Stayed here as a solo traveler and loved it. It’s small as a lot of reviews say, but it’s perfect for 1 or 2. I only stayed in my room to shower, sleep or charge my phone. Beautiful water right outside and perfect for snorkeling. Great location and easy to hail a taxi. Walk 10 min down the road to La Monina for the best ceviche and cocktails. Bring a swimsuit and lounge by their beach. Have Laura organize a private driving tour of the island. Well worth the money.

This was our second stay here and it was better then the first time. We would like to bring our family next time and we hope to stay in one of the bigger rooms they have. Thank you for letting stay in your tiny home!! Until next time 💖

I took my grandson to Cozumel for a wonderful vacation in Cozumel. The Cantamar 302 was just right for us. The pool was a beautiful area that was very well kept. We usually had the pool to ourselves. There was great snorkeling and ocean swimming access right off of the back of the pool area. This place is just right for two. We were able to cook. The refrigerator size was just right. We always had clean bottled water. Thank you for the good memories!

Amazing view of turquoise waters, always plenty of seating in the lounge chairs around the pool and in the sandy “beach” area, a great place for snorkeling. The condo was exactly as described, perfect for the 2 of us on our honeymoon. The owners and staff were super helpful and friendly and provided a wealth of information. We absolutely loved everything about our stay in this little piece of paradise and look forward to our next trip!

Good snorkeling

Not well suited for tall people or older knees (tiny stairwell) under 300 square feet in size by our estimation, when the Murphy bed is down there is not much room to get by it, the sink is also tiny like the kitchen and cooking was challenging. We ended up spending way more time and money in restaurants than planned. Reality is that one doesn't spend much time indoors when on the island. We made it work and had a lovely time in Cozumel.

Jill is a wonderful, kind host. The studio is small, as noted, but when you are with the one you love and your goal is to be outside and exploring Cozumel, the studio has everything required for a wonderful holiday. The snorkeling out front was lovely with many spectacular creature sightings. The balcony is perfect for viewing the crystal blue water and sunsets while enjoying local tequila liquor.

The pictures tell it all, the view is unbelievable, the pool is spotless, the sand is great, the snorkeling right on the property is as good as any tour! It is as described-Tiny and quirky but clean and had everything you need! Highly recommend this place .

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. I love the small condo complex. The unit is very nice. The pool is great! The owner was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely fell in love with Cantamar Condos! Everything about our stay was perfect! The location in the north end was just enough out of town for the neighborhood to be quiet and peaceful yet a quick walk downtown and to 2 great restaurants (La Monina and Hemingway’s). The studio was small but wonderful, perfect for a couple. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is stunning! The snorkeling was truly the best that we experienced and we snorkeled all over the island. Our only regret was not booking this studio for our entire trip! Jill and Laura were very easy to contact and always quick to respond with any questions. We will ABSOLUTELY be back again and again!

Fabulous studio apartment with great access to town, snorkeling and dining. Loved my whole experience and dream at least once a week about going back. The property manager was so accommodating, kind and very knowledgeable

I have stayed at a lot of different places on the island and this view takes the cake. The tiny condo was perfect! We had everything we needed and had such an easy time checking in and out, despite delays getting to the island. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent here!!

This was our first trip to Cozumel and this was the perfect location! Just a short walk up the street from down town area yet very quiet and private. The home is very compact just as advertised and exactly how we wanted it. The views are unmatched! There is nothing better than seeing the ocean when you wake up and watch the sun set before bed. We will be back

Small but mighty! That’s how I can summarize it. Beautiful view. Laura and Marcelo were just the best. I had a couple of mishaps and they were on the ball ready to help. Will definitely be back.

My husband & I stayed 4 nights here, very enjoyable. The view is to die for. Place looks exactly like the pictures. I do want to say this is a small place, which is exactly how it's advertised. It might not work for some. We didn't spend that much time inside, except to sleep. It has a nice pool, with plenty of chairs & also a small beach area with chairs, that's where we spent our time! The location is great to be able to walk into town for meals. Jill, the owner was very easy to communicate with, she provided lots of good information to us. We had some lack of communication with the property manager which was my reason for giving it 2 stars, but after relaying the issues to Jill (owner) I feel sure this was a one time deal that has been taken care of, otherwise, I give this unit 5 stars!

This studio is small, no doubt, however it is perfect for 2 people. You only spend your time sitting on the balcony enjoying the amazing views or on the man made beach. It is a perfect walk to town(centro). Everything was wonderful

We had a great week at this condo, snorkeling as much as possible, walking into town and being able to experience Cozumel on our own terms. The Lawsons provide any information you might need, and the condo has many amenities.

