Beautiful beach front home!! Enjoyed the very short walk to the beach on the semi private beach access. Very short walk to community pool. Brenda responded quickly to messages and was lovely to work with.

Loved our time here and we will be back in the future!

Plenty of space for a girl’s weekend trip. Great view of the beach. Private pier. Hot tub was wonderful. Enjoyed having the grill for cooking dinner.

The house was/is amazing!! We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. Very clean and inviting. The house was top notch from top to bottom. We made most of our meals there and enjoyed the spacious kitchen we could work together in! View is spectacular- we saw dolphins almost every day - So Fun! Such a relaxing time - the dining room table was roomy enough for my daughter to do a puzzle on one end and had plenty of room for all of us to dine together and play games on the rest of it. The owner and property manager were so accommodating and easy to work with. Thank you for letting us make your home ours for a week. Wish we could have stayed longer... We'll be back!

This property has it all! Oceanfront, a hot tub to watch the sunsets on the beach and beautiful interior to make you feel like you are being treated on your beach getaway. The host was amazing and went above and beyond for our last minute holiday booking. I didn’t want to leave! Shirt walk to the pier and next door to the best gluten-free restaurant on the NC coast! The regular food is delicious too! We biked, played tennis and got our beach time in. Truly amazing you won’t want to miss out!

This was a perfect place for three families with young children. The beach is great- tidal pools and not crowded with plenty of space even at high tide. House was really lovely and well maintained with a perfect lay out for large dinners, cooking and entertaining children. Community pool is so close and such a great option especially for young kids. Donna was so helpful at check in and throughout our stay if we had any questions or concerns. Loved this place and will be booking again!

My family and I had an amazing week. The property manager was attentive to any questions we had. The property was clean and beautiful. We will gladly rent this property again in the future.

Very positive experience

This property exceeded our expectations! Brenda and Donna were very responsive with all of our questions prior and during our stay. Upon arrival, the unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. We found the top floor bedroom a little warmer than others, but that is expected for a top floor room. Brenda had a ceiling fan and portable fan to keep our family cool up there. It worked out well and they felt cool when sleeping the whole week. Our family found all the beds to be very comfortable. The beach access was incredible. You can’t get much closer than that! The community pool was recently renovated and very well maintained. It’s a short walk from the unit. The private hot tub was a huge bonus for us. My dad has a bad knee and appreciated the elevator to the first floor living area/bedroom. This unit was perfect for him since there were limited stairs and it was a short walk to the beach and pool. The kitchen had everything we could have needed. We made many large family dinners. One addition we might suggest is an ice maker. Although, the freezer made Ice very quick. Some of us were working remote and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. You can tell Brenda took the time to make sure all the little things were in each room. Plenty of hooks to hang wet suits or towels, travel size toiletries, ceiling fans in each room, waterfall like shower heads, and beach equipment for everyone in the storage closet! This property is about 7 minutes to the grocery store and some shops. It was close to everything you could need, but not crowded at all. We are looking forward to coming back again next summer to this unit. Thank you Brenda and Donna!

Perfect beach home for our family with private master suite on 3rd floor as well as a kid-friendly 2nd floor. Elevator to the family space plus extras like linens and beach gear were very convenient. The kids loved having access to the pool and adults loved the hot tub. We will make this an annual rental for our family vacation - four generations over 45 years of visits to Topsail Island.

We had a great week at this property. The beach access was great and the beach itself was perfect! We’ve been renting at Topsail for a lot of years. Never rented a duplex and I was skeptical but this house served our family of 12 very well. We never felt cramped or crowded. It is in very good condition and clean! One suggestion is to have a hose down below so it makes rinsing off chairs and toys easier. We would definitely rent this property again. Thank you!

Our large group had a great experience with this beach front property. The house was very large and spacious allowing 5 adults and 5 children enough room to all have our own space but still be together in the same room. The owner was always very quick with communication before and during our stay. The property was clean and ready for us shortly before the check in time. The north side of the island doesn’t have as much business as the lower side. This was great for us as the beach was less crowded. But, be prepared to drive 15-20 minutes to get to restaurants and grocery stores. Again, not a big deal for us as we were looking for just a family retreat! We look forward to renting this property again.

Extremely nice, spacious ocean front condo in a great quiet location just a short drive from busier spots. Clean with a well appointed kitchen. Community pool just a short walk away. Hot tub on the deck was used every night. Any questions or issues that came up were promptly dealt with by the property manager or owner. We had a perfect stay and will stay again!

