9 of us between 3 and 80 and our dog stayed at this home over the weekend. Very nice home with lots of great amenities! The property was clean, big, easy to get too and had a neat story behind it. Though we didnt catch any fish the ponds were nice and the paddle boards were fun. The home itself was close to hiking and had everything from games to spices and even extra coffee and TP! Beds were comfy and really enjoyed the arrangement, earlier risers or late nighters could be up enjoying themselves while not waking others. Only two minor things I'd recommended is to get a Tv in the loft(not that we watched much tv but would have been nice to have 2 for when it rained) and to move the creepy silver Nissan truck. Kind of spooked some while there. Thanks so much! Best all around place weve stayed over 4 trips to the hocking area. Would book again!

We absolutely loved your space. You supplied 98% of what we needed. Your communication was superb. We enjoyed reading your store and thank you for sharing it with us. The only thing that I would suggest is some sort of reflector system when heading toward the pond. I had visions of guest driving right into it 😱. But I rate our stay 10/10

This house was absolutely perfect for our fall trip. We hiked, fished, had a fire and took the boat out on the pond. The house had everything that we needed. It is at the end of a lane and is very secluded which was perfect for us. Our girls were able to learn how to split fire wood. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who just wants to get away. There is no cell phone service so make sure you screenshot or memorize the code before getting to the house. We didnt have any issues with wifi while we were there.

Location and the seclusion of property was great, lots of amenities. There are some cleaning and maintenance issues that I informed thw property management about. Although one does not go to watch TV, more than 1 would be nice!

it was a fun filled weekend and we enjoyed staying at the house. The two bathrooms became an issue in the morning but we worked around that. Thought the kitchen was extremely well equipped.

Yearly trip with friends from high school. We enjoyed the property and the house. Well stocked pantry of spices for cooking and plenty of cooking utensils. The house and property are very nice and well cared for. Could've used a few more towels, there were none in the bin marked "towels for hot tub". The owner and property manager kept in touch and asked how things were through out the trip. All in all we had a great time and may consider visiting this property again.

House was perfect for what we needed. The pond right off the deck made for some wonderfully convenient fishing. Great fire pit and big hot tub. Big grill with natural gas. This ticked all the boxes for us. Nice clean house and friendly responsive owners/managers. No problems finding the place. We have zero complaints about our experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely awesome setting away from everything but yet close to grocery stores.we will definitely stay here again. Host was in contact with us promptly and we had no issues with anything during our stay

We enjoyed our stay at The Place. I loved reading the story of its beginning. The grandkids loved feeding the fish from the deck. Adults enjoyed the spa. Beds were comfortable.

We had a wonderful time here. The cabin was beautiful and well appointed. The property was secluded and stunning at all Hours of the the day. Would 100% stay here again

Our stay was nice. Light bulbs above dining room table were burnt out. We had to clean the skillets they had dryed food on them. When you removed the trash liners the trash cans were very dirty inside. They need to be cleaned still. We had to clean the counter tops when we arrived. Everything is nice the cleaning crew needs to be checked on. It’s to nice of a place to be discouraged because the cleaning crew are cutting corners to just get the job done! The owner is amazing.

This property was everything a group of 20-something guys could hope for in a bachelor party. Our host(s) were very friendly, open, and communicative throughout the whole process, immediately answering all questions we had about the space. Would definitely stay here again!

Couldnt be a better property

We had a fun and relaxing time at the property with family from out of state. 20 minutes to Hocking Hills attractions.

Great place in the woods. Had great fishing swimming, paddle boarding, playing in sand,,sitting by fire pit and just relaxing. beautiful house, easy to get to, and quiet.Just the place for a family get-to-gether.

Our ages ranged from 92 to 3 years. We had a wonderful time. We loved the seclusion. So very quiet.The kids loved the pond and hot tub. Even the 69 year old grandma(me) got in the pond on the paddle boards. We wish we could have stayed longer. Most of our time was spent on the property with just one day away for a hike at Ash Cave,some zip-lining, and a short visit to the glass blowing place.I would recommend it to any one who likes peace and quiet.

Stayed with seven adults and six kids. Swam in the pond all day. Loved it and would go again!

Peaceful. Secluded. Quiet. Great house and property. Fairly close to Hocking Hills attractions. Plenty of room. Well stocked and nicely furnished. Fishing right off the porch. Just needs a few finishing touches to go up a level. Wish there would have been a way to turn off the outside lighting so we could have gotten the full impact of the nightime sky!

This is a wonderful place to head to if u want a lot of peace and quiet and enjoy the sounds of nature. Plenty of fishing time also.

We hosted our wedding at this property with immediate family and close friends and couldn’t have found a better location! The view with the water was a perfect backdrop for a beautiful ceremony and dinner on the deck where we comfortably served about 25 people. We were able to get so many great photos! All of our guests loved it and the setting created such an intimate & relaxed vibe while still feeling a little fancy with some added wedding decorations and there were already so many resources available at the cabin that made pulling evening together so much easier on us. The property owners & manager were so kind and they all went above and beyond to make our trip as great as possible. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful, private property! There was plenty of entertainment. The pond is just gorgeous and the paddle boards/boat make it so much fun. I loved that my little dog could run and that my kids stayed off their electronics. The kitchen has everything you would need and there was plenty of linens. The owners provided great comunication and directions. We took advantage of some perfect scenery for some very overdue family photos. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The property was very nice and well kept. The lake was perfect for fishing and taking in the scenery. We had a great time making new memories as a family!!

We had an amazing time!!! We havent had a chance to get away with mine, my sisters family and our parents in a really long time! This place was absolutely perfect for us. Game room dosnstairs to play pool and wii, large great room where we relaxed and did puzzles here and there. Everyone took advantage of the paddleboards and row boats as well as swimming. The pond is really nice and clean. The property overall is well cared for. We especially enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings although it was a super hot weekend so we coukd only stand it in short spurts. Lol. I would highly recommend this property to everyone!! Oh, the only suggestion i would make is possibly labeling the light switches. That part got i little confusing but i think we had it by the time we left. :) thanks Greg!!! :)

We all loved the space ..everyone could come together to play cards or sneak away for a quiet moment. The hottub was an added plus..nice and relaxing. We really all wished our trip had been longer. Very close to Hocking Hills..everything clean and just amazing. I would highly suggest this property The best i have stayed at in the region@

We've been coming to the Hocking Hills area for over 30 years, staying in many different houses/cabins. This is the best. A warm spacious house with a well stocked kitchen nestled in a beautiful secluded setting.

So peaceful and quiet. Loved listening to the birds around the land. Enjoyed just sitting on the deck and fishing. Several night's we just sat around in the basement and played pool or watched movies as a family. Great owner, always there when you needed them. We made a few changes along the way and they were so helpful and understanding. Definitely go back again.
