Stunning house and views. Homeowners have provided everything needed for your stay. Only minutes to town and shopping. Loved the turkeys and deer visits in the morning. Such a great weekend with family and friends.

This house and the owners went above and beyond on all our expectations!! We rent homes in the area a few times a year and this was by far our best experience yet! Had to contact the owners a couple times and both times got a quick response and they were very helpful. The house was beautiful and we did not need to bring extra of everything like normal (toilet paper, towels, blankets, etc.). Was very happy with our stay and will definitely rent again if available. :)

This house and host had everything you need to stay here. I communicated with the host before and he responded quickly and with all the information we needed. We had a blast!! Could not have asked for better views from every part of the house. We arrived just before a snow storm and had a wonderful time playing in the snow. We didn’t need to go to the resort to snow tube because there was a perfect slop on property. We stopped at a grocery store and got food for the time we would be at the house and cooked every meal in the amazing kitchen. This house has it all!! The pictures do not do it justice!! I have rented vacation houses for the last 8 years and this is the best one yet!!!

This is a beautiful property. Our son graduated from APP State on Dec. 15 and we spent a long weekend here with our family to celebrate. Great memories were made. It has beautiful views, very clean, spacious, and the owners are great. We will be back.

Nine of our family stayed, went skiing/snowboarding, and explored area for some other family activities. Enjoyed some axe throwing, & eating at some local favorites. The house provided a convenient place to stay in the area with great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub & pool table. The kitchen & eating area allowed the family to enjoy breakfast & dinners together. These were great times & made for new good memories.

Our 2 families (4 total kids) had an amazing time at this home. It was nestled in the woods but had amazing views and sunrise. It was a 3 floor home with 3 proper bedrooms and 2 other areas (loft and basement) with extra bed options. The kitchen was amazing, modern, with lots of appliances/cookware and stacked with all the basics (spices etc)
We enjoyed the fooseball table, pool table and board games. 3 TVs were large. Didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub on the deck but the fire pit was enjoyable.
Very clean and was nicer than photos.
Close drive to both Boone and blowing rock. Mins from appalacian ski mtn.
Will be back again!

We absolutely loved everything about this home. Super spacious! Great owners and very responsive always checking in on us. Very clean upon arrival and left plenty of supplies to help keep the house clean during our stay. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Ski vacation for the grandkids
The entire week was fabulous.
We all enjoyed the attractions available for all ages. The home is beautiful and close to EVERYTHING.
The most fun was watching our grandchildren ski for the first time and falling in love with it. They are looking forward to the next trip!!
We appreciate our hosts and thank them for a memorable experience.

Enjoyable Stay
The location was perfect. It was a 3 minute drive to App Ski Mtn and less than 10 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. The house was great and we really enjoyed the trip.

House is turn key easy to check in and out. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need. I can't think of one thing to change with this house. Skiing/Snowtubing weekend
The house was perfect for our family. The large kitchen made cooking & eating good family time together. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, pool table & several board/card games. We built a snowman, had snowball fight, did some sledding in the back yard. The bedrooms provided good sleeping arrangements for everyone.
The prop is very close to the Ski slopes. We went two days & one evening. We went snow tubing at Hawksnest & were able to eat out that afternoon. The restaurants in Blowing Rock & Boone provided great choices & food.
We will definitely visit again.

Lots of things to do at property for family with all ages, playing pool, hot tub, fire pit and plenty of space to explore the outdoors. Tim & Marsha really seemed to think of everything to make our stay comfortable! We did have one issue with the access code, but I was able to contact Tim and get it sorted out within an hour or so of first contact.

Great trip!
We stayed at the Mountain View for a getaway with our friends. The house was great. We did quite a bit of hiking and the furthest we had to drive was 30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. The eight seat dining room table was great for dining and card games. We would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Experience!
What a wonderful stay! We had my entire family of 10 celebrating my daughters college graduation. Perfect home for entertaining, great kitchen and wonderful views. The host could not have been more attentive or accomodating. Would highly recommend.