We spent a glorious six days at this most-beautiful and very private spot which is wonderfully maintained inside and out. We loved seeing the fishing boats head out in each direction early in the morning, along with teams rowing wooden canoes right past our place. The hosts provide a comprehensive description of restaurants with their ratings of them, plus information on where to get groceries, how to arrange for excursions or car rental, etc. We felt very well taken care of. The walk to the town is about a mile, along a lovely walkway, with restaurants and a convenience store along the way. We didn't have a car and walked back and forth each day. Do rent a car and drive to the other side of the island -- we had great very fresh fish at a beach restaurant there after visiting a Mayan ruin. We highly recommend this place -- it is well furnished with everything you might need.

My husband and I had an amazing time during our 2 week stay at Cantamar. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The snorkeling was the best. We paid for an excursion of snorkeling just once. However we realized there was no need. The snorkeling right outside the condo was fantastic. We saw moray eels, conch, lobster, sting rays, flounder, squid, barracudas and tons of beautiful fish! Great visibility. The water was never cloudy. The condo was within walking distance to town. We walked everyday to town. The condo is a studio but it was perfect for us. Just enough space. It is extremely cute. We were worried about the Murphy bed, never sleeping on something like that before. However it was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in away from home. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the privacy at the pool, we were the only ones in it for most of our vacation. The condo was small, but we knew that before we rented it. The property managers were there to greet us upon arrival, and get us settled in on our first day. The condo was very clean, and space was utilized well for the layout. Never had an issue with the shower as others have said, always had hot water. We had an issue with the TV not turning on one morning, and I contacted Jill, she responded right away, and suggested that I contact the manager. They came to fix the problem later that day. We had rain at least once each day, but we were still able to enjoy the pool because the sun came out later. Walking to downtown took us about 15 to 20 minutes. Cabs can be caught right in front of the condo by just walking out to the street and flagging one down. Cost about $5-$6 USD to go to the Ferry port area. From there we walked around. Their are 2 grocery stores right by each other. One is the Mega, and the other one starts with a C, as I do not remember the name. In my opinion the 2nd one was a better grocery store. Lots of places to eat downtown for all 3 meals. The DutyFree store in the airport is super small, I would recommend going to the one downtown if you like to shop. The condo has drinking water in a 5 gallon jug for you to use. It has a handy pump attached to it, so it's easy to fill whatever you need to. We like having ice in our water, so I brought along some silicone ice trays, because I knew the fridge was small. This worked great the week we were there, however the condo did have trays for you to use. I just used a ziplock bag and kept making ice cubes. What we learned during this trip, we like to have beach access while on vacation, we took a day trip and went to Planacar Beach I believe. It is the last beach you can go to. We didn't want to do the day pass at the other beaches for all inclusive access, so we chose this one, as it has a beach club, and pay as you go for food and drinks. The cab ride there and back was $40USD. We learned that we like to have more space while on vacation. And we learned that we like the all inclusive feature, so that we don't have to worry about where or what we are going to eat each day. Overall our vacation was amazing, and we would rent again from this owner, just in their bigger unit. Jill and Truett were great to rent from! Even offering to return my mini fan I forgot in the condo

This was a perfect place for a mid week getaway for 2, great snorkeling and pool right there. Very private feeling and safe. Thank you

Absolute bliss!

My husband and I visited Cozumel from Reno Nevada for our 12th wedding anniversary we couldn't of picked a better place to stay. This tiny home was everything it showed and more. Perfect space for just the 2 of us everthing we needed for cooking, snorkeling, swimming, plenty of water supplied for cooking and drinking. We have a big family that we would love to bring with us next time and hope to use 302 and 303. Thank you so much for having us plan to come back hopefully very soon.

This condo was perfect for 2! It was very clean, very comfortable, very private. We loved everything about it!

This is a lovely little studio condo in a great location. Our favorite part of staying here was the easy snorkeling access and beautiful view off the back terrace. The size of the place made us feel cramped at times, so we realized how having space does make a difference for us on vacations - so we will likely pay more and choose something larger the next time. Shower water never got warm, which we found out may have been a pilot light issue. Jill is wonderful to work with and compensated us for the situation. Also, loved the little welcome basket when we arrived- very thoughtful! We appreciated the availability of bottled water during our stay, as we used bikes to get around and carry groceries. There is a little convenience store up the road and the Mega further down. Would also second Jill’s recommendation of the Cozumel Bike Rental company.
