The weather started cold, wet and windy, such that we never used the a.c. But instead the heating worked well. The humidity and the heating tended to make the floor tiling near the window slick with moisture. Possibly this was because the garage underneath offered no insulation from the cold. However the sun came out, the rain stopped and the wind abated making the last day or so very nice. The kingsized bed was “aged”! The bedside light USB charger sockets were a nice feature. Kitchen was well supplied. TV worked well. We were lucky enough to always find a parking place undercover. Much appreciated when it was raining. The view was accurate. It was nice to admire the waves irrespective of the weather.

The evening we arrived we called the owner. The instructions and picture of the TV remote in the living room did not correspond with the remotes. She responded with confusion and helpless instructions. We told her there was no remote for the TV in the bedroom. She was unaware there was not a remote. The king size bed mattress was very soft and sway back in the middle. We each kept sliding into the middle of the bed. A chair in the living room that should have reclined had a metal rod poking through the back area, and the foot rest did not work properly. Cheap, cheap, cluless owner. She gets 2 stars because at least there weren't bugs.

This is the second time staying at these ladies property and never disappoints. Spectacular views just amazing

Short and easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed the sunrise over the water every morning. The condo was very clean and well appointed. My sister and I will definitely stay here again!

Great spot, a minute walk to the beach. Elevator was nice to have for carrying in and out from second floor. Nice space, good AC and comfortable bed. The cookware is pretty old and could use a replacement, handles loose on the pots and pans etc. Cramped kitchen area but not bad for one person at a time. I think my checkin email got caught by spam as it is not clear who it is coming from, so i had to reach out at check-in for the code. Comms were unanswered in the app so i needed to call last minute but the call was answered first time. Overall for the value at beachfront would stay again.

The property was as described in the listing.Our only issue was communication during the stay. For example, when construction on the appartment above us created a water leak in our bathroom, I contacted the owners. I heard nothing back and went to talk with the workers my self and got the problem resolved. Then when I thought there was a problem with a door lock, I reported it. Apparently they contacted building maintenance, but I was never told maintenance was contacted or when they would come. We would have appreciated more feedback.

Clean,quiet and good location. Promptly repaired faucet after we reported it. Was presently surprised at what was provided. Highly recommend this property.

We came to the island for our honeymoon. This 1 bdrm was just perfect. Right on the beach! We loved it!

not kept clean, want five star report ,but, didnt even provide paper towel and toilet paper, 1 roll and 2 rolls of toilet paper, should not feel you need to clean place on vac. smell originally due to scum in dehumidifier and on the filter, smelled better after that. The VIEW and location is why I give it two stars, JWK my thoughts only

I took my mother to South Padre Island for her 83rd birthday, along with our two English cream golden retrievers. This dog-friendly condo was absolutely perfect for us with a nightly price that you cannot beat. Not only did we enjoy beautiful sunrises with a balcony overlooking the ocean, but the access to the beach was short and incredibly easy. The best thing about this condo is that there’s an elevator for my mother who was able to go down to the beach each day and enjoy watching our dogs play in the ocean. Rinsing our dogs off was super easy as there were three stations right at the gate and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day at the beach. We had all the comforts of home including Internet and Wi-Fi and we would definitely book this condo again.

The view from the balcony was spectacular. The condo was pleasant home away from home. Only one issue, king size bed can use upgrade. Other than that it was a wonderful time.

I was expecting a well kept, modern up to date condo unit. The best part of this whole experience was the location which was right on the beach. Having said that I contacted the manager/owner to let them know that the shade in the bedroom was damaged, there was an large open chest with doors and inside the door were mirrors, one of which was craked through the middle of it. There were cracks on the floor in the bedroom and kitchen. One of the cabinets was missing a knob. The molding on the bathroom and bedroom had cracks. No door on the bedroom and had to unplug existing lights on dresser to be able to use my chargers. The end lights were not similar. The patio door on the outside very stained and chairs were dirty. When I made the owner/manager aware of this she got very angry with me. If you want a nice modern unit don't stay here. Even the elevator is cracked inside with some holes. Oh there was also a hole in the kitchen tile. i gave it one star because of the location and the supplies that were provided. Never Stay There Again. I have plenty of pictures to prove what i said.

The condo is on the beach with great balcony. Was very clean and had everything we needed. The instructions,codes,info was easy to follow and parking was great and secure. We are planning to book this condo again!!

We stayed four nights at the Florence in late August. The space was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable and lots of extra space to store our bags, toiletries, clothes. Very quiet. all the people were welcoming and pet friendly. The view is glorious! The beach is RIGHT THERE. We would definitely stay again!

This location is right on the beach and you overlook the pool! The condo is cozy and fit the 4 of us just right. I will definitely stay here again because it was a easy access to the beach and pool. The building is older but very solid. You never hear your neighbors. The bed is comfortable too. One thing I would warn you about...don't set up a tent on the beach any earlier than 9am because they will give out tickets. Thank you Condo Ladies for the stay!

Easy-going

This was my girlfriend’s first time staying at SPI and at a property right by the water. We wished we would have stayed another day! The view, the convenience, and comfort will bring us back again. Thank you, Laura!!

The condo was absolutely perfect, plenty of room and loved being on the beach. The balcony view is amazing! Beds were all very comfortable and loved the AC! Keep it nice and cold after a hot day on the beach. Thank you so much and we will definitely be reaching out again for another stay.

Right on the beach for an easy walk in the morning and great view form the balcony for evening cocktails. Internet was sketchy causing me to cancel some minor work details I had planned to attend to during my stay. Floor was not very clean upon arrival as my bare feet bottoms were black within minutes of walking around the place.

This condo is the perfect size for two or a small family/group. Keep in mind that it has one bathroom. It was super clean and beautifully decorated! Amazing views of the ocean from the balcony and just a short walk to the beach. My husband and I are planning to visit here again ❤️
