The houses, beds, kitchen set up were all quite excellent. The grounds and pool are perfectly lovely. We had a car but definitely did not need one. Super walkable and a wonderful area to explore. The restaurants, bars and food did no disappoint. And Nick is excellent with whatever you need and does a marvelous job keeping the property in tip top shape. We loved it! And highly recommend this booking.

Great property, great location, And Nick and Pamela were awesome!

This house(s) were great for our family group of 8 adults. We chose it because we really wanted a house which was a beachfront property with a pool and also walking distance to town. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The property manager Nick was beyond helpful and the host Ann, was always willing also to share information. We had an amazing stay.

Worked perfect for 10 family members ranging from grandparents, parents and children. Good location , we walked to town often. Pool was a hit with kids. On-site manager was helpful.

Aurora Beach was the perfect spot for our large family (my family of 5, my sister and my parents). The location was ideal...outside the center of the village, but only a couple hundred yards from the Placencia sidewalk. The entire property, including pool area, is pristine, with literally not one stone out of place. The houses are spotless and have everything you need. Most importantly, there is Nick, always there keeping a watchful eye, and quick to give advice and assist planning any activities. Take Nick's recommendations for everything. Can't wait to go back!

This place was fantastic. We have stayed at multiple places in Placencia and this was a favorite. Ann was great the whole way through and Nick the onsite manager was very helpful with any request or question and just a very nice man. We loved it and will be back.

We came with four couples and we each had our own private bedroom and bathroom. The salt water private pool was amazing and used everyday. Close enough to walk to restaurants and the village too. We all loved our stay here! We’d love to come back again, it was a perfect trip.

We rented both houses for a family reunion. The space, the location, the views -- all peaceful and perfect. Nick , the caretaker, and his family are a delight. I would book this house again!!!

Amazing again, the house in perfect conditions, every tiny detail clean, functional and useful. Well located if you rent golf carts you purchase everything you need in the supermarket, really enjoy nightlife and have a nice dinner where ever you please. Thank you Ann!

WOW! What an amazing place. We enjoyed our stay so much! We would rent again in a heartbeat. It fit our group of 9 (6 adults and , 3 children) perfectly. The houses were very clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchens had pots, pans, baking pans, stock pots, cutting boards, basically everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The houses even had beach/pool towels for guest use. The bathrooms were clean and there were hair dryers in each full bath. The city water went off a couple times but that didn't slow us down much. We let the AMAZING, caretaker, Nick know and he took care of it as soon as possible, and the water was back on in hardly no time at all. The pool, was SO wonderful and used EVERYDAY, sometimes all day! We did a couple excursions but could have just stayed at the property all week and still had a wonderful time. We were gone all day on an excursion to Ranguana Caye on our cleaning day and decided to have Vilma cook an evening meal for us. DELICIOUS!! It was SO YUMMY! The mom's of our group were a bit concerned about being so close to the main road and having to deal with getting in & out of the gate at first. We were quickly put at ease and learned to appreciated the gate and knowing Nick, if not on property, was only a phone call away. We have stayed at one other place in Placencia that was comparable but even so Aurora Beach was a step above due to the caretakers Nick & Vilma. Thank you Ann Trudeau for having your family's property for the enjoyment of others. We will certainly be keeping this as a favorite.

We loved all of the details, amenities and the grounds are very well thought out and maintained. The home furnishings and decor are perfectly done. You are able to stroll from the living area, on to the patio, to the pool and on to the beach at your leisure. The large side lot also provides a nice opportunity to explore for Iguanas, Birds and other wildlife under a canopy of trees. Nick does a great job of maintaining the grounds, is mindful of security and providing helpful assistance and information for guests. If only he could do something about the sand fleas. :) Some of our guests were more susceptible to the little buggers bites than others. Yes, they can be a nuisance. You will definitely enjoy the location, as it is just a 5 to 10 minute stroll down the white sandy beach to Placencia's many shops and eateries. The property owner Ann is also most helpful providing excellent information and timely responses. Our family was in Belize to celebrate my Mom's 70th Birthday Party. As you can tell, we had a wonderful time.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway and was greeted by Nick, til the moment we HAD to leave, our experience was unbelievable. The most beautiful property we have ever seen. Hope that we are fortunate enough to be able to return again.

We had a wonderful time in Placencia. The properties are clean and well maintained by Nick and his family. The owners are very helpful and were responsive to all of our needs and questions. The homes are centrally located and are walking distance to the town and restaurants. A fantastic vacation spot. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

The Placencia Peninsula was "discovered" as a great vacation destination long ago, resulting in some unfortunate development, speaking as an architect. But nestled between the McMansions of the northern part and the intact quaintness of Placencia Village in the south lie these two beach houses, beautifully designed and appointed and meticulously maintained. None of the dull cutlery, chipped crockery, and corroded plumbing of many vacation rentals. These are US owners who CARE, and they spend a lot of time there. Our extended family of 11 just returned from a week there, and it was a wonderful stay. The property is secluded and expertly maintained by the resident caretaker and his family, even to raking the sand daily. We felt quite privileged. Wish we were back there now, laying at poolside, and we've only been back for a day!

We had a fantastic time! We woke up in the morning looking out over the sunrise and the ocean. There was something to do every day. We hiked, snorkeled, fished, and did a couple of boat tours. Other than hiking in the jaguar preserve, we didn't need a car. Everything was a short walk. By 3pm we were home, and had our cocktail hour while floating in the pool. Then we walked up the beach to have dinner in a different open-air restaurant each night. Finally, we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf out of our windows. We shared the two houses with other couples. Everything was lovely and comfortable: granite counter tops, double sinks in the bathrooms, gorgeous views of the coast, etc. But who wants to be inside! Each house had its own patio, where we had our morning coffee. Most of the time we were poolside, which was right on the beach! Placencia is an awesome place. Everyone was friendly, and we felt completely safe. Occasionally locals would approach attempting to sell us things, but when we said "no, thank you", they backed right off. None of the hard sell we have seen in other Caribbean locations. On our last night we had wine in "the tower" while we watched a gigantic full moon rise. It was a perfect ending to a perfect vacation! We will be back!

This estate is magical. From the first day we were so taken with how beautiful it was. The accommodations are first class and truly everything was perfect. Two couples stayed in the Ginger House. It is so clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy the week we stayed. We cooked a couple of nights but honestly the restaurants in town were so great. We looked forward to our walk into town to enjoy dinner and some dancing. We did go and see Monkey River, we went snorkeling, we hiked to an incredible waterfall and took a ride on the Hokey Pokey ferry. But best of all was hanging and swimming at the property. We are already planning our next year back. Thank you Ann and Tom!
