This property looks amazing online and checked all or our boxes for a family Christmas gathering. We were disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the home. It was not very clean (dirty window sills, stained towels and bath rugs, stained and broken toilet seats, dusty lampshades and ceiling fan blades, etc.). Many of the light bulbs were burned out in the overhead lights and table lamps and the TV didn't work. The patio doors were difficult to close and did there were gaps on top so that insects could get in. The patio umbrella by the pool was bent and the fabric ripped and there weren't chairs on 2 of the balconies. The pool was small but nice and the views from the upper balconies did not disappoint. The location was central and near the big market and a few good restaurants. We were also disappointed in the response time and service of the property manager - JJ.

This is a great place to stay, lots of room, 2 wonderful balconies and an awesome pool. Figuring out the light switches was interesting.(the kitchen light is not in the kitchen) The kitchen and living space is very nice, lots of room. And when you just want to chill, the options to watch tv are good, not much for dvds though. The pool is awesome, has a nice deep end for bigger people and a good shallow end for the littles. You do need to watch the sudden drop. We did have an issue with lack of hot water that turned out to be a breaker problem and eventually got fixed. The place did not appear to have been cleaned very well before our arrival and was not stocked with water and toilet paper. Little things, but annoying also. Over all it is a very nice place situated very conveniently between Chedraui and Oscars.

This house has 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on 3 floors , multiple roof decks and a courtyard pool. This set up worked very well for vacationing with our adult children.

Big house with location in about the middle of the island so very easy to the beach. Private pool was nice. The only improvement the house needs is better water pressure and hot water but it was manageable. We had a great time.

You can't go wrong with this rental! We had an amazing stay. We had a couple of issues that were promptly taken care of. Our property manager JJ was a pleasure to work with. He booked our swim with the whale sharks which was AMAZING! We also booked a fishing trip with Comodoro Sportfishing. The Captain and mate went out of their way to make sure wy had a great time. We caught 5 barracuda, 1 16lb tuna and a 22lb Jack. We cooked up the barracuda and tuna and they were delicious. Even my 15yr old that hates fish ate them. I feel like a golf cart here is a must. We rented from Indios who delivered the cart. The sunset views from the rooftop terrace were better than any I have ever seen. Every room has an air conditioner which is needed, especially in July. The washing machine came in handy. I couldn't figure out how to start the oven though. It was the best having a pool right there. Oscars restaurant is right close. Good food, just don't get the deep dish pizza unless you love bread pizza. Also the grocery store is a 5min walk. They have everything you need. I would definitely stay here again!

Walter was very quick to respond when asking questions . JJ is the new property manager and he too was very easy to reach if anything was needed.

The Villa was perfectly suited for three couples and even 4 couples could easily be comfortable . The kitchen could use a few more amenities for cooking . The view from the top deck and the sunsets were gorgeous, a few more chairs would be nice. Excellent location to both ends of the island, we rented golf carts and had a blast . There was a bit of road noise but not too bad, just turn the music up a little bit. All in all , very happy and would recommend for small groups

Six of us stayed here and it could not have been better. It's location is perfect to both the North & South ends of the island. You can rent a golf cart and/or just hail a cab right outside the entrance. The rooms were ideal and had great air conditioning. 1 Large bedroom is on the ground floor, 2 on the second and a room we called the Rapunzel Tower on the 3rd floor (this room was smaller & very private - it was mine and awesome!). The Rapunzel Tower and 1 room on the 2nd floor have beautiful balcony views. There is a balcony on the 4th floor where you can watch the sunsets and sunrises - The view is gorgeous. There is another deck out by the pool. I can't say enough great things about this house. The kitchen is spacious with all up to date appliances. The dining space is large with tall opening doors to the outside if you like. The property host/Manager JJ was awesome!! If there was any problem he was on it. I am coming back next month and was bummed the property was already booked. Oh and sometimes a little kitty comes around - Rosita. She's very sweet and likes food :-). I highly recommend this property!

Only downfall is two of the beds are very very hard. Other than that we loved the property

We had an amazing week staying in this lovely house. A couple of very minor issues were handled within an hour of notifying the property manager. The space is lovely, relaxing, and super convenient.

Our family enjoyed the house and pool . Everything at the home works properly and very clean. The location is walking distance to the grocery store.and great pizza restaurant.

This house was so perfect for my family! Amazing views of the Caribbean and the gulf, a pool, and plenty of space. We came to Isla for my wedding so we had 4 couples and 2 children in the house, which there was plenty of space for. Kevin was wonderful and responded to my messages almost instantly! We would definitely recommend this home and will be renting it again for our next family trip to the island.

House was exactly as described....well furnished and very clean with a great location mid-island. Supermarket within walking distance and a collection of restaurants and convenience stores close by as well. For an extended stay renting a golf cart would be a plus but taxis passed by frequently providing another option if necessary for travel to Playa Norte or Punta Sur. Good for large groups (6-8) as each bedroom has a private bath, however, while there were comfortable beds accommodating two people in three of the BR's there was one with a pullout sofa which is better suited for a single person. Would definitely reserve this house again!!

Very nice house and centrally located. Clean on arrival and maid service half way through the week. Easy to find on our arrival. It was nice to have a property manager available to talk to and ask questions and give advice. We had an over all great stay! Thanks

Wonderful and affordable place on the island. It was easy for grab taxis to Playa Norte for $50 pesos. We'll definitely be back :)

I recently spent about 3 1/2 weeks at Casa de las Vistas Azules. It is located in the approximate center of the island very near the Chedreau Market and Oscar's Restaurant. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and 4 bedrooms with each having it's own bathroom. Everything in the house is well maintained and works properly thanks to the efforts of Martin who is very accessible and is a frequent visitor. There is a family of iguanas (Spike and Marlene)who live at the corner by the gate who make excellent neighbors. There is a pool maintenance guy who comes by every 2-3 days so the pool always looks inviting. I really enjoyed my stay here (my second time here) because it quickly seems like home when you arrive. Be sure to try the banana splits at the ice cream shop at Punta Sur. Also, Oscars is about 2 blocks away where the seafood is fresh and the pizza is as good or better than anyplace in the world. Casa de las Vistas Azules seems the perfect place if you have a group of 7 -10 people.

We loved our stay in Isla and this house had everything we needed. The home was clean, had all amenities and was in a perfect location for getting around. We rented golf carts which is a must to see the island. If I go back to Isla I would definitely stay at this home again. The property manager made sure we had everything and welcomed us. There is nothing I can write negative about the home or experience getting to and from Isla. It all worked out. Successful girls trip!!

We had a group of seven of us staying here and the layout of the house was ideal for our bunch... three rooftop decks so everyone could have quiet downtime and the rooms were very private. The location was great, too, as it was just far enough from the hullaballoo of the tourists without being too far out. Also, having the grocery store within walking distance was a benefit, too. The owner and the caretaker were very responsive with answers to our questions. My only complaints: the wifi was terrible and the kitchen needs a few more things to be fully fleshed out, like a mixing bowl and a cheese grater. If I bring a large group to the island, again, I will definitely inquire about this rental first.

Beautiful place to stay- was everything we hoped for! Clean, lots of amenities and central location.

Enjoyed the La Gloria Property. It is right in the middle of the island, and everything is easily accessible by walking, taxi, or golf cart. It has a very nice kitchen and the bedrooms are nicely furnished with ample room. The property was well kept and the property manager was attentive to our needs.
