great

We had a wonderful time at the property. The house is very well kept, clean and the outside area is fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Windows are a little tuff to open in the downstairs bedrooms. We just kept the doors open to help with airflow. Air-conditioning in all the rooms worked great. Lots of fans through out the property. Again, very clean , and comfortable. Swimming off the doc wasn't a big hit with the kids, as there was a lot of seaweed. This is not the fault of the property, can only blame the ocean. Kayaks provided were fun. Property Manager was easy to work with, prompt and quickly fixed any issues. We enjoyed all our meals here on the paito especially with the outdoor lights in the evening and hammocks. Kitchen had a lot of useful tools. Oven could use one more rack and is a little slow( it is on Island time). But, being here you have No where else to go. Great spot to check out all the wonderful beaches of Culebra and with the dock you can get water taxi's to pick you up right from here. Very helpful with a large family and beach bags.

Alex the owner was extremely friendly and helpful giving us information about his property and beautiful Culebra. Villa Pelicano was spacious and extremely comfortable. Our large group had plenty of room to either hang together or get away from the group for some quiet time.

Villa Pelícano’s location is priceless! Waking up to that view and peaceful surroundings is breathtaking! House was perfect for our large group and property owner was very much responsive to everything we needed

Pictures don't do this place justice! Its enormous and very well kept. Alejo was a great host and had some great recommendations. It was very clean as well. Ask him about the private chef service available, its worth it trust me! Please keep in mind that we traveled in the end of March 2021 and EVERYTHING was closed. Our choices for food included a pizza place or a tiny food market which closed early. Culebra is 100x more strict compared to the main island or Vieques when it comes to Covid restrictions and I wish someone gave us a heads up.

Villa Pelicano is great. We came by water and had full access to the dock and the facilities. Alex was easy to communicate with and all instructions were thorough and accurate. Would recommend.
