This condo was very nice and clean. Everything worked properly and well organized. Great views and quiet location. Would definitely stay at this condo again!

This unit was perfect for our family and will stay again. To the heated pool, dog friendly areas, location to the beach and ease of access to all amenities.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was gorgeous, clear, well-located and decorated to the nines. Having a view of the beach was a great perk. Pleasing to the eyes and very therapeutic. Amenities were top-notch. Some we unfortunately did not have time to take advantage of such as the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. Beach access was nice. TVs and Bose system were definite bonuses. Lots of kitchenware was available. Appliances were up-to-date. Our doggie was well-accommodated. The beds were comfortable. Brooke was responsive and easy to get a hold of. However, after I had mentioned that one bar of soap was in the master bath but not in the guest bath, she had said she would provide an extra one but did not follow through. Minor details that were missing but not dealbreakers were shampoo/conditioner, facial tissue, extra toilet paper were not provided. It was a bit difficult to clearly find the place at first. Water pressure in the showers were a tad on the low side. Some of the towels provided had brown stains on the edges. A lightbulb was out in the master bath and the door to the walk-in closet was off the hinges. Despite these issues, we all had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.

The property is in a great location. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the water from the balcony. The beach is easily accessible across the street. The interior of the property is well kept with new appliances. Very spacious for our family of 5 and dog. Our stay could have been improved with clearer instructions about the exact unit# upon arrival. Some of the towels were dirty, however, there were enough extras for everyone. We also did not find the beach chairs and umbrella advertised.

Loved this condo and a great view . I will rent this in the future .

We have stayed here for the past 3 years and feel like it is our home away from home! Everything made our Annual Family/My Birthday Vacation the perfect one! The condo is beautiful, and the view is absolutely stunning. The beds were very comfortable, and the storage is sufficient. The only minor issue was the floor was not clean. I just mopped with water and it took care of the issue.

The only negative I have is that the water pressure in the master shower is awful. It could just need a new shower head. Other than that it was perfect for us. We hope to come back.

Beach Retreat 410, did not disappoint. It was exactly like the pictures that were posted. Loved the size of the rooms and the balcony was big enough for my whole family to sit out on. The swimming pool area was beautiful.

My family and I have been traveling to Destin for years and this was by far the best place we have ever stayed at. The condo was absolutely perfect! It was clean, spacious, beautiful, and in the perfect location. The beach and the pool were never crowded and so easy to access. The parking was great and easily accommodated large vehicles. My favorite part of the whole condo was the balcony. It was huge and private and we spent most of our mornings and evenings there. The building must be well insulated because we never heard any of our neighbors or their pets. There are several restaurants within walking distance and even a couple of stores. We had an amazing time and I absolutely plan to book this condo again.

We come to Destin every year and love Beach Retreat because of its location, non crowded pool, private walking distance beach, and pet friendly! This condo was fantastic. It was clean and had everything we needed. The third room with the bed against the wall worked out great for my kids! The youngest who is 2.5 slept closest to the wall, qnd 7 year old slept on the outside. They loved that cozy little room!

This spot was the perfect location! It’s right across the street from the beach, has beachfront views, and has chair/umbrella set up. The building was quiet overall, and we were thrilled to bring our fur baby. The unit was spacious and had a good sized balcony. We would definitely recommend!

This was a Mother’s Day getaway for my mom, myself, my 3 kids, and furbaby. The location was absolutely perfect. The condo was very nice, simply on the outside but inside was on point. Not having a whole lot of units means the pool was never packed. If I was to have any recommendations it would be to also have an access walkway on the opposite side of the building. Loved the location of the unit because it was directly across from the elevator and dog walking area, just would have been nice not to have to walk all the way around the building to get to beach. And the only other thing would be a chain latch or some type of lock on the main door of the unit because just having a pull down handle made it very easy for my not quite 2 yr old to open the door and try to excape.

