The property was secluded and peaceful. The house was very clean. Only issue is the lack of serving dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. Felt the price paid should have included their cleaning person stripping the beds and taking towels to laundry area. This should not be n expectation of the guests. All in all it was a nice stay.

Our second time staying at Whiskey Creek. Clean, comfortable, close to everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Great. Plenty of room. Loved the hot tub. Kids wished they lived there. Close to all Hocking Hills attractions we were interested in. Celebrated a 13th, a 40th and a 70th birthday.

2 familys with 5 kids total age range 4-11. Kids all slept downstairs in the perfect gameroom set up. They loved the foosball table, packman arcade, and comfy couch. This place has 3 full bathrooms! Tons of extra space and could fit atleast 2 more kids down in the basement. We loved that it was a simple walk to the creek which was pretty sandy and a lot of fun! End of the road, private location. We had a great time figuring out the guest book clue and made a clue or our own. Would definitely stay here again!

My aunt Connie started this girls get away 3 years ago . She passed with Cancer but we still go on a girls cabin get away in honor of her . All cousins and a few friends who are like cousins too us all . Thank you for a beautiful place to make lasting memeries

This cabin was such a great find in the Hocking Hills area! My girlfriend’s and I went for a weekend to get away and it was just lovely! Would highly recommend.

LOCATION IS GREAT DUE TO PROXIMITY TO THE CAVES WE VISITED. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY IMMENSELY.

Great getaway for the new year!

We picked this beautifully secluded cabin because it has more than just cabin features. The owners have a walking trail and a way to get to the creek, all of which is part of their property. You couldnt ask for a more secluded area.

This was the first time we celebrated our family Christmas away from home. The cabin had a Christmas tree and other small decorations. It was a wonderful place to stay. The kids loved the hot tub! We would highly recommend for getaway from every day life. We will definitely plan another stay!

We've stayed here a few times before and always enjoy our time. We love the new Pac Man game and Wi-Fi. Can't wait to come back already!

The house location was ideal in wooded area. Very easy to access. House very clean. Short drive to parks. Super nice hosts. Would definitely recommend and we would rent again.

Beautiful home and plenty of room. Everything was clean and such a fun place to be! We hiked a lot but even though it rained we were able to come back to the cabin and play games. We hope to visit again! Oh yea, the tree leaves were magnificent in color!

Whiskey Creek was the perfect weekend getaway for our family of 6. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, great location, fun activities for kids (playset, Creek, pac man). We will definitely be sharing this listing with friends who are thinking about visiting Hocking Hills!

We loved the location. The house was close enough to trails we wanted to hike, had fun things to do on the property (creek, swingset, yard, deck, hot tub, foosball), and was right next door to Jack Pine Glass Studio. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our family of 7 to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday together.

It was nice to get away from the crowd & traffic & spend time with family, exploring nature. We love the wrap around porch & hot tub. The kitchen is generously stocked. The only small issues is a few deck boards need repaired & one of the basement bed mattresses could use maybe something to refresh its comfort level.

We will be back 😀

We booked Whiskey Creek for 8 of us to explore Hocking Hills for the weekend. This home is absolutely gorgeous and our host thought of everything! Plenty of amenities, games, and places on site to find peace and quiet or get everyone playing a game together. We just loved it.

The place was perfect for our family getaway! Equipped far better than I expected in the kitchen! The grandkids loved the creek!

House was very convenient location to hiking paths, general stores etc. Kitchen stocked with all the essentials for cooking n serving meals. Plenty of towels etc. We all enjoyed the views and spent time sitting out on the decks. Our family would definitely book again.

We stayed at Whiskey Creek with 2 families and had a wonderful visit! Place was well maintained and had plenty to do for all ages (6 kids ages 6 years old to 15). Kids enjoyed playing in the creek, hot tub, bocce soccer, making fires in the fire pit, and short drives to great hikes!

The property was excellent. All of our activities were close. We were in a private location and the teens enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. No WiFi is what we needed. This will not be our last time coming. I plan on bring my family there as well for a family trip. Outstanding Log Cabin

Secluded yet still close to all of the trails, enjoyed family time. Didn’t even notice the lack of Wi-Fi, kids got a kick answering the “ old” phone. Would return again!

We came to Whiskey Creek with our friends and in total we had six children, ages 3 to10. The cabin and property was PERFECT! The cabin was stocked well with the essentials (bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, etc.) and the property was fantastic. Tucked back away off of highway 180 and private. The biggest highlight of the trip may have been the creek. Our kids barely wanted to go to the state parks because they wanted to just hang out at the creek, build dams and look for crawdads! It was the best weekend getaway. Thank you!!!

This was our 3rd stay at this cabin with our 3 families. The cabin, location and amenities are perfect. However, lesson learned. TAKE PICTURES upon arrival, make phone calls immediately rather than waiting till checkout.. We were accused of some things that were simply unfair. Said we didn’t clean dishes (crockpot) that we didn’t use; said dishes in the cabinet was not cleaned (we brought disposable everything and only used a couple items that weekend); the fireplace stopped working while we were there but it was warm and didn’t mind, but told them after checkout rather while there (didn’t feel the need to have maintenance on something while we were there if it wasn’t needed); said towels smelled damp (the load I started as we left were in the dryer, but I wasn’t there to start them the second time in the dryer as I did on other loads while there) said the foosball table had a trim piece was broken (after investigating when my husband used it the first game the piece fell off. Apparently it wasn’t attached fully but “placed” from previous guest). We ended up paying four hundred dollars after checkout for that piece, extra cleaning (all beds were used and towels-apparently that was an issue for our group size). However, One of the jets in the hot tub was broken, which I completely agreed paying for that. It was used nonstop while there. We have a hot tub and we’ve had to replace ours once as well. That happens. However it was an issue that they had to drain the hot tub to clean it. There’s a nice beach/creek there. The kids went from the creek to the hot tub, so I’m sure it was very dirty. Although I would think draining after each guest is normal cleaning. I still recommend the property. Booking was very easy with Kate. I would just quickly make calls about any issue you have rather than waiting for departure so that you are not blamed, whether it’s as simple as a dirty tub or as big as the gas fireplace not lighting. The gentleman you speak to after checkout is not as kind. Unfortunately there is no debating or questioning the issues after checkout. Sadly there will mot be a 4th stay for us as we had already planned to book.

The experience was good. I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed more in the warmer months.

Several amazing friends that started their friendship at Five Points Elementary in Springboro for a much needed weekend away! Your cabin was our favorite! We walked the trails to the beautiful creek! We discussed visiting again right after school is out in May!
