Apartment was nice. Kitchen was very well appointed. Very convenient to restaurants and sights. The property guide was very helpful and communication was great. Check-in was easy. A couple things we noticed: en suite bathroom was very small and we were surprised by the lack of mattress pads. We added a second sheet. The area is under renovation so there’s a lot of trash out front, but it should be lovely when it’s done. All in all a nice stay.

My husband and I rented this perfect flat for the month of August and we were really happy with this rental. The flat was super clean, well supplied with everything that we needed and the location could not have been better. But the best part of this experience was the easy communication with the owner and his associates. One thing to note is that this perfect flat is on the third level. We had no issues with the stairs but that’s something to keep in mind. We have rented literally dozens and dozens of apartments over the past 20 years and this flat is near the top of the list. By the way, Lisbon is a gem, a wonderful place to spend a week or a month or more.

This is a very nice vintage spacious place in a safe neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere from this location. We were only blocks from the beach. Near major attractions. Very well appointed. Theyaccomodated a longer stay and had mini clean, towels and linens half way through. Cartake responded quickly via Whats App for questions. Will stay here again.

This beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable apartment is steps away from restaurants, stores, public transportation and important sites in Lisbon. The apartment is in the perfect location and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The owner was wonderful to work with, his communication was excellent throughout. We stayed for a week and all of us want to return—to Lisbon and this wonderful apartment.

This is a very charming spacious property with a completely modernized kitchen. The high ceilings gives it a very roomy feel! The location is perfect. Lots of great restaurants, sites to see , bakeries, minimarts and wine markets nearby. The owner of the property has a team of individual who are able to take care of your needs. The pictures are very accurate in the description of the property. Be advised that there are three flights of stairs so you get your required steps for the day! The master bath is very spacious however the bath attached to the second bedroom is smaller. All in all a great place to spend your days visiting Lisbon!

Everything about this VRBO was easy, from communicating with Samuel to coordinating access with Joao, to staying there. Close to coffee shops, restaurants, groceries, and public transport. Everything was exactly as shown in the online photos. Highly recommend.

The apartment was great in a perfect location. It was amazingly quiet with fantastic shutters that made it easy to sleep. Sammuel was awesome in answering my questions and let us check in the morning we arrived which made our first day so much easier. Appliances were brand new and the apartment was just perfect!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your apartment. We enjoyed both the location and the apartment, especially being able to cook and eat meals. The apartment was a short walk from the metro, and we were able to walk to most sites. At the end of the day, we enjoyed unwinding in the living room with the windows wide open. The apartment was exactly what we were expecting and as pictured, and it worked perfectly for our group of 6 - two couples and two kids.

Lovely , spacious apartment in centrally located area of Lisbon. Everyone was great to deal with and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and Fado!! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone...(as long as you are ok with stairs as it is a 4th floor walk up. )

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful apartment. We were a family of 5. Everyone had very comfortable beds. Very clean. A great location to explore Lisbon from. Most sights were within walking distance. There are 2 metro's a very short walk away. However, be advised that there is no elevator and the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Highly recommend.

We spent 3 nights at this property with our 3 children. The weather was very hot, so the air conditioning was most appreciated! Having a kitchen and dining table was a big plus for our family, as was the central location. We did not rent a car during our time at this rental as it is really unnecessary. You can walk to much of central Lisbon from the apartment, and use Metro or public transit for the rest. The availability of Wifi was great as well. Thank you for letting us enjoy our apartment!

Stayed for 3 nights at Samuel's beautiful apartment, which is traditional in character but excellently modernised. The high ceilings make it feel really spacious, and the location is perfect, in the centre of Downton, but with well insulated windows so no noise. You can even see the sea if you lean out of the window! Samuel was an excellent host providing a useful information pack and João who showed us round was friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place and would stay again if I get an opportunity to return to Lisbon!

The apartment is in an old building but ideally located and has 3 nice bedrooms and a good kitchen that has everything you need. The stairs and stairway can be a bit daunting for the very young and old, and there can be a bit of smell from the plumbing/drains, but overall we very much enjoyed our stay in the flat and the service was very good.

We were a family of four (two parents, one child, one grandma) and found that this apartment exactly as advertised, looking just like the photos in the listing. The property manager was helpful and quick to respond to our inquiries. The living room and dining room are spacious, and the bedrooms very comfortable. It could easily accommodate a larger family or two couples (there are two decent-sized bathrooms). The kitchen is a good size for an urban apartment, and very well-equipped. The apartment building itself is well situated for exploring the city, with many sites (e.g. St. Jorge's Castle, Lisbon Cathedral, museums, etc.) within walking distance. There is also a bakery just up the street, as well as several coffee shops, and the grocery store is a five-minute walk away. We would recommend this apartment to anyone we know visiting Lisbon. The only thing we would note (and this is only because some people may have mobility challenges) is that the apartment is up three flights of stairs, which the senior citizen in our party found challenging.
