We love this funky place. Right in the village Wonderful new deck with a lovely view of the coast.

This very funky little gem is the only place I will ever stay in Mendo. Hubby slept in the main bedroom and I in the "kids bedroom" and both beds were super comfy. I loved my little cave! The kitchen is nicely appointed and the living areas just right. It's 2 blocks from Main St and the Headlands. I cannot get over how quiet it was. The only problem we had was vrbo giving us the reervation and taking our deposit. It was an extreme hassle. Ron took the reigns and did a great job getting it all straightened out. Can't wait to go back!

Loved staying at this delightful place. The gardens are beautiful and the buildings are marvelous. My dog loved being able to safely inspect the whole property. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Our second stay and even better than the first! So much charm and character and amazing location...walked everywhere all weekend.

The drawings and photos were accurate, but it did not say there were actually two buildings. The living room, dining room and kitchen are in one, while the bedrooms and bath are in another. Different but a great experience for those not used to the old concept of cottage. It was very peaceful, and the garden is very nice with an ocean view. We had our apéritif out in the garden. Kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of good DVDs to watch. Loved the rocking chairs. Bed was extremely comfortable with nice heavy blanket. You are in walking distance of everything, so we didn't use the car at all - just parked it in front and walked everywhere. Definitely a nice place to stay, and it would be a treat for older children (around 10) for loft sleeping.

We try to stay here every year and love everything about this property. The new deck on the lower part of the lot has a beautiful view of the ocean and is a great place to have a meal or read a book. The location cannot be beat.

Such a beautiful place to call home base while walking around the lovely hamlet of Mendocino. The dual buildings were just the right blend of vintage California with the living room/kitchen building being represented in the Mendocino Museum's 3D diorama as present in 1860. The hot tub was a wonderful nightly ritual and the lawn, the lushest you could ever lay on, was dreamy as was the ocean view from the table and chairs at the far end of the plot. California Dreamin' indeed. Can't wait to visit again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We loved it. Our doggie loved the yard she could have played there all day. We were able to walk to restaurants and take her as well Thanks again for having us.