Everything was great but in a description of the property a Xbox 360 was listed as one of the things in the condo. My son had new games that he wanted to play but there wasn’t one in the condo. This was really pretty minor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Just a great place. Wonderful location, great condo experience. All was really good. Only suggestion would be to provide extra blankets in the cooler months. It was a bit cool and not enough covers on the bed! I'm a cover hog however.

As soon as we walked in the condo we were blown away. Gorgeous view! So happy we were able to stay in this beautiful condo for 2 weeks after such a long time exclusively at home. Everything looked and felt very clean. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. Loved having the washer and dryer in the condo too! The pool was large, warm and empty. Perfect for my son. Couple of things worth mentioning are 1. I wish we had known that dogs are NOT allowed on the beach. Unless you live/own property there, you can’t get a license for your dog to be on the beach. None of the reviews mentioned that, and it wasn’t brought up anywhere on the VRBO site. We were stopped by a beach patrol the first morning there. Super disappointing. 2. I think it would have been nice to have some instructions for how to use the tvs. We figured it out eventually, but after reading the dire warning about messing up the tvs that was left on the counter in the condo, I was pretty nervous about that. 3. There aren’t any beach towels in the condo. 4. A lot of construction noise during our stay. From across the street and in the building. Not a big deal as we are early risers but wow, a hammer drill at 7:45am, in what sounded like the condo next door, was a little unexpected. Maintenance men came to inspect the balcony at 8:30am one day and we also came home to painters on our balcony one morning. When Brooke called me to ask about some more workers coming into the condo to check something, she hadn’t gotten my message about the painters and hadn’t been informed of any of the inspections/ workers needing to come in. So there is definitely some lack of communication between property management and owners. When we were having a problem with the Wi-Fi one evening though, they were right on it. All in all, we loved our stay here. Enjoyed some delicious food and beautiful views.

Great positives: Views, beach, comfortable and spacious condo. Should be noted there’s a eye sore of a building right across from the condo, and sitting on the balcony during the day was a noisy experience, as the building is being repaired. If you can overlook this for the Gulf views and crossing the street to go to the beach, you’re golden. The kitchen is very well equipped. But bring your kitchen basics: salt & pepper, oil, aluminum foil, etc. Bring your own beach towels. Maybe they’re provided in high season, as well as beach chairs, umbrella. Having W/D is a plus. Would recommend.

Great view, clean, roomy, beds are comfortable, beautifully decorated and great comfy balcony seating. We have stayed in this unit as well as their other units that this particular family owns. All are spectacular!

This was our fifth stay in Beach Retreat 410 and it was great as always. Brooke is a great host. The unit is comfortable and nicely furnished. Top end cookware in the kitchen. Gorgeous view from the balcony. We love the beach and the pool so we spent time at both. We love Kenny D’s! Also a good dinner tip for the nights you want to eat in but still crave seafood. Go to Winn Dixie seafood counter and pick out your shrimp (uncooked & unshelled) and have them steam it with Captain Bay’s seasoning. It takes 7 minutes and it’s delicious. We pick it up right before dinner and eat it warm. So good! Love MiraMar! Love Beach Retreat!

Beach Retreat is in an excellent location! There are only 44 units, making it very intimate and friendly. We got to know many of our fellow renters! The condo was very nice, but it could stand a good deep cleaning. The four of us spent the first hour wiping down the surfaces and vacuuming! There were also many light bulbs that need to be replaced and the rods to open the curtain were broken or missing.. Other than that it is a very nice condo and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our second stay at Beach Retreat. The location can’t be beat for amazing Gulf views from the balcony...walking distance to restaurants...or a short drive to other dining options & shopping. I picked this condo complex last year because it’s pet friendly & gulf front. My family & Yorkie “nephew” love it. Brooke is an exceptional owner...her properties will be the only place we stay. Already looking forward to next year.

This was the most beautiful comfortable atmosphere. Felt very at home. Everything was presented as listed. A million dollar view and great neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay and the condo was as beautiful as pictured. It has a great oceanfront view from a spacious balcony. The accommodations were not only stylish but comfortable and very pet friendly. The location was very convenient to restaurants and shops.
