A beautiful spot on the north coast of Maui in Paia. Well-appointed house (they even had tupperware for leftovers and a rice cooker, not things you always find) in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our vacation!

This property was great for two families traveling together. There was ample space for us each to have a separate space, but all be together too. Great views from both the upstairs and downstairs facing the ocean. We loved listening to the waves and seeing the turtles in Paia Bay. Location was excellent and we loved being in the center of Paia. We had a wonderful stay.

You can't beat the view and privacy that this property offers. With four bedrooms and two kitchens, proximity to downtown Paia, proximity to the beach, this property is a great value. The property manager, Stacy, was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We loved our stay at the Milo house! As soon as we arrived the view took our breath away and we continued to enjoy it for sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing throughout our week at the house. Everything in the home was comfortable and well-suited for cooking and hanging out as a family, but we were also a few steps away from all the shops and restaurants of Paia, and a short walk away from a beautiful beach for swimming. Stacy and the other caretakers of the property were very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The property was great! It was well put together and the accessibility to the town was so convenient. The property was clean and all we needed was there. We had a great time and were very impressed. The inside of the Cottage was a little dated but was very clean and cozy. The only thing we had an issue with was the the propane bbq was not very good. It should be upgraded to a better one. Other than that it was great!!

The location was nice and close to shops and restaurants. The view from the deck was awesome. We needed a roasting pan and the manager bought one the next day. The only suggestion is that the owner could supply some basic spices for cooking. We cooked all our meals and had to purchase everything we needed. Prices at the Safeway and Walmart by the airport were better than the local market in town. We had a great time exploring Maui using Milo as our base and place to relax watching the waves and surfers after a long day.

Family of 12. Rented the big house and one cottage. Right on the ocean and landscaping was beautiful. Beach out front of property was rocky, but nice sandy beach with waves 2 houses over. The property manager, Stacey, was always available to help with questions. Highly recommend this property. We will return.

The Milo Cottage was the perfect for our group of four 50-something men who sought to avoid the crowds in places like Lahaina and Kihei. The four-bedroom and two-bath house is located in a private gated compound on the water. Believe me, the views and seclusion will not disappoint! While the main commercial thoroughfare of Hana Highway is literally behind the house, most of the urban noise (except for the occasional garbage trucks in the early morning!) is drowned out by the sound of the nearby ocean. The upper balcony. lower deck, and additional living room/kitchen offered alternative private retreats within the house. The main kitchen was appropriately stocked, so we could easily several meals during our nine-night stay. We made good use of the gas grill on the lower deck. There is a good coffeehouse (the modern "Better Things") and an excellent grocery store on Baldwin Ave. Decent stores aimed at tourists are also within walking distance. Paia Beach may be accessed by a short walk down Hana Highway, but we generally climbed to the seawall and carefully waded through a slippery tidepool via our the private oceanfront in the back. You can't swim behind the house, but you can admire the many swimming giant turtles in that area. The nearby beaches in Paia are never crowded, so we found ourselves taking a daily dip in the morning and afternoon. The only crowd we encountered at the beach was the drum circle at secret Beach one Friday night. Anyway, Paia served as a good launching point to Haleakaka, Hana, Iao Valley, Lahaina, and so on. It is much cooler in Paia in the summer than much if the rest of the island due to the tradewinds. We all really enjoyed the stay at the Milo Cottage and hope to be back in the near future.

Perfect location for the paia and baldwin beaches and walking to town. The house was a great size for two teenagers two 12 year olds and two adults. The views and lanai were fantastic and we simply loved staying here. Mahalo!

LOVED this property. Love the location. Everyone was super friendly. Close to cute little shops but feels a world away. We would totally stay there again!!!

Milo Cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is easy access to nearby shopping, restaurants and beaches. We would recommend it highly and hope to return in the future.

Hard to imagine a better location for our Maui trip. The description was very accurate. In town, but yards from the ocean and a short distance to a very nice beach. Lots room for our group of 7. Was clean and stocked with just about everything we expected. We prepared most of our meals there and except for seasonings had everything we needed. The yard is beautiful and well maintained. The king bed was very comfortable, and I think everyone was fine with the others. The inside does show some wear, but it was a very small distraction.

Stacey was a pleasure to work with and helped us get everything situated for our large travel party of 8 adults, a 5yr old and an infant. The property was perfect and most mornings we sat out listening to the waves while drinking coffee. The double kitchen worked out wonderfully for us too- snacks and drinks downstairs and main food we did upstairs. There weren’t any complaints from anyone! The property is walking distance from a popular shaved ice front that is amazing! We definitely frequented that store just about every day of our trip. In addition the property is so close to the shops and restaurants of Paia, that you can walk everywhere you need to go. The beach, clothing stores, a little super market (with a ton of gluten free options if you need them)- if you need it Paia has it. Being near the Hana Hwy also had its perks- its close to Twin Falls, and a few other Hana attractions. We also drove to Haleakala crater and saw the sunset— it was indescribable. We were all so pleased with how our trip went and I even caught my dad looking at more flights to return! Mahalo Stacey for your help in booking the perfect family vacation!

