It was a nice house in a great spot!

My stay here was amazing ! The back deck looks so much bigger and better in person it blew me away. The house had everything we needed and in such a great location !! Would definitely stay here again.

Property was perfect. Plenty of beds, very clean, homeowners were very helpful and timely with communications. Our party of five was quite comfortable. Plenty of outdoor deck space to hang out. Outdoor shower and faucet were clutch for sandy returns from the beach. The beach is close by...maybe an eight minute walk. The only thing we would change is to perhaps add another frying pan. Apart from that....perfect. Thanks!

This property was perfect for our group of 7, fitting everyone very comfortably and with enough room in the common areas to all be together. We utilized the back patio deck the most, it’s perfect for bbq dinners or just some simple sunbathing. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the owners were quick to respond to any questions whenever we asked

The place was great in all aspects, a short walk to the ferry right next to some great bars restaurants and shops and extremely friendly hosts! The house listed 2 bikes but actually had 4, there were supposed to be no towels but the owners left a few a long with some warm blankets. Would highly recommend staying here and will be again in the future.

We enjoyed 3 nights in the fall here. We love that season for its quietness on fire Island even though many businesses are closed for the season. The house is easy to get to from the ferry. It is so clean and everything is as we expected. Thank you!

To my daughter and her friends to the beach for the week ...6 - 18 years old girls . Could not have been any more perfect of a beach hose. The location was great, hosts were super helpful and very kind. Highly recommend this rental!!.

The house was easily accessible and just as advertised. There were more than enough beds and AC in every room which was a huge plus. Peter was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process and stay. The kitchen was upgraded with a dishwasher and there were three showers. Overall great experience and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend in this home. It was very clean, neat, and had plenty of kitchen supplies. The owners are very helpful and also very nice to boot! It’s location to the ferry is great, and the house’s backyard is very private. It was a great family getaway!! We’re looking forward to returning!!

We loved this house: from the front porch to the living room, 2 main bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The design touches were appreciated throughout; I especially loved the kitchen and bathroom tiling. We felt very much at home here, and very well taken care of by our hosts, Lydia and Pete. The outdoor shower off the huge deck was a plus, and the "cottage", which provided an extra room with two sets of bunk beds, plus an extra bathroom. While we didn't need this much space, we quickly imagined which family members or friends we'd invite to join us next time! Lydia was always available for questions and tips. The bikes were great and we got a lot of use out of them. The location is so close to the ferry, The Schooner, a good restaurant & bar, and the Pantry, a deli with great coffee and acai bowls! This is a perfect town to stay in for a restful, fun retreat, and this will certainly be our place to return to in OBP. Thank you, Lydia & Pete!

This was an adorable house right off the ferry - great location! It was quaint and but up to date. Very clean and well managed. We had a great time and the owners were willing to work with us when we asked for a later check out time. We will definitely be renting again!

We had 2 adults and 4 teenagers and we all felt comfortable and enjoyed meals together and LOVED having a few bikes at the house so there was even less hassle to deal with renting them. Although we all have stayed around Ocean Beach in the past, we are sold on Ocean Bay Park after our wonderful week and can't wait to return. We could easily walked in and out of Ocean Beach or had the option to jump on a bike as well if we wanted. The adults really enjoyed Flynns and Schooners casual and lower key weeknight sunsets which were both a stones throw from our house.... . We had to be a little creative with the Kitchen supplies as we are BIG PASTA/SALAD BOWL kind of people, lol... but you come to Fire Island to enjoy the Island and all it has to offer and the house was a perfect place for us to be able to do this and make lots of fun memories!

The house is perfect for a family, nice with bikes and the patio. We would definitely like to come back!

Beautiful place with big private deck with outdoor shower. Lots of space with modern kitchen and bathroom. For us the location was perfect because it was facing the bay on the main walkway. Store very close by that had fresh fruits, deli and everything we needed plus the sweetest people working there. Personally we prefer ocean bay park because it is more chill and laid back then ocean beach. 6 bikes and a wagon to use so we had everything we wanted. The owners were great, quick to respond by email and made sure the place was immaculately clean when we arrived.

We just came home from a wonderful weekend in Ocean Bay Park. It’s unbelievable that I have never been to Fire Island even though I live on Long Island. The home was perfect. Spic and span, a real home that is cared for. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the people go by and looking out on the bay. We were a group of women and we really liked the arrangement of this home. Walking out of the kitchen right onto the large back decks was very convenient when BBQing. The homeowners were great, very patient answering all our questions. Both markets were open and we took the bikes to Ocean Beach and around the island. We had a great time in this wonderful house!

There is a reason this house has a five star rating. It is just a great beach house that is owned by a wonderful couple who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. The house is a quick walk from the ferry and it is two blocks to the ocean. The house has a pretty porch that allows for people watching as well as provides a view of the bay. The home is spotless and because the owners take such good care of the home it comes equipped with basic cleaning supplies which is a nice surprise. The bedrooms are all pretty and the linens were fresh and crisp. The kitchen and bath have just been redone and are very well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining nook was laid out nicely. The deck area is very large and has a few sets of tables and chairs. Entertaining was a breeze with the deck.The back third bedroom is perfect if you desire a bit of privacy as that had its own bath as well. We all used the outdoor shower and the faucet to wash the sand off your feet was priceless. We all enjoyed the bikes but we followed the owners lead and kept a bag with us to cover the seat as they do get damp quick! If I could I would give this house even more stars. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect Fire Island vacation.

I came for a beautiful fall girl's weekend with 10 girls. We had a great time at this house. The home was very clean, the kitchen and bathroom were new. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 10 of us to enjoy the house comfortably. The deck was a great place to hang out and was also very large. The home is very close to the ferry and extremely convenient. The owners were great to work with and very very helpful. They really went above and beyond. Overall I was very happy with my experience and would recommend this rental to family and friends

Overall my weekend at this house was absolutely wonderful. Pete and Lydia from the beginning were incredibly helpful, helping me to coordinate things like getting groceries to the house and needing everything for our stay from the beginning. The house itself was extremely nice, exactly as described. Enough space for a 10 person group to fit very comfortably. Moreover, you have all the amenities you need to make it feel like a real home. The kitchen is fully stocked with the plates, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, etc. to be able to cook and and all meals. Towels, sheets, etc. are all provided so that you really don't have to worry about bringing too much. Furthermore, there are other additional things to augment your stay. For example there are 4 bikes you can use which is extremely nice. Finally, the location is wonderful. Its just seconds from the dock which is great for when you arrive. And its just a couple of minutes to the beach. Overall, I couldn't have enjoyed my experience more. I was so thankful that whenever I needed anything Pete and Lydia were extremely kind, responsive, and helpful. I would most definitely stay here for my next Fire Island visit and I encourage all of you to do the same!

Every year my college friends and I try to get together somewhere for a reunion. This year we were in search for a place just outside Ocean Beach where we could enjoy some much needed fun in the sun. This cozy but spacious cottage nestles in between Flynns and the OBP ferry. When arriving to the house you will notice the fantastic porch which is great for just relaxing and having a great time. Inside the house there is a brand new kitchen/ bathroom with nice hard wood floors. The place has a huge back deck too which was great for lounging about. The location could not be better close walk to the beach and bars. If you are taking your own boat theres a decent amount of space to moor out and wade in. The people who own this place are truly sweethearts and available at any hours if you have any questions. You can't can't ask for anything more.. great rental owners and a perfect location. I know I will be booking this place again next year with my friends.
