Really enjoyed our long weekend at this property! More than enough beds for all of us and the location/views can't be beat. As other reviews have mentioned, the parking garage is very narrow so make sure to have friends help you back in. Place was clean and the only complaint (very minor) was we could've used more bathroom towels. Otherwise, fully stocked with tommy Bahama chairs and beach towels. Would definitely return. Thanks for an amazing trip!

You can't beat this location! The host was also incredibly easy to communicate with and the house was clean and well cared for.

The property was exactly as advertised. Mark was a great host, very communicative. We didn’t encounter any issues. Hard to find a better location in the world than right on the boardwalk in Mission Beach!

We loved our stay at Gull’s Nest. The weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped but fortunately, the rental was fantastic enough on its own that we had still had a great time. The location can’t be beat. So much to do. But even doing nothing is enjoyable here!! We definitely hope to return next year!

House is perfect location with amazing views. Great accommodation for a beach day with chairs and coolers. We enjoyed the patio area that made for great people watching. Cleaners could have paid closer attention to a few areas such as the dishes, fans, and floors. House was a little outdated but the views made up for it.

This beautiful beach house was the perfect setting to celebrate our daughter's graduation from SDSU. It was so nice to have the family all together in one spot. The location and outdoor patio is so nice. The house was equipped with so many nice touches, plenty of supplies and beach equipment. The most impressive part was the wonderful service from Mark & Tara. When I realized the iron wasn't working I messaged Mark that I really needed to iron the graduation gown, he was there in 30 minutes with a new iron. Very impressed. I hope we can visit again!

Walked in and felt right at home. The waves from the master bedroom put me right to sleep. We had everything we needed. Hope to come back with the Grandkids!

This place was amazing!!! There are so many things to do while in San Diego and the location was great!! The beach is right there and everything was awesome!! So clean and cozy!! We will be back for sure!!!

This property is awesome for groups of mixed ages and vacation expectations. You can just relax and enjoy the view from the property, play in the beach or enjoy local attractions. We hope to make this an annual family fun vacation! Thanks Tara and Mark for sharing your property with us.

This home was a joy to stay in. We had 9 guests staying (4 adults, 3 kids and 1 toddler) and the home worked for all of us. The home was very clean upon arrival. Plenty of dishes, beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys were available. We were mere steps from the beach and watched dolphins swimming every morning from the patio. We lucked out and our stay was during sand dollar season and we were able to collect sand dollars from the beach several days. Parking was a bit tight but this was expected and clearly states this in the info. about the home. The owner, Mark, was very easy to reach and any needs were quickly met.

This was a beautiful place to stay! It was right on the ocean with a wonderful view. The condo was clean and bright and had all of the household amenities . Mark and Tara stayed in contact throughout the way and the made it simple and easy to check in. I highly recommend it!

Five of us enjoyed this beautiful home for 4 days. The setting was perfect for everything we wanted to do there and out an about. The home was well stocked for all of our needs our grandson esp. enjoyed all the toys in the garage! I highly recommend this vacation home.

Owner and the property was wonderful. Please pay close attention to the parking situation. If you have a large vehicle like mine, parking is at a premium even during the off season. We had to park as far away as several city blocks a few times.

Beautiful beachfront location! Perfect for our girls weekend. We enjoyed the sunsets & people watching from the patio…and even the dolphins in the morning! The property had plenty of space for the 6 of us. Parking was a tad bit tight with our Chevy Equinox, so I wouldn’t recommend anything larger. We agreed we would definitely return and that it would be a great location for families as well!

A sunny beach for kids and two lovely outdoor spaces for outdoor dining or upstairs private balcony sunbathing with a spectacular ocean view. This property has something for everyone in the family from toddlers to senior citizens.

This house has everything you can ask for in a vacation house! We had 10 adults stay and there was plenty of space for all of us. The place is gorgeous and has the best view of the ocean. We watched dolphins swimming in the waves all day every day. It's obviously right on the beach, which is amazing, but it's also walking distance to everything else you could want: beach clubs, shopping, restaurants, water toy rentals, etc. This is the type of place that will spoil you for all beach vacations going forward; you'll only want to stay in places like this. Mark and Tara were very communicative and easy to get in touch with. The check in process was could not have been easier and everything we needed to know about the house was written down in a binder for us. I will 100% stay here again. Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We had the best stay at the Gull's Rest! The house is very spacious and has everything you need and is in the most excellent location right near on the beach! Mark was also super helpful during check in when I had a few questions. Hope to make it back to this property again in the future!!!

Excellent!! Perfect location, you can't get any closer to the beach! They provide everything you need. Just bring your beach wear, sun screen and be ready to relax and enjoy!! Plenty of shopping close by, lots of activities and restaurants - eat local!! We enjoyed our stay there so much, we are already planning our next vacation to come back! Thank you for making our big 60th birthday a time to remember forever!

Space for everyone and fully equipped. Between lifeguard Stations 16 and 17, the location was perfect for walking to restaurants. Very comfortable couches and beds. All three bedrooms were upstairs. The master bedroom was spacious with walk-in closet, bathroom with large shower and double sinks, and balcony with an ocean view. The house was well equipped with kids’ toys in the bedroom closets, and plenty of beach toys, chairs, and umbrella in the garage.

We had the best time here! The property is perfect for a larger group and the location is amazing! We were able to see dolphins from the patio everyday we were there. Mark and Tara were very communicative and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!

Good times parking was not fun because our truck wouldn’t fit in the garage but after i found a spot we walked everywhere so I only had to find parking once. The beach chairs and toys were clutch it definatly helped out at the beach.

40 years I have stayed at the same place. Due to circumstances changing so did I. Loved the place, location, patio, and have booked it for next year!!

Loved our stay in Mission Beach, we do this every year. This property was a great layout, bedrooms and bathrooms in the right locations, with lots of beds which is not always easy to come by in Mission Beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with a nice spice cabinet and essentials (paper towels, dish soap, ziplock bags, lots of tupperware, etc.). The only downside is that the patio in front on the living room windows does not belong to this unit, which is kind of awkward especially with those people partying. But, this unit's patio was great, lots of seating and on the boardwalk. Lots of beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This property is perfect for families or groups of friends. Tons of great beach toys, towels, everything you need including the large patio! Beds are comfortable and numerous, lots of towels and all kitchen essentials. Love this property!

Great house situated right on the beach. House is well furnished. Had a great stay and would definitely return.

Best week of the year……again!

Perfect distance from Belmont to miss the major crowds but close enough to walk. Lots of restaurants and perfect proximity to the beach. Very comfortable furnishings and well supplied with beach necessities!
