We decided to go in a day early. The host don was easy to work with and to contact. 5-star host. View and location were unbeatable. It was stormy that week but with all the glass it made it even better. We will be back to Dons awesome home.

Superb location, ample space and amenities, a surplus of kitchen gadgets and a plethora of whimsical lamps and light fixtures plus a fine assortment of guitars. So much to spark the imagination about the hosts identity making it near impossible to not have a good time.

My three sons and daughter in-laws came to celebrate my 70th birthday. Such a beautiful place. We will be back. Love Love Love.

This spacious house is perfectly appointed with all you will need for your stay. The location could not be better. It's private but a short drive to town and adjacent to beautiful parks. The decor is older but in good condition. We were a party of six but at least two more could have stayed with us in the plentiful accommodations.

Pelican Point was a perfect place for our family vacation. This comfortably large, well-equipped, unique house, with its beautiful views throughout, and it’s unique fascinating art, made for a wonderful family vacation. Don, the owner, has furnished the house with everything we could have possibly needed. Mendocino has always been our go-to place to relax and nourish the soul. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!

My wife and I have stayed at many beautiful Mendocino Vacation Rentals in the past, but the Pelican Point Rental takes the cake. From the moment we pulled onto the quiet neighborhood road just off Hwy 1, there was no denying we had arrived at our new favorite getaway. The entire neighborhood is peaceful and serene, with all of the homes sitting on ample property throughout the natural landscaped bluff - offering lots of privacy and an overall feeling of safety. We enjoyed morning walks through the neighborhood and seeing ocean views peak through the giant cypress trees while admiring the other beautiful homes. The Pelican Point Rental itself is clean, inviting and cozy, without feeling sterile and bare like some rentals we’ve experienced. We loved the big ocean facing windows in the master bedroom and livingroom. The eclectic decor gave the space even more personality, and seeing so many great guitars on display were a treat, as my wife and I are both musicians. The hottub was definitely where we spent most of our time, with the ocean views and music in the background it felt like we were on our own private island. Heavenly! We love visiting the Mendocino Village yearly, and plan on rebooking our future visits exclusively at Pelican Point(if it’s available!). It’s truly a special place with lots of personality, comfort, and a spectacular location.

Our family of 6 including tweens and teens, loved this property! The rich history through the owner’s art is fun to explore and learn. The property is gorgeous with sweeping views of the ocean and perfectly manicured landscaping. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for a home cooked meal. There were just too many incredible things to explore along the coastline before we had to leave. Phenomenal stop on a PCH road trip.

This is my second time staying here. This home and owner are amazing. Recommend to everyone.

B+ The fully stocked house was wonderful. The vews were spectacular! Very peaceul and quiet. The only improvements needed are with the bathrooms: updates would be nice, shower doors that close correctly, otherwise ---wonderful.!!!!

Pelican Point is great! Beautiful location, private, well stocked, comfortable for a crowd. Easy access to Russian Gulch SP, Mendocino, Ft Bragg, Point Cabrillo lighthouse. Host is very responsive. Loved the flora and fauna!

Cozy and very Northern California home with expansive ocean views.

Amazing views! We had a great time at this house for Thanksgiving! It was hard to want to leave the house at all with such beautiful views. The house was fully stocked! More than enough room for eight adults and one child. The owner was extremely responsive with responding. We used the spa one night but never got around to using the fire pit. We looks forward to staying here again in the future!

We really loved our stay at this amazing space! The deck is giant, the view spectacular and I could prepare a gourmet meal for 20 in this kitchen, no problem. Best equipped home I have ever rented. The roof over the game room was being worked on and we had a high wind rain storm which caused a leak, but the owner was on it immediately. I would definitely rent this house again.

Our kids loved running around outside, lots of wildlife sightings (an osprey, mama deer with two babies, turkeys...) and the upper deck with super comfy chairs was perfect for lazy coffee chat with old friends. There was enough room for two families to be super comfortable.

A great house that matches the beauty of its prime perch on a bluff above the Mendocino coast. Lots of quirky and fun art, many amenities, and an expansive deck with views that kept us out there hour upon hour. Excellent central location, too, with easy access to Russian Gulch State Park, Jug Handle State Reserve, the town of Mendocino, etc.
