The house and location are simply amazing. Very cozy and comfortable house, with great amenities and a simply breathtaking view of the Pacific. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing stay!

This property is exactly as advertised. Very clean and views to die for. It's also good for us older folks as far as comfort. My granddaughters had a great time going to places and to downtown Fort Bragg to shop while the "old lady" sat and read her book along the ocean front, watching the seals play in the cove. A great trip!

We have visited the Botanical Gardens often and talked about how wonderful it would be to stay in this home. It met expectations for us. The biggest asset of this house is the ocean view but also, the grounds all around it are beautiful. The house itself is welcoming and very clean but it feels like it could use some updating. We liked the division of the house with 2 master suites to allow privacy when needed. The kitchen was stocked for our needs and there was coffee and filters there for our morning coffee. We were given easy to understand and timely instructions from the management company so getting into and checking out of the home was very easy. Overall, this was a house that we would consider for a future visit.

Short summer vacation. Had a amazing time. Really enjoyed the view of the ocean from the back room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Sunset Point. The house is large with two master bedrooms which was great for two couples and separate space for our teenage son. The kitchen is spacious for cooking with plenty of pots and pans. We enjoyed morning coffee watching the waves and breathtaking sunsets. One minor drawback - no access to washer or dryer, otherwise a great stay with all the amenities we needed.

The location and views from this property could not have been more perfect! I would definitely like to revisit! The house was clean and well appointed.

It was a wonderful stay. As we watched it the front door we saw the view of the ocean outstanding. What a great time we had.

The name says it all ❣️Beautiful Sunsets 🌅.. We loved the house so relaxing, beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed watching the jack rabbits and squirrels and the vultures warming in the mornings. We didn’t see any deer but we did see a couple whales and a sea harbor seal that hung out one morning.. the house could use some more drinking glasses… perfect didn’t want to leave THANK YOU

This is exactly what you want when you visit the coast

Our biggest problem was no washer/dryer which we’ve never run into before in this nice a rental. No closets in the master bedroom. Only 5 plates so had to wash frequently. Especially annoying was that they only allow 4 people in a 3 BR 3bath house! Our other relatives had to book a motel instead. We wouldn’t choose this rental again 😣.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were so many beautiful things to see! What a location!! I love this home. We had a beautiful time. The wildflowers and wildlife were a joy. The botanical gardens next door was a treat. Waking up to the deer and the birds every morning was beautiful. The game nights were great! Getting to be there was a blessing. Watching the joy on my children's faces made everything worthwhile. Unfortunately the king bed in the master is done for. It needs replacement. My husband's back suffered. The dishes were not clean, we had to rewash everything we used. We found garbage in the garbage bin area. The fact that there wasn't a washer and dryer to use was a bummer. We could've benefited from them greatly with the younger ones. Other than the few minor things, it was worth every penny.

We had a great vacation in this home. Impeccable cleanliness, incredible views, high quality furniture and fixtures, and a slice of adventure with the stable but scary looking staircase down the cliff. The smart TV was able to read and flawlessly play movie media directly from a USB HD. Enjoyed the telescope. The home was beautifully presented inside and out. We look forward to returning to Sunset Point. A few small notes for the property manager and home owner: * We couldn't find the laundry machine, even though the exit instructions request to start a laundry load on the way out. * It is unclear how to operate the cast iron gas stove. * The convection oven fan makes noise and seems to be failing. * The king mattress in the master bedroom should be flipped, or possibly replaced, as it has visible recesses.

We love Sunset Point and have come here for years. The house was impeccably clean. We find this to be the most relaxing place on earth. I could (and have) spent all day staring at the ocean. It’s close enough to Fort Bragg and Mendocino to go out for dinner and removed enough to feel like you are on your own private cliff by the ocean. We can’t wait to come back.

I chose this property for its location, and it was just as I imagined it would be. Beautiful crashing waves and stunning sunsets on this rocky cliff with deer running through the expansive property. We even flew kits in the yard with the ocean as our backdrop. This house is close to town, but not much was open in the way of lunch and dinner spots, but we made due, realizing the offseason always has its challenges. The house is outdated but well-kept and spotless. Our group did have a few uncomfortable experiences. The back bedroom was freezing; even with the heat on, I could never maintain a temperature that made sleeping comfortable. The bed covers were thin and light, with no extra blankets available. The same bedroom overlooked the outdoor courtyard area with motion sensor lights that kept coming on all night; even with the curtains closed, these lights were bright enough to disturb sleep. The back bedroom was an unfortunate choice to spend four nights in. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals but could benefit from more plates, and glasses. We had to run the dishwasher often as only 4 dinner plates and very few glasses were provided. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book this house again, but I would arrive prepared with food and extra blankets. Thank you.

It’s all about the bathroom. My god that’s the best bathtub I’ve ever experienced! The bedrooms were very nice, beds were comfortable and the VIEW is spectacular. A perfect stay!
