Perfect in every way

We stayed here with my parents and our two kids (7 and 3) while we were in town for a wedding. The process was so easy and the house was lovely. Our kids loved running around the backyard and spending time in the swing and we all enjoyed spending time at the beach down the block. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet - exactly what we needed. Thanks so much, Betsy!

We absolutely loved staying here! The house is cozy and has a great elevated beachy aesthetic. The backyard and decks are absolutely fantastic! Great spot to grill after the beach and for our 3 year old to run around. And the location can’t be beat! Beach down the street, bagel shop, small grocery and wine store nearby and great restaurants and bars with live music a quick bike ride away. Can’t wait to go back again next year!!

Me and my group of friends couldn't have enjoyed our stay more at this home. The house is very cutely decorated and has everything you need - beach chairs, cookware, outside grilling space, and great vibes. The host was great too and was flexible with check-in/check-out and was responsive via text when we had a question while staying at the property. Great location too! Highly reco walking to Uihlein's Marina for jet skiing!

We had a short but very relaxing visit to Montauk. The house is stocked full of essentials for the beach. We loved walking down the street to the private beach and to the harbor shops and restaurants. We started and ended each day on the double chaise lounge. Betsy is a wonderful host and so responsive. I highly recommend staying here!

Betsy’s home made for a great week-long getaway with friends. The house is so charming, clean, modern but with a beach vibe. It is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants. We had a really great time and would love to stay here again! Communication was prompt and everything was easy

We loved our month at this home in Culloden Shores. It was clean, a great location and Betsy was super responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back soon!

The house was completely clean and we have near impossible-to-meet standards when it comes to cleanliness. It was also cozy, located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood right near the beach. We spent more time indoors as our stay was midwinter, but we put on our coats at points and relaxed on the gorgeous deck out back for as long as we could stand being out there. Betsy replied to every request or question incredibly quickly. We would definitely stay here again!!

My family of four had a monthlong stay and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the quiet neighborhood. The home is clean with an updated interior and utilities. My husband was able to work from 'home' comfortably with the high speed internet and Nest controlled central air. We BBQ'd on the deck and even celebrated my son's 4th birthday at the Beach House. The host was great in responding knowledgably and timely to any questions or problems that popped up. I recommend to anyone, especially families. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us. We had a great time and made lots of memories!

This house was truly amazing, it is so cute and clean and comes with everything you could possibly need. Very close to the beach and Gosmans dock. The outdoor space is perfect for entertaining. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to doing so in the future.

My family of four stayed for five nights and enjoyed every second. The property owner is super friendly and responds to inquiries in a timely fashion (thanks Betsy!) Working with her couldn't have been easier. The house is located on a quiet street in Montauk Harbor and has access to a small private beach (great for kids). It's a quick bike ride to the shopping area in Montauk Harbor to grab supplies (or ice cream). The garage was stocked with everything one could need at the beach which was a huge plus when packing for our trip (and very generous of the owner to allow renters to use their gear). The spacious backyard was great to run around with the kids after a day at-the-beach. This was the perfect home base for our week at the beach. Would absolutely recommend for folks interested in staying near Montauk Harbor.

Fantastic! House and location were beautiful! Love the house decor! Betsy-my wife insists I tell you that she loved your color coordinated gardens! We’ve rented many times in Montauk and it is safe to say this was one of the more enjoyable vacations!! Thanks for all your time and effort!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Check-in was easy and the pictures don’t do it justice! Everything you need for a beach vacation was available which makes packing a breeze. The expansive deck, outdoor shower and garden are a huge bonus and you don’t need to even leave the property to feel in “vacation mode”. The private beach is a few minutes walk away and calm which is perfect for younger kids. The gosmans area is walking distance and full of restaurants and some bars too making the trip “downtown” unnecessary (I expect this to be an even bigger plus during peak season). Stay here, you won’t regret it!

We stayed at The Beach House for 3 nights with our 2 boys. The house is in a perfect location on a quiet street but with easy access to a private beach. There is a wonderful lawn at the back that kept our boys happy with soccer and baseball. Betsy has equipped the house with all the necessary things that are needed for beach and lounging on the beautiful deck overlooking the lawn. The house has a lovely maritime feel and the beds are extra comfortable! There are lots of places to eat within walking distance, but the barbeque and chimnea make it difficult to even leave the back yard! We LOVED this house and will return!...

