The house was very nice and right on the river. The hot tubs made for some wonderful afternoons to relax.

Beautiful accommodations and really enjoyed the stay!

The property was beautiful next to a serene flowing portion of the Chattahoochee. My sin’s were able to through their fishing lines in while I could sit and relax in the hot tub. We walked most places downtown due to the great location. Owner thought of everything include family board games!! VBRO staff was helpful. I would stay again.

The home was well equipped. My sister and her daughter stayed on the lowest level of the home which was perfect for them. Plenty of privacy and a small kitchenette. The middle floor was open for all of us to gather in the evenings. The top floor is where I stay with my 2 boys. Spacious bedrooms and clean. The home had everything we needed. The only thing I could think of for a family of 6 staying 3 nights we were definitely short towels. We all had 1 towel each. Wasn’t a deal breaker but if your a towel hog like myself one for hair and one to dry off pack extras in your bag. Will definitely book agian.

We had the best time enjoying our friends and family on the deck and in the hot tubs. The kitchen was big enough for all the ladies to cook together and we also enjoyed grilling out!! Plenty of room and great family place!!

The house was wonderful and we really enjoyed the many different levels and space it offered for our family. Our only issue was not being told that you couldn't access the river from the property. We wish we had been told that because we had children with us that wanted to play in the water. There were no stairs leading down to the water and it was too grown up to hike down the steep bank to the flat spot. We called the management team twice to see if they could contact a neighboring property about us getting access to the water without having to drive to town, and both times they were friendly and stated they were working on it, but never called us back. We were also a little concerned there were no fire escapes on the third floor, but we never reached out and asked about it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the space the house offered.

Very clean place, it was just like the pictures on VRBO. Drive to town was a little of walk from the townhome. It was quiet and the porches on the river were very nice to have. Customer service was great to work with and fixed our issue as quickly as possible. Would definitely stay here again . It’s perfect as every bedroom has its own bathroom plus a half bath downstairs in the main level.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a Christmas trip. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. I did not walk to downtown but my children did.

Great location, less than one mile to downtown Helen - easy 20 minute walk. Clean condo, and every bedroom has a bathroom which is ideal for a group. Views of the river from the balconies are beautiful. Would stay again!

The rest of the unit could use a good cleaning. The balconies were covered in spider webs and dust and leaves. The carpets could use a vacuum and there were hairs in the shower in the bottom bathroom. The location is not really walkable due to the steep driveway and roadway and farther from everything, like a mile walk. Overall, not a bad property but just not exactly what we expected. Communication was good.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Peaceful and relaxing view but still close to everything. Perfect for family getaway. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Easy check-in after finally receiving check-in email from host. Unfortunately, our room was not clean by check-in due to system glitch but they offered us a late check-out for it. It was a nice, quiet area overlooking the river. Lots of room throughout the house. Clean, well organized. Kitchen had everything you could want or need. Bathrooms fully stocked with towels and washcloths. The only negative is the mattresses. The one in the basement is very noisy but we managed ok. Having a mattress topper available for guest would be a great added bonus if you can not update the mattresses. I would recommend this place to others. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The property was clean and up to date. We had a gorgeous view of the River from the living room as well as 2 of the bedrooms! The staff was super friendly on the phone as well as through the daily texts I received to ensure we were having a good time and everything was to our satisfaction!! Would definitely stay here again!

This location was convenient to the activities we had planned for our family. Our only complaint is the mattresses in all 3 rooms were very hard/firm, to the point that our 18 yr old son asked if we could leave early because it was bothering his back. Other than that, there was plenty of space for the 5 of us and it met all of our needs. We didn't cook at all while we were there, so I can't comment on that. Overall a good stay.

Great location, 2 hot tubs was a bonus, liked the timer on the gas fireplace so it didn’t get left on.

