Perfect weekend in Pacific Beach!

Simple, clean, updated, comfortable. Manager was very responsive to our questions throughout our stay. Quiet neighborhood. Beach was a quick scooter ride away. Thanks!

Our stay was great here and I'd recommend it to anyone who is interested or looking.

The location and layout was perfect for us. Loved the private courtyard. Easy access to boardwalk since we were riding bikes to Mission beach where family was staying. Cute neighborhood and quiet at night. On site parking was a plus. The inside was clean with all newer finishes.

The condo is a converted garage space at back of another rental property. Your entry is through an alley where you park next to garbage cans. The courtyard for relaxing is cluttered with rusted unusable bicycles and beach chairs that would not be taken if left out front with a FREE sign on them. Inside you will find a nicely redecorated space with a modern feel. Water pressure is good and space was clean.....with exception of skylight wells that are filled with creepy crawly things. Big spider webs with a large variety of spiders. Variety of silverfish bugs crawling about as well. Read other reviews to hear about bike quality. They should not even be mentioned as they are unusable! You will have a 10 minute walk to the ocean and a 5-7 minute walk tot he bay. Reasonable price for the area. Room looks goods but courtyard mess and skylight ecosystem make you question the remainder of the property.

Amazing remodel of a garage into a cute, comfy studio with a lovely garden patio. Pretty close walk or scooter ride to the bay and the beach. The bed is very comfortable and the sky lights make the room feel light and spacious. The kitchen is very nice but could use more cooking utensils like a spatula. There are two bikes--unfortunately one had a flat tire that would not hold air, but there were lots of electric scooters around the neighborhood so we used them instead. Communication with Renee was easy, prompt and helpful. Thanks for a beautiful weekend!

We were here for 1 wk with 3 sets of towels. We requested extra towels for our length of our stay. Bikes were lovely we did stop in for a chain repair & tighting and a bit of oil other than that it was very nice to get exercise while vacationing. Please tighten the handle bar on the bike with the aqua rim for the next guests. Thank you very much Renee & Per we will be back. Love the sunshine!! Lovely!!

A great stay and the most comfortable bed ever. Wasn't so keen to be woken up early due to skylights with sun shining through but, hey, SUN! A few dishes to use in the oven with associated tools would be necessary if you plan to eat in as we did. Good bathroom with great shower. A chest of drawers (IKEA?) would have been very useful also as we found we were living out of suitcases being there for 14 nights. Pretty courtyard with table, chairs and umbrella - a nice space to sit out and have breakfast. Two bikes provided which we did not use but noticed that they needed some attention if you intend to cycle. Really good location altogether with a choice of boardwalks - the nearer, and quieter, bayside or the busier Pacific beach side. Both recommended. Thank you Renee. We'll almost certainly return.

My husband and I spent nine nights in Renee’s cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit is tastefully decorated and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The little courtyard was perfect for morning coffee and it was nice having our own parking space. Bay and ocean views were within walking distance as well as many restaurants. Thanks Renee!

It was unseasonably warm at the start of our stay and Renee arranged to have an air conditioning unit moved to our cottage. He checked in to make sure we had what we needed and even supplied a bottle of wine in greeting. We'll be back:)

Great place perfect for a honeymoon hideaway. No air conditioning but didnt really need it. Would stay again for sure

Great place just don't plan to be in the home during the day or it will be hot. Perfect for two people but there is a hid-a-bed in the sofa If needed.

We loved the place. Small but roomy at the same time. Skylights make it seem even bigger than it is. Very clean and perfect for us. We hope it will be available the next time we are in SD.

A nice remodel. Small, studio location a short ride from the waves and a shorter ride (or walk) to the bay. Close to local nightlife (if that is what you are into), restaurants, and more. You can make this destination as busy or as quiet as you prefer. Bikes are dated and need some attention but did the job. If the neighbors plan to make some noise, be prepared as you are within feet of other tenants. All in all....We had a lovely time in this newly renovated studio.

Awesome location. Nice to use bikes or just walk to many places... beaches, restaurants, bars. Place is small but great for two people. Only thing was we are on the shorter side amd mirrors and cabinets are all a little to high for our liking. Great spot to rent out.

My husband and I stayed in this adorable bungalow for a few nights during our time in San Diego. It was a great home base throughout our daily adventures and very comfortable in the evenings. It was clean and completely equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The patio was a great place to read and hang out. Renee was very easy to get in touch with even though she was away during our trip! Really great experience!

Great casita perfect for two. Really nice update, and we loved eating out on the enclosed private patio. Also great location close to PB but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Easy walk to the beach, mission bay, restaurants, coffee, etc. Only downside was no air conditioner and couldn't really get a good cross-breeze with the layout. The fan over the bed however helped a ton and we enjoyed our stay!

Renee's hospitality was wonderful! She was quick to respond when I had a question and very friendly. The location couldn't be better with a parking space. We loved the place and would love to come back soon!

We had a really enjoyable three days here. The cottage is perfect for two and the location is wonderful! If we head back this way again, we'll be checking to see about staying here again.

This was a great rental for two people in walking distance of Pacific Beach, and the Bay. We were able to walk most anywhere we wanted to go but were out of the way enough that it was a quieter stay. We ended up renting bikes that were a smoother, more comfortable, ride than the ones provided, but overall have no complaints for the price and location.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The studio is a few minute walk to the bay and ocean. Having crusier bikes available was a nice treat to explore the bay and ocean boardwalk. The patio was private, neatly landscaped and a southern exposure for some nice sunshine.Two good grocery stores were within a mile of the studio and important to us since we stayed almost 2 weeks. Inside the studio it is clean, bright and cozy with 2 sky lights on the roof. The only negative would be the absence of a barbecue and washer and dryer, especially for longer stays. Overall it is a very nice unit and I would highly recommend it.
