Room was comfy and ac worked well.
Fridge shuts off when you leave the room with a key, its on top of a small hill so always a hike to get to. Also the next door rooster woke us up many times during the night :D

Lage ist gut. Schnell am Strand und in der Stadt.
Es ist ziemlich laut. Zudem handelt es sich nicht um ein Hostel. Es gibt keine Dorms, keine Küche und irgendwie auch keine anderen Gäste.
Es war sehr laut im Haus, da es sehr hellhörig ist und sich bereits lautstark unterhalten und umher gerufen wurde. Nicht weit vom Fenster gab es einen Nachbarn, der fast ganztägig sehr laut Karaoke (oder etwas ähnliches) durch sein Mikrofon geschrien hat; häufig schon vor 7 Uhr am Morgen.
Es war im Einzelraum nicht sauber; lange schwarze Haare befanden sich im Bett, auf dem Boden, an der Wand im Bad und in den Handtüchern (es ist nicht schön, wenn man nach dem Duschen auf einmal fremde Haare am Körper kleben hat, weil man sich mit den Handtüchern abgetrocknet hat). Unterm Bett und unter dem Kühlschrank wurde wohl seit langer Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt.
Die Gasse zum Haus ist zudem zu klein, sodass man mit Auto nicht vorfahren kann. Stattdessen läuft man durch eine ziemlich stinkende Straße (viel Müll, Bauschutt, zwei ziemlich krank aussehende freilaufende Hunde und einige freilaufende Hühner)den Berg hoch.
Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen.

Een fantastisch hostel (wat meer een hotel is eigenlijk) die van alle gemakken voorzien is met vriendelijk personeel die voor je klaar staan om je te helpen. We konden hier ook gemakkelijk een scooter huren.
Ze spreken geen engels maar doen hun uiterste best om je te helpen met Google Translate. Dit werkt prima!

the hostel is located on a hill, and it is quite tired to walk from the main street to the hostel. Anyway it is worth for the money, but I didn’t expect this location of the hostel on a hill.

It's in a relatively quiet street aside from some karaoke once in a while! The staff was helpful and available if needed. It's kind if close to the main area, walkable in less than 5-10 minutes. The room was a bit smaller than we expected but still okay.
The tv had only the regular channels so there was no netflix access. Our last night there, some people of the hostel made so much noise for a good 10-15 minutes and even tried to enter our room without any intervention from the staff... (there is supposedly reception 24/24h)

- I prefer hard mattresses but this one was a bit too much even for me. My back started to hurt a bit by the fourth day.
- There were some minor spots (stain residues) on the bedsheets that were not removed after them being washed.
- This one is not the property’s issue per se but still.. The small alley leading to the hostel is extremely dirty, garbage was standing in heaps at certain spots.
Conclusion: it was a good (private) accommodation with an outstanding customer service and a fairly great price. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is very good, close to the center and night market.The staff is very nice, always smiling. The guy helped us to carry the heavy bag to the 4th floor. The room is nice and they have a big terrace where you can hang the laundry.

Its not what you’d expect from the pictures. The place is located in a very sketchy and dirty alley and it is not really close to anything, you can’t even access the beach from here. The staff doesn’t speak any english.
Worst thing is the cleanliness, place is very old and forgotten, you can see marks of this everywhere. Also bad was the sleep quality; the mattress is very hard, you can hear noises through the whole house and there is a rooster outside that started screaming at 4am.
Don’t come here if you just want to relax and have a good time.

The hostel is located really near to the Phu Quoc night market. It also takes just a short walk to the beach. The room was small but clean, it also had a separate bathroom. Service staff was very friendly.

- Hotel, nice building in itself, stands in a middle of a literal dump - there is garbage all around, and it smells
- Loud karaoke very often
- Super loud radio round the clock which you can hear through ventilation
- First night we fought a giant cockroach
- Staff cleaning other rooms yell to each other through the flours - no respect

Great location. The night market and beach are within walking distance. The staff are impeccable. The bed is very comfortable!
Things that you need to be aware of: the place is in a small and sloping alley. There's no elevator. So you should pack lightly. Plus, the hot water at night will run out, so you should take a shower early.

Wonderful, wonderful helpful staff. Didn't speak hardly any English but with the help of Google translate it was perfect.
Great location. Some people say that they felt uncomfotable because you have to walk through an alley past the local's homes, but it was perfectly safe and everyone there is so friendly... didnt feel unsafe at all. I quite like how the locals surround the property as it has a more "neighborhood" feel.
Stayed in private room, and it was clean and comfortable.
Overall, beautiful and funky hostel.
Maybe the only thing is that there is little soundproofing so it can be a bit noisy, but with good earplugs it's fine.
