Why go anywhere when you are in the most beautiful, relaxing environment you could every hope for. We could watch the turtles climbing onto the rocky shore below our balcony, as well as the amazing sunsets. The resort is homey and the managers in the office were so nice and friendly. After snorkeling with the tropical fish, giant turtles and a purple octopus, we could hop in the heated pool! Our room was beautifully updated and spotlessly clean. King size bed was super comfy. I would highly recommend this quiet cove to relax and really put you in touch with the beauty of Hawaii.

The first few days there was big surf so we enjoyed the sun and watching talented surfers and then we had calm days perfect for snorkeling. The pool is nice and warm and the grounds are beautiful. Our unit 119 was right on the water and perfect for us! We hope to go back!!

Many of which make their way on the rocky shore to rest in the afternoon. The rental office manager is the best! Su always makes us feel like ohana when we visit, which has been over 20 years now and is one of the reasons why we keep coming back! The rest of the staff are wonderful as well, Betty, Ray, Nelson, and Scott. The accommodations are not luxurious but are clean and very comfortable. Each individual decorated by each unit’s owner. Where else does every condo have a gorgeous view of the island of Molokai. Located in Napili and is very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Honokeana Cove is our happy place!

The unit is very nicely remodeled with nice appliances and good supplies in the kitchen. The turtles come up to snooze on the rocks right below the lanai. Great view of the sunset. It does tend to be pretty warm in August and September with direct afternoon sunlight, but I imagine in the cooler months it's the BEST.

That was the best part. Unit itself is a bit dark inside and the kitchen is woefully deficient in cooking and even eating utensils! It was a challenge to cook dinner and make cookies -- guessed on proportions and the Teflon pans were scratched and scary.

The property is quiet generally, and always quiet from 10pm to 8am. One note - if you want a very peaceful stay avoid the week of school Christmas vacation as many young people descend with their families and it can get noisy...The manager always controls the noise at night but evenings can be lively.

We like snorkeling, and the parrot fish and turtles were wonderful--as were the relaxing evenings on the lanai, watching sunsets and having long dinners watching the stars or moon over the cove (I also enjoyed barbing fresh fish). Su and Betty were warm and friendly in the office.

1. the living room furniture is very out dated and not comfortable setting.
2. the afternoon temperatures were unbearable with the direct sun. I do think putting in a ceil fan on the lani would help as there is no need for two lights.
3. the bedroom is very uncomfortable as well, the closet space is very small, so they have to hang extra clothing on a rack provided that takes extra floor space. When you pay this kind of money for a unit you would expect more from the owner in accommodations.
4. the kitchen, very old refrigerator, skillets need replacing, no trap for the sink, over all everything in the kitchen is a mess.
5.we love coming to the cove, but based on Unit #119 condition we will never stay in the unit again.
6. air conditioning would be a welcome addition.
7.Owners of any unit in the cove has to understand if they don't invest in improvements they are the losers in the long run. I don't mind paying their price, but the unit condition have to be up to par.
8. We love Su and her staff, but they can only do so much, the owners better get with the program with updates or they will see their return on investment go down.

It's just too bad that the entry and exit to the water on those kind of days is a bit dangerous. This unit would benefit from a new fridge.
