I did a girls trip with 6 friends and the Starr Buck Lodge was perfect. The cabin is surrounded by the beautiful Smoky Mountains so the views were breathtaking. The cabin provided each of us our own bedroom with all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend.

The home was perfect for a large group of friends. We have known each other for 55 years. Travel around the country and re-ignite our youthful memories. The numerous places to sit, visit, and eat made it perfect. There have been a dozen choices over the years. One of our best property choices to date. Thank you from "The Boyzz from Illinoiz" P.S. We were in PF celebrating my in laws 60th anniversary celebration. The cabin was perfect for us. We were a party of 9 and had more than enough room. We all enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, and the arcade games. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as we cooked breakfast and dinner while we were here. I did reach out to the owners and they were very prompt to respond and addressed our concerns. The view from this cabin was absolutely gorgeous!! We will definitely stay here again for a large family gathering. I highly recommend this cabin!!!

Our Gay & Sober group organizes an annual hike and trip to Dollywood. This property at Buck Starr Lodge was outstanding. A perfect location with scenic views. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning.

The house was exactly as described and photos were accurate. Location was perfect. Outside of the Gatlinburg traffic but close to everything. After our stay, a couple very small items were mentioned to the property manager and she said they were immediately addressing. They did not bear any negative impact on the trip. Overall great weekend with family. We would stay here again.

This is a great house, amazing layout, and close to so many attractions. We were a family of 14 and had plenty of room. The views are incredible. The owner/host is very attentive and responsive to any requests or concerns during your stay. Easy check in and check out process.

This was a Christmas gift to all my kids and their family. There was 10 adults and 10 kids was suppose to be 12 kids but 2 couldn't make due to sickness. Plenty of room and the kids enjoyed the game rooms! Highly recommend

The cabin was perfect, especially if you are planning to visit Dollywood. The views were stunning. Plenty of space, great bathtubs. My only complaint would be that it needs a good deep clean.

Layout is super cute and the owners were amazing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking.

The view, the cabin, and the experience were all wonderful. Had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook for a large group. The time on the porches was worth the trip alone.

You’ll find me saying nothing negative about this property or the property owner! From our arrival to our departure all 19 of us, ages 3 to 71, had the best time. The accommodations were great and the views from the wraparound porch were breathtaking. All kitchen items were there for our use. An incredible provision. Before we arrived, I asked about a recliner because of hip problems my husband has. I was referred to Rent A Center and that was an incredible experience as well. The guys delivered the recliner right at our arrival time and picked it up just as we were leaving on Saturday. They carried it to a second level and set it up. Because of that my husband was able to have a good nights rest every night. One day in the afternoon, I contacted the property owner about treating the hot tub, which had had a lot of use. The next morning, the guy was there to take care of it! Thank you Tar, for referring us to them! The owner was prompt, attentive and went above and beyond meeting expections. As we were leaving, one of the three year old twins wondered if he could go to his Tennessee house, and the other one cried because he didn’t want to leave his family. All in all our experience was excellent and we want to say a whole hearted thank you to Tari!

Overall the property was nice. However for the price paid the remotes and DVD players should all be in working order and without wires hanging haphazardly in a corner.

Great place for an extended family reunion / vacation! Lots of space for hanging out together & comfortable private bedrooms, lots of space for each family unit. Kitchen had everything we needed. Games keep kids happy, and the view is amazing! Great location too, convenient to everything in the area.

We had an amazing time. Those views were the best part of this cabin. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the back porch. Location is perfect. Easy drive to all the attractions in pigeon forge. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable for our party of 13. Hosts were great and very responsive. Highly recommend a stay here.

Our family of 14, 9 adults and 5 kids had plenty of room for everyone, both in the common spaces and spacious bedrooms. The cabin was clean and well fitted for every need. Kitchen had any appliance, cookware and serving pieces you could imagine. The location was awesome, quick to Pigeon Forge, Smoky Mountain NP and Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect mountain house for a 3 day weekend with family. Close to everything, amazing view and looked neat as a pin. Would definitely recommend for any family.

My group and I stayed during Super Bowl weekend. The cabin was very spacious and the view was amazing! The master bedrooms are so relaxing with the soaking tub. We had no problems with hot water. There is more than enough cookware/utensils but you’ll have to bring spices/condiments etc if you plan to cook. Absolutely nothing negative to say. I would recommend if you’re traveling with a large group.

Our family met for our Christmas celebration in Starr Buck Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had plenty of space for the 14 of us to sleep, bathe, cook, eat and play comfortably. Tari was easily reachable by message and she answered each question very quickly. We highly recommend!

Great place to stay with large group. Great location!

Location was awesome! But lots of problems in cabin ! No broom to sweep up, garbage can in kitchen terrible to open , handles on some of bedrooms loose, no covers on some of electrical outlets gone, shower curtains in bathroom not long enough so water all over floors, shower doors come off hinges, lady bugs in some of the beds, some of shower heads were loose! I have stayed in many a cabin in pigeon forge for over 20 years never had this many problems! Very disappointed!

The property was well mainteined and exactly as described in the listing photos. The property owner communicated well before during and after our stay. There were known issues with the fire places due to contractor issues during the remodel before our stay. She communicated the issues well and did a great job at making the issues right by us. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas, which made our stay that much nicer. You can also hear the whistle of the train from Dollywood from the decks but not from inside the cabin, which also added to our experience. Overall, everyone in our party loved the cabin, had a great time while there and would stay there again. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Drove 6 hours for a family vacation, to get to the cabin. Get to the beautiful property, went to check out the lower level, a strong musty smell appears going down the steps. One of the bedrooms carpet is saturated with water. Call the property manager, she sent a maintenance guy to evaluate the problem, ending up being a hot water heater leaking. Understanding this can happen and things break, property manager notifies us to find another place to stay. By this time, it is seven pm on Friday night. She only provides us with 3 names of other cabin rentals for us to call, with no luck. Then she tells us “ I guess you better find a hotel.” We had 11 people in our party. She did refund our money but besides that was absolutely no help to us at all. Ended up renting 4 hotel rooms for the weekend at 9:30pm that night. Wasted entire first night of family vacation. Would not recommend this property due to no help from management.

This was a great place. We had 11 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. We had plenty of space. The views were amazing. As the toddlers were climbing the stairs, we noticed that they needed a deep cleaning. We could not the pool table because the pockets have been broken out.. We could have used more towels, we had to wah towels.. There was only 1 dish towel. We made it work and had a great time.

Great property for a large family gathering. There is plenty of room for everyone to eat together, which is very important to our family. The kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone has their own space when needed. The view off the back decks is amazing.. Communication with the property owner before, during and after the stay was excellent.