We loved our time on Topsail. The house was clean and beautiful upon arrival. Donna (the owner) was very responsive to questions (kids needing Wi-Fi password). The view from every deck was breathtaking. My kids favorite activity was searching the beach for sharks teeth, which we found many. My favorite memory, was that we were lucky enough to watch turtles hatch on the second night.

Great house in a perfect spot! Wonderful communication with owner. All as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Other than a bit of rain every day, it really was a great week.

The property was everything we needed for our family. Kitchen was well equipped, home was clean and well furnished. Oceanfront location was amazing for accessing the beach and the 1 restaurant nearby was great.

Our family had a fantastic time and felt very comfortable at this house! There’s a nice outdoor shower with warm water too, on same level as carport, so no dragging sand into house or anywhere else. Kitchen was pretty well equipped but next time I’ll bring my good knives. Donna was great and answered any questions I had - very quickly. Elevator definitely cane in handy from carport to 1st level. There were 13 of us, we had no problems and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in future

This was a great location and townhouse for our family reunion. Great access to everything and rooms and bathrooms very comfortable. The elevator to kitchen made it easy to transport groceries and luggage. Would choose to stay again.

Great kitchen, very well equipped. Lots of sand chairs & beach toys however some of the beach umbrellas needed repair. Bring a sweatshirt, as with most multi level homes, the AC is very cool on the 1st floor and not quite as cool on the 2nd & 3rd floors. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and our stay.

The best part about this unit is the location: it does have spectacular views of the ocean, offers its own stretch of uncrowded beach, and is within easy walking distance of the fishing pier. The second best part about renting this property is Donna, the property manager, who was pleasant, professional and accessible every time we needed her, even on Easter Sunday morning. HOWEVER, the unit does NOT look exactly like the pictures: the bedspreads in several of the bedrooms were NOT those in the photos, and did NOT match the decor AT ALL, which detracted from the overall appearance of the rooms; the walls are in SERIOUS need of repainting; and the facings of the kitchen cabinets and drawers are all chipped and peeling. Also, beware that the property has some maintainance issues: when we arrived, we had to replace SIX lightbulbs throughout the house(!); there are not any handles on the exterior water spigots(!); there is evidence of water leaks around some windows; the clothes dryer took HOURS to dry clothes; and there was mold growing in the master bathroom due to a poorly sealed shower door which CONSTANTLY leaked water on the floor. The community pool wasn't open and the sewer flooded during our stay. The unit was also NOT well cleaned. There was sand in the bunkbeds; dust, dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom floors; dust covering the tops of doors and window blinds; and dirt and dust staining the ceiling all around the air conditioner vents. In fact, the downstairs air conditioner didn't work for the first 2 days, and when the repairman checked the filters, it was the most horrifying, nasty thing any of us had ever seen. They may have been the originals from the unit's construction in 2005! We also had issues with the hot tub (the water turned green by the middle of the week due to unsufficient chemicals) and there was evidence of someone having had a white dog or cat in the unit (judging by the considerable amounts of hair stuck to the bottoms of the chairs and glommed behind doors), although there are supposedly no pets allowed. We spent the first day and a half cleaning the unit ourselves, since we missed the one-hour window we had to complain. Since there was only a broom and a dustbuster provided, I purchased a Swiffer sweeper/mop to use on the hard floors and bathrooms. Whoever rented the unit after we did got a whole lot cleaner place, thanks to us! Again, the location is lovely & Donna was helpful, but the unit needs some attention.

We have rented houses off and on since 1996 on Topsail Island, NC. This house, by far, exceeded our expectations. Donna was always cordial and helpful with our requests and inquiries. The house's location is ideal for families to access the beach and the community swimming pool. We found Summer Breeze to be well cared for and superbly equipped. Thank you for allowing us to use your ocean front property!

We had one of the best vacations of our lives. The house was set up perfect for entertaining and the young adults had a ball. The hot tub and pool were always clean and the ocean was warm. We want to come back next year.

An incredible place to stay! The house is perfect! There is so much here that you hardly have to bring anything with you! The distance to the beach is perfect!! The hot tub is so wonderful at night to unwind from the day. One note...there is only 1 King size bed. The one on the 3rd floor. The other beds are Queen size. The wall between the two duplexes is a little thin, too. If you have a crying baby next door, you'll know it. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had!!!
