This house is so awesome and the back yard is incredible. The back yard is so beautiful and relaxing. We have young children and with supervision the backyard was great for them to play around. The house is exactly as it looks, and equipped with everything you need. It was very clean and comfy. The bathrooms even have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! I was a little worried that it didn’t have AC, but honestly it cools down enough in the evening that we didn’t even need it. We definitely will stay here again, we didn’t even want to leave!! Thank you for a great place!

The home was exactly as advertised and more. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with supplies, cookware and dinnerware and perfect for a family vacation. The location was awesome, close enough to Durango but far enough away to feel some seclusion. The back yard was awesome and the view was fantastic. The only negative of the entire stay was the neighbor dog showing up at the back door everyday and roaming the backyard. One additional comment, all of the outdoor potted plants were brought inside to protect from the cold and caused issues with allergies with some of our family members. We found the home to be very comfortable and enjoyable for our family Christmas gathering.

There were four of us that wanted to get away for a long weekend and this home and property were perfect! It's about 9 miles north of Durango and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We would sit on the deck with your coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings. One morning 20 wild turkeys decided to treat us to a parade, 3 times! We also saw a moose on the way to Ouray!! Back to the property... the beds and pillows were very comfy, the home was immaculate and the furniture perfect. We want to have this an annual trip and we'll definitely stay here again. We loved our stay in Durango and particularly this home in this location. First, the house was spotless with lots of natural light and beautiful flowers adorning the windowsills inside. We had everything we needed and more. The Hot Springs were literally a couple miles up the road, and the best surprise of all was a restaurant (literally in the neighborhood) called Hermosa Creek Grill! They offer breakfast and lunch that were both mouth watering good! Convenient location for takeout too. We will definitely be back!!

The home was well situated and well stocked. We enjoyed the great room upstairs, with the two gas fireplaces (one big and one little) and the board games and the little office for online school. We all slept well in the downstairs bedrooms and were so grateful for the washer and dryer. But the backyard was just incredible - snow and snow and snow, room for snow people, small hills for sledding, and even a short hike up a steep hill to reach the gorgeous national park. Yes, the home is in a small neighborhood - but just looking out the back windows makes you feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Thank you for the much needed respite!

This was the perfect Colorado vacation home. Lucky us, it snowed the day we arrived! The view from the main floor windows showcased a winter wonderland. The home was clean, bright, and cozy. This is a large home with plenty of room for everyone to gather together or have their own nook for some privacy. We loved having access to the garage for parking during our stay. Two thumbs up!

Our stay was very peaceful. We loved the beautiful backyard! We ate on the deck, sat across the creek reading, and watched the birds, chipmunks etc. Relaxing! Definitely recommend!

Spacious home for family to all have space....outdoor living space is amazing with creek and large deck area. Home well situated between town and high country allowing for easy access to many attractions. Very clean and many nice little amenitities to make you feel at home but also vacation. Would return for certain to this home.

after our cruise was cancelles due to this stupid virus, we decided the mountains were calling and we must go! This property was perfect for what we needed. The stairs are only 2 short flights so my 75 year old mom was able to navigate them pretty easily with the handrails and her cane. The kitchen is well stocked, so you won't need anything there! The property is peaceful and beautiful. In addition to my mom, we had me and my husband, our son who is 21, and our 13 year old daughter. This is close enough to Durango to be super convenient but far enough out that there is no hustle and bustle. The property caretaker lives next door and he is super nice and will do anything he can do for you. We also had our dogs with us. The only issue we had, which was in no way the fault of the property manager or the rental company, was the neighbors to the right of the property were rather rude, and they would let their 3 dogs out, unleashed, and they would run over and come after our dogs when we were out with them (ours were leashed). At one point I had to physically step between two of their dogs and my daughters dog as they were aggressively coming after our dog. Their dogs would also poop in our rental property, the owner would not pick it up, and so that left us picking up after their dogs. She was really very rude about it. So, just as long as you are forewarned about the neighbors to the right... you will have their dogs in your yard daily. I would still stay here again and hope to return another time!! The property is stunning.

Very nice stay. My one suggestion would be for additional pest control. I understand the location lends to insects/bugs however there were several spider encounters.

We loved that the house isn't decorated like a "cabin." It is roomy and modern and comfortable and homey. The backyard is to die for! The kids and the dogs loved playing in the creek and running back and forth across those bridges. I got some truly amazing pictures. There wasn't too much to "do," thanks to Corona, but 3 days of pure relaxation were just what we needed. Definitely try the burgers at James Ranch Grill, and buy some delectable honey from Honeyville. My sister in Texas was so impressed by the pictures and videos we sent her that she is looking into booking a stay as well.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the house. Our young children (4 and 6) loved the home and it was the perfect place for them! The bunk beds were great and there were plenty of toys available for them to use. The highlight for the kids, however, were the creeks running through the property and they had hours of fun playing and splashing. The house was extremely clean and was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time outside, taking a hike right out the backyard, and eating on the back deck. We will absolutely stay here again!

Back yard was perfect for coffee in the morning. It was clean, very comfortable.

The house was in a beautiful location. Clean. Warm. Great size for 2 families although the kitchen was a little small but it did have everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay for 6 nights over Christmas with plenty of snow. The only bad part was the cleaner had said we had an accident in one of the beds. I know we did not and they didn't have any photo evidence of it. It made me feel a little stressed that we weren't going to get our bond back BUT thankfully we did. So, in the end it worked out but it was just a little unpleasant having to deal with that whilst we were still travelling around on our trip.

It was very pretty and clean and had everything we needed in order to be comfortable. It has a nice back deck and we spent a lot of time just relaxing out there with a cup of coffee!

Property is well maintained, accomodations and grounds are both great, close enough to Durango to access town quickly, yet far enough out to feel 'away from the crowds'. We particularly enjoyed Hermosa Creek Grill one morning for breakfast and found PJ's Gourmet Market to be a great place for groceries when needed.

We were a family of 4 with our dog. We truly enjoyed the property and the little creek that was right behind house. Close to town (10 min) but far enough away. Would stay again!

Perfect location near Durango and the various attractions. We loved the home. Quiet and peaceful yet close enough to downtown Durango to enjoy the dining and nightlife.

The home was lovely and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our time there. We were not at the home very much and would have liked to be able to stay longer to enjoy both the inside and the outside surroundings.

Nice home with lots of space to spread out. Loved the patio and backyard. Saw deer a couple of times. No air conditioning but didn’t need it. It was in the 90s a couple of days. But the bedrooms downstairs always stayed cool. Opened the windows in early evening and it cooled down nicely in the living area with the ceiling fans going. Great location just about 10 minutes north of Durango. Out of the busyness of town but close enough for shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again!

We loved everything about this property!! The location was perfect, just outside of Durango to feel like we were far enough, but not so far that we couldn’t zip back into town!! The house was spotless with every amenity we could imagine!! And the best part was the back yard!!! A tiny creek and larger creek, amidst the beautiful flowers and landscape!! Loved it
