Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Ground floor was nice, creek right out from patio sitting area. Washer and dryer a big plus. Jayne was very responsive and answered all my questions. Could have been cleaner, counters were in need of a good washing. Overall a nice place to stay!

We spent 4 nights around thanksgiving. This is a highly recommended place. We had a comfortable stay for a family of 4. Everything (bedding, storage, facilities, kitchen, parking, and patios) worked as or above our expectations. The binder provided extremely useful information. The location is great, too, as many beaches and excellent food are all just a few steps away. When we come back to Kauai, we will like to return here!

This condo was in an excellent location in Poipu! We were close to shops, restaurants, beaches and entertainment. There was everything you would need in the condo - beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, games, shopping bags,………We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

This place was really nice and perfect for our last weekend in Hawaii! We had a little trouble locating where the key lockbox code had been shared, and the space was a little stuffy without AC - but still very nice. Open windows and ceiling fans were helpful, but a box fan that could move air close to our face would have helped dramatically. I couldn’t figure out how to get the hot tub to turn on, but in fairness, I didn’t reach out to ask about it either. Overall - lovely space in a great area of the island!

We enjoyed our stay in Poipu! The condo was very close to the beach and a small shopping center. The pool was excellent and the condo was clean and tidy!

Easy to work with

Our family of 3 recently spent 3 nights at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is very clean, with very well stocked kitchen (utensils, cookware, etc), and all the beach necessities (umbrella, cooler, chairs, snorkeling gears, boogie board). The host also provided excellent recommendations for places to explore. The apartment is located within a complex that's beautifully landscaped and very close to a few Poipu beaches. Would definitely return!

Our stay at Jayne's place was great! It was in a fabulous location in Poipu, without the ridiculous prices of the beach front resorts. The great beaches are all within 10 minutes of the condo and it's a great starting point for a Waimea Canyon day trip. If your stocking up at a groceries for a long stay, I'd recommending stopping at Safeway in Lihue before heading to the condo as the stores in Poipu and Koloa didn't have everything we needed :) I'd definitely stay here again.

This property is amazing! It is very comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. The owners are nice and respond in a timely fashion. Parking was plentiful and all instructions were easy to follow. My children loved the sofa bed. We enjoyed falling asleep to the stream and waking up to the sounds of birds. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to explore the breathtaking island of Kauai!

First time staying on the Poipu/Koloa side of Kauai. Property is clean, comfortable and is located near all the spots (beaches, shops, restaurants) that we wanted to visit. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Booking process went smoothly. Hosts provided detailed and helpful info about the condo and great tips for our stay in the area. The condo included beach gear: chairs, umbrella, coolers. Highly recommend. We would book again for a future visit.

Nice quiet getaway, in a natural beautiful setting. Really love the sounds of nature, roosters and all (they ARE a very real part of Kauai) Great location for seeing the island. TV in bedroom not really working otherwise all good.

We loved our condo! It was perfect for us. Loved being on the first floor and everything from parking to cleanliness to size of the condo was great! The owner was super communicative thru the booking process. The only issue was the pool was closed during our visit, but that was not the owner's fault & she was accommodating about it! It was a beautiful pool so when it's up and running again it will be wonderful. Location was great and we'll refer anyone who we hear is going to Kauai to this condo and complex.

We had a great stay in Poipu hosted by James and Mandy. The condo itself is is lovely. Although no AC it wasn’t too hot. The lanai was a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy a morning coffee. The pool was amazing and private. Close to Poipu beach and amenities and stores without being too close to the resorts. We did have one little mishap, there was a flash flood beyond regular standards for Kauai while we were there. Unfortunately water started to run into the unit and flooded the front hall and dining area. About 4” of water. You’d think this would be an issue…but it wasn’t. My wife and I did our best to mitigate the water coming in to the condo and we’re able to clear it out fairly well. Through all of this Mandy and James were in contact with us and we’re able to get their insurance company and housekeeping staff to the condo within an hour. They brought in industrial fans and humidifiers to fully dry everything out. Amazing support from our hosts. They were so thankful for our efforts, and did right by us by refunding one night and our cleaning fee as well. This experience instilled a sense confidence in the vacation rental system, where as we’ve had bad experiences before. James and Mandy are 10/10 hosts and I could not recommend staying in their Poipu condo enough!

My wife and I spent 5 glorious days in Kauai at Jayne's condo. The condo was very well appointed and immaculate. There was a great little patio in the back that was alongside a stream with beautiful landscaping. The owner responded immediately to the handful of inquiries we had. The location was perfect. Easy walks to restaurants, shops and the beach. Hop in the car and in minutes you are at Shipwreck Beach, the Spouting Horn or any of the Poipu/Koloa sites. Would definatly return.

Very nice place

This first floor condo unit had plenty of space and beautiful grounds! We were able to walk less than five minutes to several good restaurants and shops. We chose to drive to the beach so we could transport the chairs and umbrellas that our host kindly left for us, but you could choose to walk there. It was only about 3/4 of a mile. The pool looked very nice but our weather was too cool to use it so we didn’t try it. We would stay here again if back in the area.

We really enjoyed ourselves here- it was super spacious, well furnished and crystal clean. The stream and landscaping in the complex felt like you were secluded in nature. You can tell Jayne put a lot of thoughtfulness into making it an enjoyable experience for her guests and it shows. There were lots of goodies for the beach, games, and cooking appliances too. We wished we stayed much longer. If you’re a light sleeper just make sure to bring ear plugs for the local bull frogs in the nearby stream- they are fond of singing all night. Highly recommend!

After looking at multiple properties in the area, we found that they were for the most part either dated and inexpensive or overhauled and very pricey. This property was like Goldilocks! We very much enjoyed our stay here, and found the southern part of the island to offer an endless amount of wonderful activities. We were very happy with our decision to stay here and not on te North or East sides of the island. If you are coming, we highly recommend you rent a car. It would have been a completely different experience had we not had the flexibility to move around. Another huge plus to this property is the free parking. We also appreciated all of the suggestions that we received even before arriving. We love VRBO hosts who are not only invested in you having a great experience at their property, but also a wonderful experience in their area! We would highly recommend this rental!

I had a wonderful stay, the host was easy to reach, directions clear and many great recommendations. The unit is spacious, peaceful and has a great layout for entertaining. I look forward to a future booking for a longer period of time.