This house could not have been more perfect. It’s right off the main road in Paia so you’re just steps away from all the best shops and food. Plus you have the most amazing private beachfront - we saw and swam with turtles every day! Best kept secret about the house. Already thinking about when we can come back and stay again.

We so enjoyed our stay at Milo Cottage, especially after having postposed our trip one year due to Covid!! The house is beautiful and had plenty of room with my husband and myself staying downstairs and our sons and their wives upstairs. The view from both lanais was fantastic! We frequently walked into Paia to the little grocery store and enjoyed eating at Milagros and the Paia Fish Market. Watching the sea turtles so close to the property was amazing as well as going to the nearby sandy beach! Thank you Stacy for allowing us to stay the extra hours!!

Spectacular listing in a fantastic location that is walking distance close to Paia. Centrally located and on the coast this vacation rental has everything you need. Clean, well equipped, and spectacular views of the ocean. We would not hesitate to book the cottage again on our next visit.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Milo House in Paia. The house was really lovely, had everything we needed and the location was perfect. My kids loved playing in the yard and we loved the ocean views. Not only is the property just steps away from gorgeous uncrowded beaches but also just steps away from the main commercial corridor of Paia filled with restaurants, shops, and (most importantly) shave ice. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Milo House was perfect for us! Lots of room for two adults and two "kids" ages 18 and 19 to spread out. We loved the ocean views and quick beach access (turtles!) We also enjoyed being steps away from restaurants, ice cream, shave ice, and shops. Stacy was quick to respond when we had a question.

Milo cottage was absolutely wonderful and perfect for our group. My husband and I and our infant stayed in the downstairs and another couple stayed upstairs. It was the perfect set up to have both shared and private space when needed. The property is beautiful and we loved being steps from the town of Paia and a short drive to Makawao. This has by far been our best experience with a property management company as well. Stacy was incredibly responsive, accommodating and even helped intercept a package on my behalf due to an urgent work need! We were so sad to leave and during our last few days in Lahaina we kept reminiscing about Milo cottage. Can’t recommend enough!

Interesting to have self-contained units on two floors. Since we were two couples, this was quite nice. Tons of towels and sharp knives for making our meals, a real treat. Only thing it could use a few more coffee cups and extra shampoo containers. We stayed a week and regret not having time for two.

A beautiful spacious house right on the beach. The walk to Paia takes 30 seconds! Well kept and beautiful grounds. Loved staying here and will come back as soon as we can.

Paia is an awesome little town, and this house is right there in the middle of it. So easy to walk to interesting shops, the Trader-Joes-on-steroids grocery store, and good restaurants. The house is on the ocean and, in the winter season at least, has lots of waves and surfers to watch, as well as birds and butterflies visiting the yard. The house is not luxurious, but utilitarian, which is all we needed. We used all four bedrooms and found the beds to be comfy and the air conditioning to be nice and strong. Plenty of ceiling fans helped keep us cool too. Only complaint is we could not figure out how to use the ice maker in the fridge upstairs, so we just used the supplied ice cube trays. Regarding the listing: It was not clear how the house is laid out. There are two levels, each of which has a living room, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. They are connected by an open stairway inside, so they are not two independent units. Which was fine, but a few more pictures might have helped. Also, the TVs in the photos are OLD; the actual TVs are newer.

Such a special spot! We will be back again and again! Great location- easy access to amazing beaches and the charming town of Paia filled with cute shops and delicious healthy food!!!!

Property was feet from the ocean with a great view. It was perfect for the seven of us. Short walk to gift shops down town Paia. The amenities of the house were great. Would stay here again next time on Maui.

This is. a great location and a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It's close to the airport, Costco and great beaches.

The location of Milo cottage cannot be beat. Only six miles from the airport, with Paia just steps behind the cottage and the ocean waves in front. We worried we might hear noise from the town, but all we heard were the wind and crashing waves. The only reason I didn’t give straight 5 stars was that the air conditioning was not functioning when we arrived. Stacy, the property manager, was very attentive, though, and managed an interim fix for a few days. Until the downstairs units were fixed. We will definitely return.

The Milo house was the perfect home base for a family. The location is ideal; my daughters loved walking around town and it was easy to find food in a pinch. Parking was no problem. The house has the most amazing view of the ocean and w beautiful beach is within striking distance. We had one sweltering day (it is August after all) when we wished the air conditioners were working, but most of our stay we did not need them. We have recommended this house to others and would definitely come back if we return to Maui.

The Milo home is perfectly equipped and centrally situated in Paia to enjoy every aspect of Maui. The support staff is very friendly and attentive to ensure an enjoyable stay. It’s a very short walk to the beach and town. We will stay here again! Loved every minute of our stay.

The house and grounds are in great condition. The house is right on the ocean- though the beach it's on is rocky and not ideal for swimming, a 2 minute walk brings you to the Paia beach park which is great for swimming. We also regularly saw sea turtles swimming around this beach, super cool. Overall a beautiful place- our second time at this house, and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again the next time we visit.
