We have already booked next year! Very clean, well stocked, roomy, and bright. Excellent location with a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to Captiva restaurants and stores, but you are also on a quiet street with little traffic. Easy to watch the sunset every night. Listing pictures are accurate. Plenty of beach gear including 2 umbrellas. Nice layout with 4 bedrooms and baths that has room 4 couples or a large family. Kingfisher was a great host. Separate 4th bedroom with bath and kitchenette on first floor is very nice and can be a good convenience for another couple wanting privacy or teenagers to hang out....

Great family gathering spot
Beautiful house and a perfect location near beach and restaurants. Layout was very good. The property was as listed and pictured, however a picture of the 4th bedroom on the ground level would have been helpful. It almost seemed like you were hiding the info for some reason. The complaint of someone prior about a mustiness in that room has been fixed. I was very pleased with the whole house. Well stocked kitchen utensils, pool and beach toys, and even a game closet. You should also update the picture of the ping pong table. This was a new one, not the bumpy one pictured.

Close to the beach
Lovely property close to the beach & Captiva restaurants. Pool was wonderful. We didn’t use the 4th bedroom as it was detached from the house and in the garage (& a little musty). Our kids slept on the floor in our room. We were okay with it, the rest of the house was wonderful. Just a heads up for anyone needing 4bedrooms - the garage room isn’t great. We would absolutely stay again!

Love Captive, the place was fine
great location with an easy walk to the beach. Check in / check out process super easy with Kingfisher. The house needs a little TLC for this price and some inexpensive upgrades would go a long way (carpet, etc.). The pool table and foosball were a great touch and the pool was warm which we appreciated. The pool doesn't get sun at all this time of year (Christmas) if that's important to you.

Awesome Place!
This place was wonderful. The home was beautiful, the pool was clean and refreshing and the beach is just a short walk away! The location could not be better with a short walk to the beach as well as to shops and places to eat and drink. The hosts are very responsive to any issues that may arise during your stay. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again if we ever make our way back to Captiva.

Charming house great location - needs some attention
Our group of three couples so enjoyed our week at the Bird of Paradise. Very comfortable, short walk to the beach and restaurants. However, for the price of this condo, we expected that it would be better shape. The fourth bedroom on the ground floor had a strong mold,sewer gas smell and was unusable. We had no Hot water for the first night...guess someone forgot to turn it on. Upon arrival dirty dishes filled the dishwasher and dirty dishes were in the cabinet. There were no steak knives...... which made our beef tenderloin Valentines Day very interesting!
