We stayed for the July 4th week with our six month old puppy. The cottage was perfect for two people and very dog friendly - including the water and food bowls put out for him. The yard is beautiful, all fenced in and well maintained. We did not need for anything. The secluded location and proximity to restaurants and stores is the perfect balance. It deserves its five stars.

JUST WONDERFUL! A short drive off a relatively main road leads you another road that leads you to a short drive to your tranquil, off-the-beaten path, little paradise. What a perfect location to relax, unwind, and decompress...yet still close to groceries, gas and the hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville if you so choose! It's the best of a few worlds. Check-in, the stay, the wonderful accommodations, checkout, communications, the peace and safety, etc. were quite perfect. Two thumbs up! We (including our small dog who enjoyed the tidy, manicured backyard) plan to return. Total dog retreat for well-behaved furry babies who love the freedom of grass, hanging on the back porch with their owner(s), and the owner(s)' water and food bowls provided in the kitchen. Our 2nd time to Asheville, but our 1st at this property. We'll be back, and THIS is where we want to stay.

Book this property NOW! The location was so quiet and peaceful, and the cottage itself was super clean and comfortable. The covered porch outside the bedroom was probably our favorite place to relax (along with the hot tub). The views of Elk Mountain are spectacular and you are literally 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway (accessible without having to go back through town). While there we saw wild turkeys, a hawk, and the neighborhood bear. We really loved hanging out between hikes, exploring town, and eating at some of our favorite restaurants. We hope to return on our next visit to the AVL!

Super relaxing stay

This private small home was PERFECT! Clean, updated,comfortable, with quiet beautiful little yard with 3 sitting areas, covered porch. The views are amazing. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

This is our second stay & won’t be our last. We love the location of this house. It is nearby the Blue Ridge Parkway & only 15 -20 mins from anywhere we wanted to go in Asheville. The backyard is good size & space for a dog. We enjoyed reading in the sun on the comfortable loungers, sitting by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, or watching the rain under the covered back porch. Inside the home is beautifully decorated. We especially loved the tile work throughout.

This is a gem of a place! Great amenities, close to downtown, very quiet and private. The host is responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

This house was amazing! Easy check in. Excellent location, 10min from downtown Asheville! Hiking trails all over. We are already planning another trip to come back in fall

Tammy helped facilitate a great vacation. She provided us with dog friendly restauraunts and bars! The backyard was perfect for our dogs! The location was really close to dt yet was still quiet and peaceful!

My husband and I needed a break and we've taken trips to this area before, but I have to say this property checked all the boxes on our list of preferences. It's in a populated area, but still nicely secluded and private. It was roomy, beautifully appointed, and such a nice place to relax, perfect for a couple. We were very close to downtown Ashville and didn't have to hop on a freeway to get there. There is also a beautiful minor cathedral very close to this property where we went to Sunday mass. This my husband's and my 2nd stay at this property with our dog Vinnie (3-year old Corgi). Our first visit was October 2021 and we loved it. The setting with the landscaping is beautiful and private while at the same time you feel safe in your surroundings. The cottage is warm and welcoming with a gas fireplace and plenty of windows to view the surrounding mountain area and landscaping. As many other reviewers have said, it's very well stocked and Tammy thinks of everything! She is always in touch and approachable. During our visit this past week, there were some unexpected lower than normal temperatures. Tammy was in contact with us to let us know preparations were made to accommodate the weather. There was a snowfall which was beautiful and our dog loved fetching and catching his frisbee in the snow. We enjoyed the fireplace and the downtime from our daily grind. We'll be back!

This get away was perfect!! Tammy was right on point with a couple of questions I had and the absolute nicest you could ask for. The house was clean and actually secluded which I had my doubts about. When you are at the house you don’t realize the other houses are close because of the closed in fence. I highly recommend for anyone that just needs a break.

This was a great location. Close to many things, but a nice place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The yard was perfect for our dog. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED this little cabin nestled in the mtn. Super close to town AND still secluded and private! We enjoyed sipping our beers while sitting out back around the fire pit. The hot tub was also a nice touch to end our hectic day. AND- our sweet Winnie (fur baby) 100% LOVED LOVED LOVED the fenced in yard. She may have loved it more than we did, lol. While visiting, we drove over to Maggie Valley and got our Christmas tree. We hope to make this an annual tradition and hope to stay here 🤗

This property is really nice for a quick getaway. It is tucked back in a residential neighborhood which made for a nice quiet stay. There was an issue with the fireplace and communication with Tammy was quick and everything resolved by the next morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly, highly recommend! I never leave reviews but this was necessary. I loved the location, privacy and the communication with the owner. I'm telling everyone and can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend, dog and myself all stayed at this adorable cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to downtown area, but far enough away to feel secluded. Fenced in backyard was great for our dog to run around while we sat in the hot tub. Close enough to many trails for hiking and walks. Fall colors were beautiful. Check-in was easy. Nothing bad to report at all. Don’t question, just book it. You won’t regret your stay!☺️

We had a great mini-vacation at the Asheville house! Convenient to town for shopping and restaurants. House is perfect for 2 people. Loved the fireplace! Yard is great for dogs and fully enclosed. We appreciated the dog towels/covers to wipe down dirty paws. Great management. Thank you!

We had an absolute blast in the mountains for the weekend. This property was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed it was close enough to Asheville but remote enough to feel secluded. Thanks for a great stay!

We normally stay at this property for atleast 5 days however this was a quick two night trip to experience the zip lining tour in Saluda. As always it was perfect! My only suggestion is to maybe cut back some of the small trees and brush around the back deck as it is starting to obstruct our view of the mountains that we have always loved about this property. Other than that amazing as usual!
