This house is very comfortable with incredible views from the balcony and just about every window. There are beautiful hiking trails a short walk from the house, and many more a short drive away. The house had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for our family and friends to gather, relax, and spend time together.

My family and I loved this house - it had everything we needed from relaxing in the hot tub or cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. Would surely rent this house again when we return to Sedona!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect! It had all the things a vacation rental should have and made for a relaxing and fun time for my husbands 50th bday get away. We will be back for sure!

I surprised my husband for his 70th birthday. Our 3 adult kids came and we pulled off the perfect surprise. The house was absolutely wonderful for us. The first night we were all together we played games in the game room. The 2nd night we were all on the main floor enjoying our family time together and the last night there we took family photos at sunset and then stayed out on the beautiful deck and enjoyed the stars. It was a perfect trip for us all. The house couldn’t have been better.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Doodlebug house! We had a group of 8 adults and the house comfortably held all of us. It was very clean and had lots of great amenities. The views from the decks are absolutely spectacular and were worth the stay alone! The pool area and putting green were a lot of fun. We didn't really use the game room but it looked like it would have been fun as well. Location was great. We felt like it was easy to get around Sedona from where we were. The neighborhood was also quiet at night, which made stargazing enjoyable, and seemed very safe. There were a few things around the house that could use a slight repair but nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the property. The hosts were very responsive when we ran into a minor snag. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends.

I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay in Sedona! My husband and I went with 2 other couples and had the best time. The house is spacious, comfortable and has everything you may need. The outside is a dream! We spent so much time in the pool and hot tub, we weren't able to take advantage of the large game room. Guess we will have to come back :) The owners are friendly and helpful.

Just as advertised: fabulous view and wonderful amenities. Clean and well maintained. Hosts easy to communicate with. Very special touch with coffee/fixings, spices for cooking, and extra paper products. Very well organized and livable.

The Doodlebug house was a great place for our group of friends who has not seen each other in a few years to get together. We found it clean, comfortable, and the landscape is beautiful. There were ample supplies for us to cook ourselves. Check in and out were easy, and the hosts were very accommodating when we made a last minute request to have the pool heated. Would recommend!

The property was beautiful. Incredible views, amazing pool and jacuzzi. Decks everywhere overlooking red rocks. Very comfortable home and accommodations in a perfect location south of Sedona so you can avoid the Sedona traffic.

We were looking for a quiet place for our friends and family to celebrate a milestone birthday and this did not disappoint. Sedona is one of our favorite places and we would happily stay here again.

Perfect house for 6 adults friends - plenty of room, stocked with everything you might need. The pool, hot tub and deck are amazing! We didn't bother with a star-gazing excursion because the views from the house were AMAZING! We would go back in a heartbeat!

The property is fantastic! As advertised. The AC ran a bit warm but it was HOT while we were there. The auto locks didn’t work when we arrived but prompt communication fixed it within 10mins. The patio is absolutely everything - we spent most our time there. The outdoor portion of the property needed some TLC but we enjoyed our stay! Kitchen was great with a large island. About the walk down to the pool at dark - just watch for scorpions and black widows which is definitely common for the desert. Just keep your phone light handy! But the outdoor space at the pool is great, complete with kitchen area and restroom!

The pictures are exactly as described and the other reviews are on-point. It's a charming house with a location that is superb. The owners have done a great job of modernizing and adding personal touches. The kitchen is fantastic, well stocked and the view out of the kitchen window is second to none. We sat outside on the deck and watched the stars come out. My kids had never seen so many stars and it was one of the reasons we came to Sedona. Airport Mesa sunsets were also a huge hit for us. We drove up to Grand Canyon and stayed up there but we all wished we had booked a couple more nights in the Doodlebug house and made it a day trip. I would recommend parking in the upper driveway, even though you have to get used to the tight turnaround. We would absolutely go back!

Amazing house, the owner had all the essentials! Really made the home welcoming and oh so easy to settle into. Easy to get answers and all inquiries handled in a timely manner. I would love to vacation here again and would highly recommend!