This was the best VRBO I have stayed at. The owner betsy was so hospitable she even left a case of Montauk beers in the fridge to welcome us into the house. The House was clean and organized. Our family of five recently stayed at Betsey's Montauk house and had a blast. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos--beautifully appointed with everything you would need for a beach vacation. Each day we packed up and drove no more than 5 minutes to some of the most beautiful ocean beaches we've seen. The kids had so much fun boogie boarding in the waves and then we'd return to the sweet, quiet beach at the end of Betsey's street for lounging on a raft or for a paddle board ride. Dinners out were super convenient in the Harbor area--really great food and many restaurants offered live music and/or a killer water view. The house itself was gorgeous. Really tastefully decorated--the bed linens were incredible with so much attention to detail and the needs of a renter. From plenty of towels to coffee to phone chargers, Betsey thought of it all. We spent quite a bit of time on the amazing deck and the spacious backyard playing yard games, grilling out, or just reading a book on the double lounger. I really can't say enough--you can tell how much Betsey loves her Montauk home and what a treat that she has allowed guests to rent her beautiful home in such a fantastic location. We hope to return!

We loved our stay at Betsys .We stayed for a week to attend a family wedding.We arrived in the evening so didnt get chance to explore until the morning.Breakfast on the decking over looking private garden with the birds singing and the sun shining.Such a lovely property plenty big enough for family of 5 but does sleep 6 very well equipped .Bikes very useful for shopping but they are within easy walking distance, we loved Gosmans which sold quality fresh produce also used Montauk market and the nearby liquor store.We also loved the outdoor shower and wondered if we should get one at home (only kidding we are from England) We would certainly recommend this to our family and friends and wouldnt hesitate to stay there again if we were lucky enough to return to Montauk.

This charming house was beautifully decorated, had a deck to to die for, and every gorgeous and convenient touch you need. Outdoor shower is lovely. The beach in walking distance was our sunset spot every night! I can't say enough about how much my in-laws, my mother and my family enjoyed this house. I love that she thought to get all the necessities one needs...you don't walk into an empty house where you have to take care of all those things. It was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend and plan to tell my friends and to return next year. I really didn't want to leave!

Great vacation spot. The house was beautifully decorated, great multi-level deck, and outdoor shower. The bay was at the end of the road. The area is so peaceful yet walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are looking forward to next summer as well:)

We had a great family vacation. House was clean and beautifully decorated. Close to beach which the kids loved to bike to. The host was more then accommodating and was always there if we had questions. The perk of the vaca was the outdoor shower!! Loved it! Can't wait for next year.

This house has a great vibe, nice decor and a fabulous outdoor space, with a large deck, backyard with fire pit and my favorite, the outdoor shower. Perfect for a summer getaway with friends, grilling lobster on the bbq and enjoying the warm Montauk evenings. It is conveniently located to walk to the beach, and to shops and restaurants. It is equipped with just about everything you need, the only thing missing are some good kitchen knives if you are planning to do some cooking.

I recently stayed in this home after admiring the photos, and the experience was beyond my expectations....The house is so gorgeous with an amazing deck... Great light and atmosphere. The host did a wonderful job making us feel welcome, and it's clear that she takes wonderful care of the home. Location is perfect, as it's walking distance to the beach and a cute shopping area, which was great for more quiet laid-back days and nights. It was also easy to have a night on the town, as all of the popular hot spots are just a short cab ride away... A perfect spot for fun, sun, and relaxation. Can't wait to return.

My wife and I had an amazing weekend in Montauk. The rental is a quintinesntial beach house. It is literally down the block from a private beach on the long island sound, has a massive outdoor deck and a great outdoor shower. At night we just hungout around the firepit in the backyard, but the house is located near much of Montauk's nightlife. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Wow. All we have to say is wow. What an amazing house and weekend. The neighbors on both sides are awesome. The house is beautiful inside and out. Everything was literally brand new. The private beach at the end of Duryea is exceptional for sunsets over the Bay. The firepit int he back year was an exceptional addition. The outdoor shower was fantastic and the brand new cedar deck was exceptional. Not a thing was missing, except for BBQ utensils. I was only able to find the BBQ brush. Maybe i didnt look in the right place. The owner will be supplying these in the very near future. I will absolutely be back, if not this summer, then next.

Staying at this house was a little slice of heaven. It’s the perfect beach bungalow with great energy, lots of light, a huge outdoor deck/backyard and located steps from a private beach (not to mention the amazing outdoor designer shower!). I went for a weekend getaway with a couple of friends and we had a blast. We spent our days in the sun at the beach and our nights eating at some of Montauk’s most hip restaurants. This house has everything you need and more and I will definitely be going back!