Everything is as described. The place was clean and in good working order. The location is convenient. The property management staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Will definitely be staying again at one of her rentals through Helen Cabin Rentals again, and using VRBO with their app!! We stayed at River`s Edge On The Hooch. Host/owner was very nice, attentive to our needs, quick to respond to questions. With three floors, my husband and I stayed on the bottom floor with living area, bedroom, and kitchenette. It was our quiet getaway from the hustle. Don't forget washer and dryer on 1st and 3rd floor. A lifesaver to packing light! Two balcony's, each with a hot tub. Waking distance from downtown, but we drove then walked mostly. Beautiful little town with plenty to do and see. I loved hiking up to see Anna Ruby Falls, double falls! The views were breathtaking. Two of the places we ate at were Big Daddys Restaurant & Tavern and The Troll Tavern. Delicious and plentiful, we could have ordered one meal and shared! Played mini golf at the Pirates Cove & Adventure Golf on a hot day, but the ice cream they gave us when we were done was a life saver. We had a bunch of fun! Don't forget panning for gold, and tours of the mines, at Consolidated Gold Mine is a must. Very informative on history and patient teaching you how to pan! The Helen Tubing & Water Park was directly behind us on the other side of the river. The water slides and lazy river were fun and relaxing. I had an order I needed to get while we were in Helen. The owner/host didn't skip a beat helping me! Made sure I had the correct address so we could ship it to the main office. They were great, I had to leave a message and got a return call from a wonderful lady that was so sweet and helpful too! Our only downside was the incline up to the rental. Pretty steep and my husband couldn't ride his mobility scooter up or down. We solved by driving down the incline, then took out of SUV. Would have been nice to have been able to go from the door, but when you can't have it the way you want, you figure it out and go from there.

Property was exactly as described and pictured. The river literally flows just feet away from the back door. The hot tubs were a welcome relaxing addition to the end of a long day. Definitely will be back!!

This property sits in Helen but is quiet and overlooks a river. The house was clean and everything worked except for the hot tub on the third floor- waiting on parts. We had a great time in the evenings playing games and enjoying our family. Close to tubing and horseback riding stables. Thanks for the great accommodations!

Great write up and post by either original owner or property manager, drawing in all sides of all family. Once you arrive and finally get the door open. Dirty door and door and all windows areas, in a National Health Pandemic known as COVID and being assured the cleaning crew were taking extra measures for this reason. 2 couples and my Mother is the party we had. Not only was unit unclean when we arrived, unit was rented under good faith in good order with two working hot tubs. The upper floor hot tub was down completely and the words of a maintenance tech it had been down many weeks, not a few, not a couple, but many. Every door way and switch plate had never been wiped down. The inside of microwave had spatter from previous tenant, the refrigerator had wilted flowers in green water leaving odor captured in refrigerator. None of the toilets were cleaned but a steri strip was placed on 3 of them, not the downstairs basement apartment. The upper floor had HAIR of every imaginable kind in Showers. Clear indication no cleaning occurred. Towels left out were white-ish and could certainly be used as a cleaning cloth. No vacuuming had been done. Lamp shade on middle level falling apart literally at its seam. Couch had two hefty tears. One patch was found on the floor behind couch. Basement apartment coffee pot has two inches of burned coffee left in pot never rinsed out. I spoke with Tammy at RentHelen.com, she advised she would send a new team out. When asked about the hot tub, she was conflict avoidant and advised a $25 fee for two days would be credited to card on file as that particular company was undergoing a personal crisis with a parent entering hospice. She would send another cleaning crew out immediately. When asked if there were any other units available I was told And should we leave we would be charged full amount anyway. crew arrived and “swept” some areas , attempted to make a show of “wiping” down areas, especially the outside grill, tables and chair . When asked about the flowers in the refrigerator, one of the ladies said those were hers forgotten earlier. The basement sheets found after stopping guests for the night, sheets were Brown/maroon and appeared to have been “Bled” on. Cannot be missed if they were washed and put on bed. From dishes, to sheets, bathrooms and floors. This unit needs to have attention and Amber certainly didn’t offer much incentive to return. $150.00 on the hot tubs. More to tel
