We had a fantastic time at the cottage. Awesome location, comfortable space inside and out. The weather was perfect with a cool ocean breeze. We shopped at the corner grocery store and ate yummy food at the taco truck. So convenient! Best part was the ease of walking our 11 year old dog and being able to park in the driveway. Perfect escape from the desert heat. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location can’t be beat and the neighborhood is very quiet. The house is comfortable with a cute backyard. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed for making simple meals. We enjoyed using the BBQ on our last day to grill local fish that we bought from Santa Barbara Fish Market at the harbor, a 5 minute drive from the house. Check in and out was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time. The vacating rental was true to picture. The property was clean and the area was quiet. We enjoyed morning walks to the beach and we even walked to the zoo that was close by. We had an issue with the smoke detector beeping randomly and we messaged David who replied back promptly. We've stayed in many rentals over the years and this was the most peaceful. Thank you David for hosting our family.

This house is a great place to stay. You cannot beat the location! It is walking distance to a great market, the beach, parks, hotels. Parking is very easy in the driveway. It was nice that a stroller and a crib were provided. The backyard was a lovely place to hang out with very comfortable furniture and a big umbrella. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at East Beach Cottage. It was perfect for our family stay. The cottage was exactly as described. The location was perfect for walking to the zoo, beach and restaurants. The extras in the garage were much appreciated, stroller, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some easy meals. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. We felt very safe and enjoyed exploring Santa Barbara!

Very Clean. EASY walk to beach. Removed from all the busyness around State Street and the pier - but you can long walk or drive there. Little back yard was super nice to relax in.

This is a great location in SB. On a quiet street, but walking distance to so many attractions. House was well-appointed and very comfortable. Would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The check-in process was very straightforward and easy. David was extremely responsive, communicative, and kind. The kitchen is well stocked. The space is absolutely darling, and super comfortable. The yard is amazing, private, and has great outdoor furniture. Being able to park in the driveway was so convenient. The location is outstanding. Great to have the beach, a nice grocery store, and lots of yummy restaurants nearby. Also, the bed was super comfortable, and it was nice that they were plenty of extra sheets and towels, including beach towels. Everything was fantastic!

Property was as described, very nice location and easy walk to beach. Town was very close by but you might want to drive instead of walking into town. Parking in town was easy to find and restaurants were excellent There was a small grocery store within 50 yards of the house which was very convenient, as property had all the amenities, including a very clean gas grill and lovey patio to relax after a long day of sight seeing. We would stay there again

We enjoyed our mother-daughter weekend at the cottage. The location is quiet and only a short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The private back patio was a nice amenity.

Just parked the car. Lotsa biking (perk to be able to keep the bikes in the garage) walk to Stearn’s wharf, walk to the ped mall, bike path right out the door, walk to the grocery- loved it!

I almost don't want to review too highly so it wont be booked when we return...and we will definitely be returning! The cottage was well furnished. Comfy bed, all other furniture and kitchen were great, outdoor furniture was top of the line. The location was perfect with an ocean view and walkable to everywhere downtown and the funk zone. Parking is available. Absolutely not one problem or complaint!

The house was perfectly maintained, and in excellent condition. You can tell both the inside and out was carefully planned and executed. It felt safe and comfortable in the perfect location. We could walk to all of the restaurants and nearby beach. If we wanted to be lazy we rented an electric bike that you can find easily and always one nearby. We will definitely be back.

The property was accurately presented on the app. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area was very nice, unfortunately, we had quite a bit of rain and we didn’t get to use it until the morning we were leaving. The dishes could be a little cleaner. We discovered the washer/dryer was outdoors on our own and perhaps a little more written instructions would be helpful. We did not need the washer so we were fine. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.

Perfect cottage to enjoy all the beauty and fun Santa Barbara has to offer. We were welcomed by friendly-owner, David; he was very responsive to our questions. The cottage is very comfortable and conveniently located. We enjoyed the views from the living and dining room, relaxed in the backyard and slept on a very comfortable bed. If you're planning to cook your own meals, bring own spices, everything else you need to prepare meals are available and several grocery stores are nearby.

We just left the back cottage. There were four of us and while it is a small place we never felt cramped. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It is a short walk to the beach and decent walk to the wharf and funk zone. Downtown and state street is a little farther. You could walk it but we ubered for like $15 with tip. The house is a little older but it was very clean and had a good supply of dishes and cookware if you want to cook in. The outside featured a nice sitting area we took advantage of during the day. When we were checking in the owner responded to my numerous questions within minutes. If you are looking for an affordable place for 4 people or less where you can walk to most things I would recommend this place.

My husband, teenage son, and 2 dogs stayed at the Back Cottage for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The home is very cute and couldn’t be more relaxing. We walked to the beach every morning and evening, shopped the produce market around the corner, and ate at the food truck. The best part was the backyard with the view of the ocean. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This cottage is in a fantastic location--just a short walk to East Beach and the scenic walkway along the coast. There is a great little grocery store a 2-minute walk away, and a fabulous restaurant, Convivo, is also a 2-minute walk. The house is very comfortable, just a little shabby in places (peeling paint, etc.) It could use a bit of freshening up, but is a great spot and we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our 2 dogs. The location of the property is close to everything including a 5 min walk to the beach. House is great for a couple or small family. Inside needs to be freshened up a bit with decor and cleanliness but overall we had a nice stay.

The home is cute, private and perfectly situated to accommodate whatever you would like to do. The access to the freeway, downtown and Montecito are easy to navigate. The bedrooms are hot at night but the owner has provided plenty of fans to cool things off. In the morning, the patio door should be opened to greet the day within sight of the beach and ocean.
