We had a great time here. Good communication and the house was clean. No issues at all. We loved how close the beach gate path was and makes getting to the beach super quick. Would highly recommend, we look forward to staying here again!

After a busy week of touring in California we really enjoyed our week in Aptos. The location was great with the beach and dining options within walking distance. The house had everything you needed and was very comfortable.

Worked well as our base to Car Week in Carmel and for a quick jaunt to the Beach. Clean and well kept, the host were quick to respond to any questions

We were here on business, but when time came to kick back and relax, everything was perfect. Sasha and Marina are wonderful hosts.

It was better than we anticipated! Beautiful home and very clean. It is a short walk to the beach in a great neighborhood. The neighborhood is south of downtown so you don't have to deal with the crowds which was great! The owners are very kind and receptive as well. Thanks for having us!

This is a great rental. Perfect location: 3 min walk to the beach, 10-15 min from Santa Cruz boardwalk. The hosts really make it nice for families (park pass, aquarium passes, beach toys and board games) and nice for adults (clean, welcome bottle of wine and locally made lemonade). We drove both north to Capitola and Half moon bay and south to Monterey and the Big Sur.

The location was great, the area was conveniently located. House was very clean, very comfortable. Owners/ managers were very nice. Anything you needed was in the house and ready for use. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Worked well for us as we were local and needed a place to stay and store a few things while we were getting our house fumigated.

What a sweet home! We felt welcomed by the home owners. Check in was easy even at 10 pm. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed for a busy wedding weekend. We loved waking to the sound of the ocean and the gorgeous gardens that are visible from every window. We also brought our Mountian Bikes and loved having a side entrance to a secure garage with laundry! So easy and comfortable. Thank you

Great place to stay. We were very happy upon arrival that the unit was clean and very well stocked. It put a reminder please and we were able to enjoy our trip which was my sons wedding. Marina And Sasha were excellent hosts

The place was so comfortable, very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Also many “extras” we don’t usually see at most rentals… the area is beautiful and quiet. Also the path to the beach is nothing short of enchanting! Sasha and Marina are perfect hosts… great communication! We will be staying there again….. Thank you Sasha and Marina!

What a wonderful place to stay. Close beach access with a beautiful path almost across the street and drive up access 2 blocks down. Our hosts met us as we arrived and were welcoming with a wealth of local information. The house comes with member passes to the Aquarium and state park passes. And all the beach toys and supplies your family could need. We are already looking forward to returning many times in the future.

The homeowners were very welcoming and gracious! We loved staying with them and felt very cared for. The place was sweet, clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable beds!, and the access to the beach was amazing. All of the beach toys were perfect for us, and the access to the Aquarium and State Park were a huge bonus that we utilized. We look forward to coming back!

Rented this for our daughter and her family. The place is lovely and very family friendly. The Beach-gate path feels like a magical approach to the beach.

This our third year staying here and we look forward to it all year. We stayed for a whole week. We were thinking of going somewhere else for summer vacation this year but our daughter was so set on going to "our" beach house where we can walk down the wooden steps to the beach and go get ice cream down the street in the evening. I love that this feels like a second home to her. We are glad we can make lasting memories. Marina and Sasha's house feels clean but also comfortable. It's amazing if you have kids because of the outdoor shower and garage full of beach chairs, towels and beach toys. We also use the aquarium passes every year and the state park pass. Definitely a bonus! We highly recommend!

We had already planned to visit the area but decided last minute to find a spot as our friends house would be a little crowded for the weekend. So happy we came across Marina and Sasha's lovely home! They are absolutely amazing people, very friendly and we are so happy we were able to meet them and stay at their beautifully remodeled Aptos home! Two minute walk from the beach path makes this even better but my favorite part of the trip was how generous and open they were to me and my family! They invited us up for ice cream and to just talk during our stay. This weekend was for my birthday and the hosts were so kind to give me a very nice basket to help me celebrate my birthday weekend! Definitely coming back!

We stayed at this place in November 2021. From the start the experience was horrible. First the key and lock for the main door looked like it needed to be replaced. We could not get in and had to call the owners and wait for them to show up to give us another key to a separate door. Inside the place had mold in the kitchen and parts of the wooden floor were warped and likely moldy underneath. Our entire family fell sick likely due to mold allergies. We also did covid tests just to be sure and thankfully they were all negative. We had to cut our visit short and this totally ruined our vacation. We reported this to the owners and they said they will get mold testing done and share the report with us. They never did that and never refunded us any money even though we could not stay at the property. VRBO did not support us with the issue either. This is the last time we are using vrbo. I would highly recommend no one else stay at this property if you care about your health.

Outdoor shower helps a lot when coming home covered in sand. Very quiet neighborhood, highly recommend sleeping with a window open so you can hear the ocean. 😃 Small market and restaurants are an easy walk, Safeway is right across the freeway too so it is easy buy food instead of trying to pack everything. This place also has a ton of books, dvd’s and games to play if you would rather stay inside. The aquarium passes are a fantastic perk, were able to get our family of four (7, 8 YO) in for no cost. We went on a weekday, which i highly recommend unless you like mosh pits filled with children. Owners were very fast at responding and extremely helpful. Got as far south as Big Sur, visited the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Park. Nice and quiet location away from the tourists in Santa Cruz. Well appointed house. Would love to come back and experience Aptos in a different season.

Everything about our stay was perfect: location, amenities, small touches!

I thought i was renting a house but its an apartment. The unit is well equiped within walking distance if the beach and great restaurants nearby. The place is in need of some repairs. The shower handle is loose no pressure and the corner kitchen cabinet needs to be repaired at the hinges. Also strange are bedding did not include a top sheet. Great to have passes to the parks and monterey aquariums. Lovely owner.
