Our stay at this home was the perfect getaway. Isolated, quiet, beautiful scenery on the lake. Close enough to ellsworth, searsport for great dining. Short trip to Bar Harbor. Can't wait til next year. Can only hope its available the week we are planning our next trip to back to Maine. Without a doubt will be a return stay when we go back

The place was great, we felt right at home it was very clean and the view of the lake is spectacular. Plenty of room for 9 adults 2 kids and a dog with room for more if needed. The host was awesome, always got right back to me if i had any questions. I hope to come back again. 🙂

My extended family and I had the best time at this beautiful lake house on Toddy Pond. It was peaceful and relaxing. Enough room for everyone with a bedroom for all! The deck is amazing overlooking the lake. So much fun to be had on the lake itself. Blue Hill is close by and a great place to visit. Acadia was close enough for some day trips. Owners were super responsive and friendly. The best owners we have had the pleasure of renting from. Thank you for a great week!

We loved the quiet location. The house was spacious considering the weather keep us inside a good portion of the time. When we did go out side the roomy yard and beautiful views were great. Loved sitting on the dock and listening to the loons and doing some kayaking.

We had a great stay. Carin was very responsive to everything we needed. The house was very nice and everyone had fun, we did some fishing, kids played in the water, bonfire, etc. We had everything we needed at the property.

A portion of my family wanted a place to gather together this property offered a wonderful spot. We felt we were off the beaten path which was delightful and the fall foliage was breathtaking. The property managers were very helpful and communicative. We filled our bellies, we rested comfortably and we filled our hearts. We felt beyond grateful for the opportunity to gather together. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

The property was amazing, clean and had plenty of room for our group! The lake and dock were wonderful. The property is much farther back than we expected but was definitely not a negative for us! We went to get a break from the hustle and this house hit the mark. The owners were great, she sent us ideas of local spot and answered all of our questions before and during our stay.

We really felt at home from the first day. The accommodations were excellent, plenty of room for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed a day at the blue hills fair, Acadia hikes and shipping in bar harbor. Everything we needed was there and the Carin was great as a host supplying us with plenty of tips on things to do. It was a much needed vacation in a beautiful setting where we could boat fish and watch the eagles! Thank you Carin so much!

A lovely, welcoming home perfectly placed on Toddy Pond - we would give it 10 stars if we could! Our group of 11 (family with older teens and several friends) just loved this home. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us in comfortable bedrooms, at the dining table, on the comfy couch in front of the TV, and outside on the deck. The house had every amenity we could ask for and was spotless upon check-in. The property is beautifully situated on the lake and provides plenty of equipment for water activities. We enjoyed the fire pit and screened-in platform nightly. Prior to our arrival, Carin provided a list of items available in the house, and several suggestions for day trips, activities and restaurants. Carin was very easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions. We will definitely return again and again!

First off, this is a perfect vacation lakehouse with everything needed to enjoy the being on the water (kayaks, canoes and a pedal boat), in the water (swimming platform and the dock) and just enjoying a great view of it from the dock, covered platform on the grass, from around the campfire or the deck. Our entire party enjoyed a bald eagle right on the neraby island. It was majestic! The large house provide plenty of room, comfort, with everything we needed. Secondly, Acadia National park is stunning and only slightly more than an hour away. Awesome place. Latsly, Carin is so responsive to questions, provided tons of great tips with very clear reponses and communication. She is a wonderful host.

This worked out fine for our large Family. This fishing was good and even caught a turtle. This was a good location for sightseeing and visiting Bar Harbor.

The owner was terrific to work & communicate with, quite informative. The home was as described, quite well set up and comfy. That being said we weren't in it much because we were on the lake !!! Loved Toddy Pond

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. The house has plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out. The outdoor space gave the kids lots of place to play in and out of the water. The pond is lovely and the house sits in a shallow cove that is great for the kids, but also has a swimming dock in deeper water. Carin was very helpful giving recommendations for all kinds of activities and food. We had a great week and left with awesome memories! If we ever return to Maine, we would stay here again!

Everything about the house itself was perfect for our needs - the only tiny drawback was the internet access which precluding things like streaming, but the owner was very upfront about that going in. Great communication and a great home for the week.

