Took our family for a week. 8 adults 2 kids and 2 infants. Kids absolutely loved the pool and maybe back yard to run in. Us adults loved the lay out and openness of the house and amazing our door area for hanging out and cooking. Guys loved the access to the water to be able to fish everyday and the easy and close access to the marina down the street for the boat. Enough parking for our boat and 4 large vehicles. Highly recommend this house. Close to everything. Thank you for a great week

This house was perfect for our vacation. There were 18 of us, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids really loved the pool, and taking the kayaks out into the bay.

We just returned from a large vacation with family and friends at this property. The property itself is immaculate, and in the prime location. It is clear the owners and management have taken every extra step to prepare this property for a fantastic vacation experience Every detail was thought of, and I’ve never stayed in a better property in my life I can tell you that you will not be disappointed in your experience.

This house was perfect for our family trip, with 16 of us, on our second trip to Port St. Joe. There is ample parking and the location is a great home base for a week’s trip, or longer. There are a ton of things to do in the area, and we’ll definitely be back soon. The house was obviously well-thought out and has everything you’ll need. The kitchen is stocked, and the bedrooms and living areas are nicely furnished. The majority of our time was spent in the backyard around the pool, in the outdoor kitchen/dining area, or near the water enjoying the amazing views. The paddle boards and kayaks were a welcome treat, and were used daily by our group, whether it was up at daybreak to paddle out to fish, or out near sunset to see what creatures we could see stirring. The owner/host was great. Answered all questions promptly, and usually before we thought of them. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

We were totally blown away with the White Heron. The house is beautiful, and the minute you walk in, you just immediately go into vacation mode. Caprise the property manager was the sweetest person ever and made sure we had what we needed, and we knew she was available and happy to help if we had any issues. The backyard was an oasis for all of us, and the paddle boards and kayaks were a hit! Our family all agrees that this beach house is amazing, so we rebooked for next year before we left! Also, PSJ is an amazing town with the nicest people, great restaurants and yummy ice cream! Thank you for making our family vacation one of the most memorable ever!

Beautiful setting for our family vacation during the holiday week. House is everything the pictures portray but we spent most of our time in the yard. Between the fabulous kitchen, the games, the pool, the hot tub and most of all the breathtaking view!

This is our 2nd time staying and it was just like the first , PERFECT!! The house is amazing and the outdoor area is like a resort. We loved everything!!

We had our entire family (3 adult children, their spouses and eight grandchildren) together for a week to celebrate a significant birthday. The house had something for everyone and, being within walking distance of the restaurants and shops in Port St Joe was a plus. We had everything needed to cook and play. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen/dining area. Kids kayaked and paddleboarded. Best family vacation ever! We will be back.

This house has it all; the owner has thought of everything necessary for a large group. Communication was exceptional as well. We’ll be back!

This property is one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at in that area. The house in the town are just so beautiful and welcoming. The house offered so many activities for the kids and adults, the backyard is an entertainment paradise. The town’s people were so nice and helpful, and there are neat restaurants and shopping boutiques. Our house manager was amazing, she helped me with things like finding the thermostat in the game room all the way to having a package delivered to the local post office. Love, love, love, this place, and we will definitely be back!

We liked it so much we are booking it again for next year.

This is our second time staying at this house. It is great for a get together for family and friends. We love all the activities for the kids and the walkability of the town! Caprise is great and helped us with whatever we needed. We hope to be back again!

This property is exactly as described. The sunset is unmatched, there is plenty of space and everything was in working order! The property manager, Caprise, was absolutely amazing. My daughter needed to go to an urgent care center while we were there and Caprise immediately reached out to the area to offer suggestions. The location is directly outside of the main "city" and the downtown area is quaint and accessible. Loved our first time in Port St. Joe and this property was incredible!8uytr

Wonderful place for families. There was so much to do including playing pickle ball at the near by park. The kids were in the pool all day. Beautiful sunsets. The house was very clean. Would certainly come again.

This property has something for every member of our family from 10 months to 80 years. We were so pleased with the White Heron and are convinced we could not have found any place better. They have thought of everything. Thanks for making our first combined family outing a real success.

Where to begin? Absolutely stunning property. We hardly left the place, which is partially why we chose the place because they had everything! Kitchen: plenty of everything you need to cook Laundry: two sets of units - overflow for storing personal stuff Living room: cozy and comfy. Very large tv :) Game room: awesome-had so much fun with the pool table Bedrooms: beds were so comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious/showers the same. Box fans in every bedroom closet (bonus for us white-noise sleepers - or to cool a room - lol) Outdoor area: Breathtakingly awesome! Pool and hot tub were perfect. The grill and dining area were great. Loved having a tv out there. Yard games, fridge, pool floaties. The lounge furniture is soooooooo comfortable. The bed! The bed is amazing! Fire pit had a hose next to it, so helpful for putting the fire out. Shower and bathroom outside-they just thought of everything! And last, but certainly not least, the sunsets!!!!!! Gorgeous! I would go back in a heartbeat :)

This place is magical! A small town, but you feel like you're on a private island in the back yard. We enjoyed family time, enjoyed God's beautiful sunsets, and explored the beautiful town. Absolutely perfect in every way!

