Everything was so great! Location was close enough to everything, but also a quiet wonderful residential area. Home was the perfect size for us with our adult children and their spouses, and our grandkids. The beach access was not far down the road for when we wanted to splash in the ocean. Beach access at the house would have been wonderful too but it was nice to not worry about littles going unsupervised. The private sand at the home was great for ‘treasure hunts’ (there may still be a handful of ‘jewels and coins’ for the next group to find 😉) The rooms and bathrooms were great sizes. The kitchen was exactly what we needed. The downstairs kitchen was great for overflow beverages. We had everything we needed to make some great meals. We did bring our own chef’s knives and glad we did. The view from the great room was unbelievable! Dolphins within the first minutes of our arrival! The sunsets…incredible! If we wanted shade it was there for us. If we needed to soak up some sun, we could do it easily. We are so happy we found this rental! We will definitely be back again. We loved this ideal location and looking out on the ocean and hearing the waves. An ideal spot to chill, make smores , play spikeball, enjoy great meals and family.

Had a good time, all family members enjoyed their stay. The coastal commission should let these people do what is necessary to protect their homes. The owner worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Fairly well stocked with kitchen things. It would have been helpful to have an inventory so we would not have to bring items that were there already.

House is beautiful; 8 bedrooms; 6 bathrooms. All 13 of us of one family were very comfortable. Oceanside 3 story house right on surf line, separated by rock berm. Very interesting experience at high tide. (Very safe in good weather.)

the place was right on the ocean and very nice! There is some sand at the back of the house, but we walked 20 minutes down to the pier where we could really experience the beach. The area is very nice which allowed us to walk to nearby restaurants that were very good.

Travelled here with family-12 adults - the rental was perfect, allowing each adult/ couple their own bedroom and ample spacious common space to hang out. Beachside views were great, highlighted by dolphins, sea lions and surfers. Highly recommended for a family get together

Had a group of 10 of use stay for the weekend here and loved it. Lots of space and everyone had their own bedroom and privacy.

This home will not disappoint. The home is very clean, spacious and furnished like a model home. The view and amenities are as described in the description. We rented it for the max allowed occupancy and with everyone in the home it still had plenty of room to relax. The great room has wonderful accordion window doors that open up to the ocean. This feature makes this home one of a kind because of its size. The home had plenty of chairs and seating, both inside and out. The home was stocked with all appliances and sand toys. I definitely would recommend staying here! Thank you Matt for providing such a great place for our family to vacation!

My company's leadership team stayed in the beach house for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The house has 8 bedrooms, all with comfortable queen beds and a great table and living room area that is perfect for meetings. There is a huge TV that isn't pictured which was perfect for projecting a laptop onto. The house is right on the beach which was accessible at low tide if you are very careful (wouldn't recommend going down there with children). The kitchen is a bit small given the size of the house, but it was fine for our group because we ate dinners out every night. There are many great restaurants in Carlsbad, a short Uber trip from the house. The property manager was very responsive, quickly fixing an issue with a slowly draining bathroom in the basement. She also recommended a place to buy firewood to fuel the nightly fires we had in the backyard. Another group from our company rented the house just before we arrived and the owner allowed them to leave supplies for us which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend this beach house for meetings, or a family gathering.

Had a great time and a home but was able to accommodate our large family and friends, with eight bedrooms and plenty of space to hang out in the living area. Will definitely keep this place on our list for future stays, which is conveniently located not too far from the Oceanside Pier, shopping and restaurants!

The home is in great location. Beautiful view of the ocean. When we checked in, the refrigerator's temp was at 68 degrees. It two emails, and almost 18 hours for a response. The manager basically scolded me for adjusting the settings. Which we did not. It wasn't until the day before we checked out that a repair man and building manager came by. There was a smaller refrigerator down stairs that we had to use for the most perishable items.

