Can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at the Mayflower Inn. We were a family of 16 ranging from age 7-70’s and everyone of us enjoyed every second of our trip! Can’t wait to return next year!

Me and my extended family (14 of us from ages 1-76) loved our stay at the Mayflower. House stocked with everything you'll need for a great week on the lake, and the yard and sandy lakefront are truly one of a kind. Huge private sandy beach that leads to crystal clear water. Short walk to small town of Harrison where we enjoyed ice cream and dinner, We also rode our paddle boards to the general store and ice cream! We can't wait to get back!

My family has vacationed using VRBO properties for the last 11 years in the New Hampshire and Maine lake regions, and I have to say that this was the best! The house is wonderful with plenty of room for our family of 15 (ages 3 to 70) to relax and play; the shallow water was perfect for all of our grandkids and still deep enough to park a pontoon boat at the dock. The town of Harrison and its wonderful ice creamery is within walking and kayaking distance-we took advantage every day! We had one little glitch when we arrived at the house and the property manager was easy to contact and so very helpful in helping us solve the problem. This is a beautiful home and we are hoping to return!

This was our third time staying here and once again we loved it! This time we brought along close friends and their children and everyone had a great time. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The only slight negative continues to be the lack of air conditioning, even if just in the bedrooms. It was above 90 almost our entire stay so we definitely felt it. That being said, we still look forward to staying here again!

This is the second year we have rented this property. It has everything you could ever want. There were 18 of us and we swam and kayaked and we rented a great pontoon boat and ski boat. The property manager Tina was very helpful

We spent a week at the Mayflower Inn and had a great time. We vacationed with lots of small kids 6 and under and they had a blast swimming and running around. The beach is perfect for the little ones: shallow and sandy. We had a fire almost nightly. There were plenty of Adirondack chairs for everyone. Inside of the house was also comfortable and spacious. We appreciated that the linens and towels were provided and there was plenty of TP to start us off. Overall, we are quite satisfied with the property. I took one star off the overall rating due to a few misses, which would have been nice to have given the hefty price tag: there were a few cobwebs in the corners here and there, we really missed having air conditioning on a couple of really hot days, having a larger frying pan with more non-stick life left would've been nice. One of the great things about the house is is having a bathroom in each bedroom. However, the way the upstairs bathrooms are set up with a door between the sink area and the shower area makes it quite tight, especially when getting in and out of the shower with small kids.

We came as a family, ages ranging from 4-86 and all had an amazing time. The house had everything you could ever need on vacation. We truly had the best weather, 80’s & 90’s and sunny every day! We spent every day floating in the Lake. It truly was an amazing vacation. Each one of us was sad to leave today 😔 We can not wait to book again for next year!,

My family and I have been renting homes for the past 10 years for a summer vacation and this was the best by far. The house was fantastic, the property was amazing, offering so much for everyone to do. From the game room, to the yard, bocce and volleyball set up, the dock for fishing and boating and the beach front made for an absolutely perfect week. The home was clean and beautiful with amazing lake views from every room. The big porch allowed for great seating any time of day. The fire pit was fantastic every evening. And clean sandy water front that let to them floating dock Made for lots of water fun for everyone. This house is truly perfect for any family or group looking for complete fun is one place.

This place is incredible! We look forward to making an annual trip back!

Our two week vacation at the Mayflower Inn helped make past family memories come alive and made our Long Lake experience, once again, priceless. We searched long and hard to find the perfect place for our daughters, son-in-laws, and eight grandchildren (10 years old to 2 years old) to gather. The Mayflower Inn did not disappoint. It's spacious indoor and outdoor living space and the casual garage/ hanger "fun room" was perfect for our large family. The waterfront and shallow lake depth is perfect for young children. From the time we raised the flag in the morning until we listened to "Retreat" as the flag came down; we were having fun at the lake, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, jumping off to the docks, playing bocci ball. Walking or boating to Harrison to the candy store (AKA the Village Tie up) turned out to still be a favorite with this youngest generation. The Creamery definitely is great for an ice cream treat. Re-living past memories, making new ones, sitting under the Maine sky at the bonfire; Life is Good at the Mayflower Inn.

This is our second year staying at the Mayflower Inn and we can't wait to go back next year! We have five families and everyone fits comfortably, especially with the large living areas and each bedroom having it's own bathroom. The house is always clean and the property manager is extremely helpful. The sandy beach and shallow swimming area are perfect for the kids. We would recommend this house for any large group looking for the perfect lake side vacation.

Perfect home for family/friends vacation. What an amazing time we had! We were 5 families with kids. Just like everyone said, specious house, with private bathroom in each room. So much to do: swimming, paddle board, canoeing, boccie, play room, volleyball, swings. Nights by the fire. Loved every minute at Mayflower!

The property was nice, very roomy and a good size for big families or groups. Privet beach was great and canoe and peddleboat were fun. We did notice there was no air conditioning but it was very cool by the water and was not that big of a deal. The rooms were nice and all had their own bathroom which was great. As far as cleanliness, it could have been a little cleaner there. There were cobwebs in almost all the windows and all of the light fixtures as well as dust.