The property is located in a beautiful environment with ocean front. Plenty to do at the property itself - paddle boats, hammock, camp fire, canoe and so on. The property is spacious for the 12 of us. The only downside we felt was the lack of bathroom/ toilets on the lower floor. With this and few upgrades to carpets, this would be the a heavenly place. The view from most rooms is superb. Great collection of movies and music which we could not enjoy because we spent more time outdoors and in the surrounding Acadia National Park, Camden, Baxter State Park. Overall a perfect vacation spot

The house was just what we needed, lots of beds and 2.5 baths. It was just as advertised and real clean and quiet. Expect a tough ride in on very bumpy and choppy hard packed dirt road. I would recommend vehicles with good clearance, dont expect to bring a Corvette for example.

We loved this home. It had everything we thought we needed and things we didn’t even know we wanted. I stayed here with me large family and friends. The house accommodated us perfectly. The pond was fantastic and most importantly it was perfectly safe for my 3 year old twins. It had a shallow entrance to the pond for young kids and more depth further in. It was perfect! The homeowners were amazing. Responded to any questions very quickly. Truth is we had a great time here all because of the perfect house and homeowners. We would definitely come back here.

The family had a great relaxing time on the lake, backyard, and in the house. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and swimming on the lake. The lake was calm, clean, and warm. There were plenty of boating options at the house (kayaks, canoe, paddle board, and paddle boat). There’s a floating dock that the kids enjoyed thoroughly. We were able to catch a lot of fish including blue gills and both large and small mouth bass all from the dock. The covered porch was perfect for sitting in the shade while the kids enjoyed the lake. Because of the rain, we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use the fire pit area, but there was plenty of dry firewood provided. The raised deck was the perfect place for eating lunch. There was plenty of space inside for the family to spread out. We only had 8 people, but the house could easily accommodate more. The house was updated and very well maintained. The host was awesome and always got back to me right away if I had any questions. We are all hoping to come back again next year and maybe bring some friends along, too!

This was one of my favorite home rental stays. It is a large property with many bedrooms and it oversees a beautiful lake. Our group of eight adults had plenty to do and see. The host was very friendly and checked in via text message from time to time. We used the kayaks, built a fire to sit around, had a BBQ, and the paddle boats. We also played badminton (brought our own racquets though I believe there are some on the property). An amazing stay and just an hour from Acadia National park, which we visited three times. I hope to rebook this beautiful home again one day. It is very clean and amply stocked. Also very few mosquitoes and well kept lawn considering it’s proximity to the water. Thank you!

This was a great home in a perfect location. The outdoor activities were great and so many places to hang out. There was 11 of us and there was plenty of room. We couldnt have asked for anything more.

The outdoor property is a large lawn leading down to the water giving everyone plenty of room to spread out, play lawn games or enjoy the fire! The lake is beautiful, we had some beautiful kayaking and fishing days. Something for everyone.

Great stay at a great house!!! We had no little ones, which was good, as this is a little difficult if you have small kids because there is no beach. Also, know your boating, this pond is full of boulders, but if you are careful and scope the area first, its great. Great Kayak, paddle boarding, canoe, jet ski place.

From the moment we arrived, the week spent at the camp was a joy. The home is lovely, featuring full amenities including a dishwasher and washer and dryer, and the bedrooms are spacious and feature comfortable beds. There were ample beach towels, and you'll need them - the pond is warm enough to comfortably swim in and there's plenty of kayaks on site to enjoy the water as well. The backyard is well-manicured, clean, and a great place to sit around a campfire or lounge in the hammock. I genuinely hope to book this house again in the future and share it with more friends, as it's a magical and peaceful experience that's roughly an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia. The host was quick to respond to any inquiries, and was very friendly in person too, which is just icing on the cake. We want to go back already!

We rented this beautifull lake house for 2 families. It has plenty of space, full kitchen, grill, cozy outside seating areas and plenty of kayaks to explore the lake. There is a good size bass in the lake, u can fish right from the dock or from a kayak. We enjoyed our stay here very much!!! Carin was very helpful with our inquiries and making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend this property!!!

Absolutely wonderful. It was clean and peaceful! Grate place for the kids to hang out and watch the provided movies or play bord games.. the girls loved that they all got to sleep in one room it was like a big slumber party The house had everything you could think of for a week at the lake!! It was wonderful