The online listing of this ocean home is very accurate. You walk in the front door to a beautiful great room, kitchen dining area with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. At high tide, the waves are crashing just to the top of the wall of boulders in front of the white picket fence and sand yard. We were there with 15 family members and the 8 bedrooms, which are well done, were perfect for our annual family vacation. The kids loved seeing the waves roll in, digging in the sand in the backyard (which had a perfect variety of beach shovels, buckets and toys), riding trikes and scooters on downstairs concrete patio and bouncing their balls on the patio. We all loved seeing the schools of dolphins swimming by almost everyday, seeing the Huge Ships on the horizon and watching the sunsets from the balcony!!! Our dinner out to Blade 1936 was incredible. Food was 5 Star, Service Wonderful and Ambiance 5 Star for warm, elegant yet still can bring your family. Best Bruchetta with Fresh Burrata ever!! Papardelle Pasta with Mushrooms, Sausage and Shrimp in a cream sauce was heavenly!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The management for this home, especially Kim, Adrianna and Patrick are fantastic!! Very responsive and helpful!! Thank you Kim for the Toddler Travelers rec…lifesaver for our family who have a 3 month old and 2 year old. We rented pack n Plays, monitors, toys and lots of other things that made traveling with little ones so much easier. TT Located right by San Diego airport, super simple to pick up and return. Two kitchens in home and they are small, yet work very well. The dining room waterfall quartz table is stunning!!! Cooked two dinners at the house and had lovely family dinners. They do need more and better silverware for such an upscale property. So why no 5 star overall rating? House terrific for a rental, Management terrific, location overlooking The Pacific,,,, stunning, nice beach to go to north of the pier….our kids loved it!! However, Oceanside is still in transition….it has come so far in the past 7-10 years, so many new developments, new restaurants and small businesses. It is only going to continue to transition. But did not want viewers of this review to expect in the city itself Newport Beach or Laguana. Then again, you probably cannot find an 8 Bedroom Beautiful Inside Home Like this hidden jewel that will never let you and your family forget their time listening too and watching the gorgeous waves of the Pacific Ocean….🌴⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌴

Had a great stay with family. Ample bedrooms and baths to comfortably accommodate our family. Great view and nice outside space. Main kitchen area was a little small for meal preparation for a large group. There was a downstairs kitchen which was nice but we didn't use other than for refrig. The microwave blew up during our stay and they replaced it same day for us. We were a little disappointed with the other appliances. They were worn and rusty. Wouldn't expect that with the price we were paying. Access to the ocean wasnt easy either. There were stairs but they stopped at about 3 feet above the beach which made access difficult. Trash was also a bit of a challenge. City picked up trash on Thursday only and we made a lot of trash. While they provided 7 or 8 large trash bins in the garage, half of them had trash in them when we arrived on Saturday. That limited how much room we had during our stay.

Our family gathered to celebrate a big birthday for my mom. The home was perfect for the occasion and fit the 16 of us perfectly. There was enough private space for everyone and the main level was a great area for us all to be together. We did have a few cars and we were always able to find parking right next to the home. The tides worked perfectly for us to spend ample time in the water or take walks up and down the shore. The owner was readily available via text as was the maintenance provider. We really enjoyed our stay & would very much recommend the home to others.

Concrete stairs to beach but last thee steps very damaged by waives. Large living room/dining/kitchen accommodated our group of 5 adults and five kids. Everyone who wanted their own bedroom and bath had it. I would recommend they install grab bars in showers as a meaningful safety measure. Other than that I wouldn’t change anything.

We had the best week at the Oceanside Beach House. Everything was so easy.. from checkin to checkout, room accommodations, layout, supplies, etc. It fit our whole crew and was the perfect place to make memories.

I gathered my 8 adult children and their 8 children together for a family reunion/birthday celebration. There were 18 of us all together so we used every inch of the house and outside. The accommodations were nice but we were disappointed that the beach access was difficult. There is a rock sea wall and stairs that have been partially washed away that you use to access the beach and makes it difficult to access. Of course we understand about high and low tide and during high tide you could not access the beach at all. We had to go to the beach closer to the oceanside pier to spend time for a play day. The other small complaint was there were no towel racks in the bathrooms to hang any towels after showering. There were minimal supplies, so everything you needed you would have to bring, even down to the toilet paper and paper towels. The street side bedroom was very loud at night and hard to sleep if you had the windows open. I am sharing this information to help future guests understand the accommodations. We loved having two kitchens to prepare meals, the bedrooms were good sized. Plenty of bathrooms. We had a nice stay and will return to the area but I dont think we would rent this house again due to the lack of beach access.