My family and I spent a week here in February, 2023. It is a beautiful location. We did not have to leave the property to do anything!! Seen dolphins in the bay, kids were able to kayak and paddle board right in the yard with everything included! The house is beautiful and was very clean!!! The hostess was very helpful in any and everything we needed or wanted! Port St. Joe is such a quaint little town and the people are so friendly! Our trip was perfect and would recommend to anyone with a large family!!

This house is perfect for larger groups, and has so much room to spread out! The views from the backyard were picture perfect.

We had 10 adults & 6 kids from 3-17yrs and the house felt soooo spacious! More rooom than it looks like in pictures. Kitchen was more than adequately stocked with huge stockpots and even an instapot! I was worried about refigerator space with all the food we brought but it was not mentioned there was a second full size frig outside under the pergola. Lifesaver! There was not however, a beverage frig in the dry bar which may have been helpful when making drinks in that area. The pool and hot tub were the biggest we have ever had in a rental and were used day and night. We took family pictures at sunset and every night there were new colors in the sky. So beautiful! We spent most of our time outside playing games around the table (even yard games and a foosball table provided) or sitting on the huge sectional watching a movie, yes, there is a tv outside! A couple fyi's: the showers are huge and amazing but there is no bathtub in the house (in case you have little ones), also, the guest room downstairs has a Full size bed. The rest were kings and queens. Was just not expecting that. A little small for 2 adults. The only thing we were a smidge dissapointed in was the shorline (obviously no fault of the owner) that was full of nasty icky seaweed and hundreds of jellyfish. kids could not go near without water shoes and we determined we would bring rainboots for next time. In all fairness we did arrive after a hurricane so we are blaming what appears to be and isolated incident (because it was never mentioned in any other reviews) on Ian! This did not eliminate the fun we still had with all the paddle boats and kayaks! If you think your kids will miss the waves off the ocean, there is a public beach 10 minutes west toward mexico beach. We spent 2 hours in the ocean and everyone was ready to get back to our private retreat! I cannot say enough good things about this property. My family has been spoiled so we will definitely be returning. Pricey? Yes! Worth it? Absolutely! There's no turning back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was in incredible condition, spotless upon arrival. All the rooms had very comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware for large family’s. Also plenty of parking for 6-8 vehicles comfortably. The outdoor area is where this place really flexes. The entire backyard is an entertainment zone, just as you see in the photos there is everything you need. From the pool to the kitchen, the outdoor bathroom and shower are amazing for keeping people from tracking through the house. The paddle boards and life vests are clean and in great condition for easy use. The beach area is clean and perfect for the beach lovers, while the bay offers calmer waters for kids to enjoy without fear of being toppled by waves. The shallow tides of the bay offer the explorers of the group an abundance of wildlife to observe, and no to mention the incredible sunrise’s and sunset’s! The View is awesome! Would highly recommend to everyone.

This is really a great vacation home for larger groups. There was something for everyone to do: fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, playing games, walking along the shore - the list goes on. We didn't realize how grassy this part of the coastline is and was hoping for sandier beaches, but Cape Sans Blas beach was only about a 20 min drive to get our sandy beaches and waves in. We thoroughly enjoyed wading in the shallow waters at the house and finding a plethora of sea life. The town of Port St Joe is small - only a handful of restaurants and shops, but very welcoming and charming nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this house for vacationing families.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Lots of fun and activities for all ages from the little kids to the older members of our family. The photos don't even do it justice.

This property was a great place to relax and enjoy the bay and surrounding area. We absolutely loved the outdoor patio, it gave us a great place to hang out during the rainy afternoons. We appreciated the prompt response given to us by the property manager when we developed an electrical issue. We would encourage everyone to stay at this property, I know that we will gladly stay at this home if we return to the area.

Overall this place was great. Everything you need right there for your own getaway. No need to leave. There were times the tide was out which left no water by the shore. When reading the description, make sure you do note the 5th bathroom (shower) is an outside shower and there are only 4 full baths inside for the 6 rooms. Everything was well maintained and the extra touches to this place are amazing. The backyard pavilion is perfect and the sunsets are amazing. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Plenty of parking for multiple families. Walking distance to downtown.

We stayed here two years ago and everyone insisted that this was our beach house in the future for our annual beach vacation. The location as one of the only houses on the bay could not be better. Walking distance to downtown, getting up each morning and walking down your walkway to a secluded bay to fish , kayak or paddle board.and spending the evenings sitting around the fire pit enjoying the amazing sunsets and cool bay breezes can not be matched. The accommodations inside the house are like a five star hotel. Rooms and amenities are the best we have experienced at a VRBO and the recreational toys and bikes are ample and first rate. Not to mention our host and manager has done everything to make this the best vacation possible. We will be back next year!

The house was amazing! We stayed for a multi-generation vacation and the house had something for everyone. The kids played nonstop between the paddle boards and kayaks, swimming pool, yard games, and pool table. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. The outdoor area looks and feels like you are at a resort. You’re also in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The water in the bay was clear and we saw tons of hermit crabs, fish, blue crabs, and small sting rays while paddle boarding. When the tide is out, it’s fun to walk out and look at all the hermit crabs. Overall, the house was a perfect retreat for a fun yet relaxing vacation!

Great place to stay. Lots of things to do with all those water toys and bikes. Swimming pool was nice.
