Overall the cabin was very nice. A few small maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but they didn’t negatively affect our stay. Location is great. Unit was very clean and well stocked with everything you need.

Absolutely loved this clean and well-equipped cabin. Lovely, quiet setting that felt away from town, but was very close as well. We had one warm, lovely day - but the next day the temps dropped almost 30 degrees and it was foggy and rainy. So the cozy cabin and wood-burning fireplace was SUCH a treat, and we so enjoyed our day of rest! We would defintely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

This is a great place to stay. Close to Mt Rushmore and all the sites but in a quiet wooded setting about 1.5 miles from town. Would stay there again.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 during our recent vacation to the Black Hills! It’s tucked back in to the woods, but close enough for a quick trip into Keystone for shopping or sightseeing in the area. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon!

This cute cabin has plenty of space for a family of 5 or more. My kids loved it! It was clean and better than pictured. The location is awesome for exploring South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore, Spearfish, The Black Hills, and the Badlands.

Our group of 4 stayed here for a few nights. It was cozy, charming and comfortable. Had all we needed and was clean. Location was perfect for Mt Rushmore and Black Hills. Would recommend and stay again!

Cabin was very close to town. Rushmore was ten minutes away, Custer State Park was 30 minutes. Cabin was just what we needed for two couples

Our only problem with this cottage was that we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. We had 2 nights only and this location (and the quality of the cottage) definitely deserves more.

We were only able to get for one night and wish that we were able to book for more nights (3 that we stay in the area). The cabin was clean and well maintained. Great location while secluded and in the wood, only 30 min walk from Keystone downtown. I would have rated 5 stars, the only reason I rated 4 was the lack of mattress beds for two of our boys. We requested and were provided not very usable floor mattresses. The owners was very responsive and very helpful. I would definitely come back and stay at Backroad Inn & Cabins.

Really nice interior and furnishings. 2 Bed/2Bath plus additional sleeping options worked great for extended family gathering. Nice heated pool and location adjacent to 1880 train track were nice bonuses. Very convenient location to Keystone, Hill City and Custer State Park

Nice, clean cabin with everything we needed. We loved being centrally located, close to Keystone, yet away from the busy highway.

The place was set in a lovely valley. Close enough to Mt. Rushmore that visiting was easy.