Beautiful spacious home and property with amazing Sedona red rock views in any direction. The house was clean, with tons of space for our family of four. The kitchen had everything you could ask for as far as utensils and small appliances. Excellent job providing plenty household necessities that many rentals skimp on (toilet paper, washing machine/dishwasher soap, trash bags, even shampoo/shower gel). Between the game room, and pool area with a putting green and whirlpool tub, my teens never ran out of anything to do when at the house. The house is only about 6 minutes to uptown Sedona, 7-10 minutes to most areas of West Sedona, and about 10 minutes from the Village of Oak Creek, making it the perfect location in Red Rock country. We hiked several days, and the furthest we had to travel to get to a trail head was 25 minutes. We would stay here again if in the area!

The house was as beautiful as the views. My family and I had an awesome stay. The neighborhood was quiet and still close to everything in town.

Clean property, great views, every amenity.

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend here with our kids and their wives. House is in a great location just five minutes from town, with great views off the two decks. We enjoyed basking in the winter sun during the day and warming ourselves by the outdoor fire pit at night. House is well appointed, with numerous nice touches like bathroom amenities (qtips, shampoo/soap, body lotion) a well stocked kitchen with many basics (coffee/tea, oil/vinegar/spices, etc) to make our stay more comfortable and convenient. Hot tub and pool were very nice, and we took advantage of the grill to bbq some nice steaks. Definitely on our redo list!

This was the perfect property for 4 women vacationing together. Everyone had their own space and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunrise over the mountain with the firepit glowing was definitely a highlight. It was well located in relation to downtown and uptown Sedona. Quiet neighborhood. The driveway was very steep and you do need to get used to tight, 3 point turns to get in and out but after the first time it wasn't too bad. The entire place was very clean which is one of the most important things to me. All the amenities you'd want were in the kitchen and bath except for bath robe hooks (at least upstairs). They didn't skimp on cheap toilet paper or paper towels (Charmin & Bounty). Some of the features could use a little updating but it wasn't a deal breaker. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening but would definitely recommend flashlights because there is little to no lighting in the pool area at night beyond the steps. We meant to tell the owners this as a suggestion but failed to, so hopefully they will see this review. The owners were quick to respond to our 2 inquiries. All in all, a win if you have several individuals or families traveling together.

Location was perfect! The house is exactly as described. Great views and the house was well stocked with kitchen essentials and other amenities. The pool was a perfect destination after our morning hikes!

We had a wonderful stay at The Doodlebug house. The house was immaculate, the grounds were spectacular, the views were magnificent! The house had a basement for my children to play in, the rooms were clean and fresh- very comfortable linen. I would love to come back again to this house in the future. A winner! Thank you!

Great place, and location. Plenty of kitchen products. Was great to have paper products and spices available too. Beautiful views of Sedona landscape. Outdoor areas could use a little TLC, but did not deter from our stay. Great pool, all enjoyed the putting green, hot tub needs some repair, but worked. Thank you again!

This was a wonderful home away from home on our vacation! There was plenty of sleeping space for our group (4 adults, 3 teenagers 19/18/17 y/o). The pool was perfect for an after-hike cool down. Our group had 3 teenagers - soooo much for them to do .... pool, hot tub, putting green, game room with pool table. The outdoor seating area with the fire-table was perfect every night for relaxing and star gazing - and for morning coffee. The views were breathtaking. It's also a great location to the downtown area, just a short drive for food and shopping. Plenty of parking in the two driveways. It seemed like a central location for lots of hikes, activities and sightseeing spots. The house was very clean and looked just like the listing photos. Overall, this was a wonderful house for our group. Definitely recommend for your home away from home on your vacation!!

This is a beautiful house and property and the listing is accurate. My family ranging in age from 5-78 had a wonderful experience at the house and in Sedona. Sunrise views each morning, lovely pool area in the afternoon, comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked and had all we needed. Fantastic!