My extended family (18 of us!) recently stayed at the Mayflower Inn. It was perfect! We had an amazing time. The house sits right on the inlet, close to Harrison center. Driving on our pontoon boat, we all agreed that the Mayflower has the best beach and overall the best spot on the lake! The house was very clean when we arrived. Bright, airy, and open, the kitchen had everything we needed to accommodate such a large crowd. The downstairs, screened in area, was perfect for late afternoon lounging, relaxation, and cocktails. The beds were comfortable and there was a bathroom in each bedroom, which was so convenient. There was plenty of towels, pillows, and bedding. There was a breeze coming off the lake just about every day, so sitting in the adirondack chairs or lounges they provide was just heavenly. The backyard has all the amenities for summer fun; a swing set for the little ones, horseshoe pit, a canoe, paddleboat, kayaks, and plenty of space for lawn games like corn hole or kamjam! We enjoyed the firepit every night! The size of the house provided ample space for everyone to spread out, but cozy too, in its own way. The area of Harrison, Bridgton, and Naples offers so much to do. On rainy days, we went to the movies, enjoyed the small cafes in Bridgton, and of course, shopped at Renys. Words cannot describe just how awesome this house is! To say we were sad when our week ended is an understatement. The property manager was so helpful and friendly. In the months leading up to our stay, she was quick to answer all of our questions and made the check in and check out process easy. If making memories is what it'a ll about, then look no further than The Mayflower Inn! It's simply a slice of heaven... But book soon, weeks for next summer are already filling up.

Our family could not have enjoyed the Mayflower Inn more!! We have stayed in several other houses in the Long Lake area and this is by far the best one. The property is spacious, clean, and well maintained and the property managers and owners are helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place for any large group looking for waterfront access and ability to walk to market, ice cream, and restaurants in town. We have already booked our week for next year and cannot wait to come back!

We had an AMAZING time at the Mayflower Inn. We had 8 adults and 5 kids and we all had a wonderful time. The way that the house is set up is perfect for groups. I love that the bedrooms are away from the main living space so that it can be quiet for napping children. Also, I love that each bedroom had a big window overlooking the lake and it's own full bathroom. One of the best features of this house is the sandy beach. If you're looking for a place to bring kids then look no further. We had kids ranging from 1 - 10 and they all enjoyed the lake and sand. You pretty much have your own cove of sandy beach and the water is shallow all the way out to the raft (so you can walk to it with the water up to your chest). The water is super clear and it's sandy all the way to the raft and all the way along the cove (no yucky seaweed!). We used the canoe and the paddle boat and also just had a good time playing in the water. Also, since this house is south-facing you get the sun all day! It was perfect for relaxing on the beach. There's a swing set for the kids, which even has a baby swing (my littlest guy loved it!). The game room / bar area is also really great. After the kids went to bed each night we'd head out there and play poker or pool or just hang out and have fun. The kids also loved the game room during the day, they spent a lot of time "exploring" the property and had a real blast. Another really great thing about this place is the location. When you're at the house and on the lake it feels very quiet and secluded, however if you take a short walk down the street (short enough for 3 year olds to walk) you can go get ice cream and look at the boats at the marina. We also took a walk down to a restaurant for dinner one night, which was nice. The fire pit is great! There's plenty of adirondack chairs for everyone (even kid-sized!) so that you can hang out by the fire and make smores. This is, by far, one of the best houses I've ever stayed at in Maine. I HIGHLY recommend the Mayflower Inn.

We have been renting on Long Lake for over thirty years and this was the most comfortable, spacious and immaculate house we've ever stayed in. The location is perfect. It's close enough to Harrison that you can walk to the Tie-Up but set back from the road so you don't see or hear the traffic. We enjoyed the sunsets and the calm of the cove. Our group included eight adults and five children, ages 1-14. Everyone enjoyed it immensely!

Best house on Long Lake! i have been going here for over 30 years. It started out as two small cabins and then a magnificent home was built on the most beautiful spot on Long Lake. It gets better every time I go. You have everything you need right here. The beach has beautiful clean white sand and the water is crystal clear. Great spot for families. So much to do - kids will never be bored. Wake up to the sound of loons. You will not be be sorry and you won't want to leave!

This house made for our best family vacation yet. The magnificent house sits right right on beautifully Long Lake and has it's own wide sandy beach. The sun shines into the fully stocked kitchen and living areas all day long. The house was immaculate, spacious , and cozy all at the same time. The large kitchen and dining area was wonderful for long leisurely breakfasts as you enjoy the views and sounds of the lake. The fire pit was fun for all after dinner for smores, good conversation and story telling. The house along with it's large garage is equipped with everything from lounge chairs fun floats ,volleyball net, bocci court, pool table and a paddle boat. We brought our 26 ft boat too, for which the property has ample mooring/ or docking spaces The owner is easy to work with and the property is meticulously maintained. We had a large group of adults, teenagers and small kids. None of us wanted to leave. We can't wait to return to The Mayflower Inn to make more memories.
