We had a great time at the lake. The house was perfect even down to the decorations. My boys had so much fun fishing. Great view of the mountains. Already planning a trip with for a moms weekend.

The chalet had everything we needed and was obviously well cared for and kept very clean. We will definitely return if it is available!

This property was exactly as it was described in the listing. The host was extremely welcoming and the communication was great. The cottage is directly on the lake with access to a large shared dock and water toys. Unfortunately we went when the water was low and it was cold, so we could not take advantage of the water. Our purpose for coming to Hiawassee was to see a show at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds which is only 2 miles down the road. The cottage was very clean and well kept. It is a little close to the main road, so you can hear traffic at times, and the other 3 cottages are also very close to one another. However, the other cottages were occupied during our stay, and we never heard the other tenants. I would highly recommend this cottage for a couple or a family with small children who need a little escape to the mountains. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return!

This chalet was decorated beautiful. Most importantly, it was clean and well stocked. In a great location. Give all 5 Stars. No complaints whatsoever. Beautiful town with many things to do. Highly recommend.

The chalet was adorable! Clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The porch and views were so peaceful, and the bed was VERY comfortable. We went with 3 adults, an infant, and our dog and the space was perfect. Loved that we also had groceries and stores within 5 minutes for whatever we needed.

We truly enjoyed the well appointed chalet. Beautiful property and fantastic view of the lake. We could not have asked for more. We will be back

This Chalet was so great with a beautiful lake view!! It was super clean and the owners were so quick to respond to any questions we had. We really enjoyed using their paddleboard/kayaks and the firepit was perfect for evening smores. Thank you Jamie and Cas!

This is our second stay at Sunnyside! We had our extended family and had 4 out of the 5 chalets. We had so much fun boating, tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming off the dock! Around town, we visited Anna Ruby falls, Brasstown Bald, High Shoals Falls, Dahlonega (Smith House restaurant was so good), and Helen. We did the Cool River tubing and rode the mountain coaster in Helen! Everyone from age 5 to 60 had a blast! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! Lori (Groveland, Florida)

The property was perfect. A beautiful setting and right on the lake. The local restaurants were all within 5 minutes of the cottage. I hope we can stay here again.

This chalet has a perfect Floorplan. It's warm and welcoming interior made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the short walk down to the boat dock. The back porch was cozy with a swing and grill with all the things needed for a great stay !

The moment we walked in, I fell in love. It felt so homey it felt like a place filled with love ,very welcoming. We enjoyed it here, It was so peaceful and relaxing. The best part about it place was well-stocked. It seem like we had everything at our fingertips. It snowed the first day we got there, but we had everything we need. They even little yellow book at the restaurants in town and the grocery store.

My husband and I really enjoyed the relaxing environment and beautiful views. The chalet has so many things that makes the stay easier and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking, sitting in the rocker and just watching time pass by.

It was a gorgeous Fall weekend and the house was just great! Even though the lake was down for the winter it was still beautiful! The cabin is well stocked and decorated. We will be back!

The Sunnyside Chalet did NOT disappoint! It was adorable and easy to get to from the main road. It was so clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. We had a wonderful stay! The owners were extremely responsive. One of our best VRBO experiences ever!!

We loved the cottage and view of the lake! The minute we walked in we felt like we were home; clean, cozy, and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch. This is located so you can easily get to shopping and restaurants in the area. We went to the top of Bell Mountain ( driving practically straight up) and really enjoyed our visit to Brasstown Bald. Hope to be back soon!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Sunny Side Chalet. Property was very clean and just as advertised. Location was convenient to everything and communication with the owners was exceptional.

We enjoyed a lovely lake view every morning. The weather was nice but there were plenty of books, games and 2 tvs in the property if it hadn’t been nice. We had all intentions of using the kayaks and paddle board, but we ran out of time. The kitchen is well equipped and even some condiments. The proximity to the pickleball courts is great. We could easily spend a couple weeks up here. Thanks

I would highly recommend this property for a couple or small family. The cottage was beautiful in and out and our family loved the lakeside setting. Great for swimming, kayaking, fishing or if you have your own boat. Our dogs loved it too

I was so impressed by the cleanliness of this Chalet. I didn’t feel that I had to rewash or clean anything before we used it. The view from the porch swing was awesome. There was a bit of road noise, but on the other hand we were so close to town that we ventured out quite a bit. Unfortunately, we were only there for a short period of time and because of the weather didn’t get to enjoy any of the lake toys that were offered. I would definitely stay in this Chalet again and hopefully for a longer period of time. Did I mention how clean it was?? ☺️

My husband and I love this Chalet. It was everything described and more. We soent most our time on the back porch or down on the dock. We brought our boat and enjoyed beautiful Lake Chatuge. We went by boat to dinner at The Marina station. We will be back.

This was the cutest little cottage! So peaceful and so relaxing! You can see the lake from the bed! We just loved our entire stay!!

The Sunshine Chalet is a well stocked and very comfortable home. We had everything we needed and loved sitting on the porch and playing games they provided. Communication was always very easy and you can tell they put a lot of thought into providing for their guests. My only complaint was there was more traffic noise than we expected. Otherwise we felt very well taken care of.
