A beautiful place

This house was in a nice lot. The house itself smelled of mildew. Spider webs everywhere. I know this was a last minute replacement, but it’s not something I’d rent.

Great location, very nice place…

Great location and great house! The location allows us to leave our boat secured on the boardwalk below the house. The house is well equipped and we were able to cook on the porch and watch football and baseball at the same time.

The house is very spacious, has a Great Lake view, and is located in the heart of Reynolds.

The house was surprisingly spacious with plenty of room to spread out.

Water filtration system needs work. Furniture is tired - needs updating.

We loved this rental. It was a very good layout for the family. The gated community is beautiful.

The house was very clean and well appointed. Comfortable space for relaxing and recharging. Plenty of room for our family (2 boys) including dog and grandparents. We enjoyed the back porch overlooking the lake. The photos show a kayak but there wasn’t one on property so we rented from Wild Oconee sports, they delivered for a fee. We would recommend this property and will likely rent again.

We booked a last minute trip for a long weekend and the Marina Cove Escape house was great. House was very much as advertised and check-in process was smooth. Easy access to the lake and a Marina within walking distance would have been very convenient if they weren't currently limiting rentals to members only due to covid (which was noted in the listing).

There were a lot of dead bugs in the corners of the main living space. There was also a beer can under in of the beds. We had 8 people staying at the house and there were plenty of beds, but the house only had 6 forks and the only dinner table could only fit 6 chairs. The distance from the house to the lake seemed much closer in the pictures!! They consider there summer season over the end of July so several marinas were shut down

The cottage was located very close to the Marina and was really convenient when we rented a pontoon boat for a few hours one evening. This would be an ideal place to stay for someone who wanted to bring a boat or jet skis since there is a dock located in front of the cottage that is convenient. I would note that renting this cottage did not include access to the three different swimming pools and fitness center that are in the plantation. Fortunately we had some friends who own a home in the plantation and were able to access those facilities as their guests. You definitely want access to the pools in the summer time and the facilities are excellent. This is a great spot if you need to be near Athens GA and is close to Atlanta as well.

Our one problem (which was a bit scary), was that our names weren't at the security gate. It took a while for the rental company to get back with them.
