This cottage was small but clean and perfect for two people. Backyard was very pretty. Short walk into town. I would note that the cottage is just to the left of the main house. We were confused when we arrived but Wilma met us and was very gracious. She told us all about the cottage and how it was on the lake and moved to the current location. There are a lot of interesting pictures within the cottage. We would definitely return.

This was a great little cottage for an affordable romantic weekend getaway without the kids! The cottage is definitely tiny, but for two people that enjoy each other and that plan to spend the days elsewhere, it’s perfect. The garden area is beautiful. It’s shared with the main house, but the privacy screening made it feel like it was all ours. We never saw the owner other than at church in and check out. The only minor inconveniences that would be worth noting that made this a 4 star not 5 star for us is that the shower hot water tank must be very small because there isn’t enough for much more that a quick shower, and there isn’t actually a microwave - it’s a toaster oven, which is more limited in what can be heated up. Generally though, it was fantastic for what we paid, the owner made great use of the tiny space. It’s walking distance to town, but well beyond the busy and loud of downtown. It’s nice and secluded but convenient to everything. A great option!

My sister and I got away at the end of the year. It was great to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. My sister is planning another trip with her daughter to this same cottage. It was great!

The cottage is everything we needed, and so perfectly situated. Located at the end of a quiet street and surrounded by the property owner’s beautiful garden. Loaded with charm and close to both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. We loved our stay!

Great location, clean, great host! Hope to come back! Enjoyed Lake Michigan, Petters gallery and wine, high end merch, brewery, soo many antique shops, saw deer, rabbits and the beautiful fall foliage. Sunset at oval beach is a must.

We really enjoyed our visit to Saugatuck. You could walk to town from this little cottage. It was quiet, peaceful & had everything we needed.

The cottage is so cozy and wonderfully finished. The location is great. We were easily able to walk into downtown or hop in the car for a quick drive to the beach. The property manager was kind, welcoming, and attentive. We highly recommend.

This cute cottage is exactly as advertised. It was very clean and equipped with most amenities you might need. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We felt very welcomed and we’re given a rundown of the history of the cottage and what is the local area offered. The backyard gardens were beautiful and such a joy to wake up to every morning. I would not hesitate to rent this historic cottage.

We loved our stay at this charming cottage! It was so close to downtown that we walked each day. The size of the home was perfect for us and the backyard is adorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage with zen like garden. Quiet area away from hustle and bustle of downtown Saugatuck. Scenic 10 min walk to downtown. Short drive to Oval beach. Perfect for two people. Highly recommend.

This is the second year we stayed at this little cottage. It is very clean and well taken care of. The owner lives next door and is very friendly. She is there to great you but then you don't see her unless you want to. The cottage is walking distance to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. The back deck looks at a beautiful garden area and you are very secluded from the outside world. The fountain is amazing and the sound from it, very relaxing.

The cottage was great! Wilma was so nice and had some fun facts for us. You can walk to town and dinner! So much to see and do. We will definitely be coming back next year!

We had a wonderful stay - the cottage and beautiful gardens surrounding it were restful and so peaceful. It was a short walk to the restaurants and shopping.

It was so wonderful staying in this cottage. We didn’t need much because we were gallivanting around town, so coming back to a quaint peaceful haven was exactly what we needed. Wilma offered great suggestions on restaurants and things to do and we did all of them - we can attest that her recommendations were perfect. We certainly plan to come back to visit and we certainly plan to stay here again. Also, her garden is a dream!!! Listening to the fountain in the early morning set us up for a lovely day and a relaxed night.
